Chapter 10 - The Unwanted Call

Lucas bit onto Silvia's nipple, making a tingling sensation spread all over her body.

Her flushed, innocent face was filled with a wanting look. She could not help but submit to the new sensations her body was feeling.

Maybe I should stop... what am I even doing here? I just wanted to help her out, and now I am here in this situation. But damn, she is just so irresistible.

Lucas tugged with his teeth, making sure to look at her the whole time, appreciating every movement, sound and expression she made.

Reciprocating it, Silvia looked down on him, wanting to see his face too, mischievous and full of craving.

Pressing on to move forward, Lucas lifted up Silvia. She was lighter than he had expected.

Silvia, who had never been lifted, was a bit shocked to see how effortlessly he picked her up. She grabbed onto him tightly.

"What are you doing?" Silvia asked, flustered.

"Something I want," Lucas replied, vocalising his hunger for Silvia.

Then, abruptly, his phone rang.

The irritation could be seen on his face, but he tried to ignore it and continued kissing her neck. The phone rang again.

"Fuck!" Lucas placed Silvia down on the bench as he walked towards his phone.

Silvia watches every move he makes, not knowing what to say next.

Ah... are we stopping here?

She was surprised to see that she herself was disappointed by the sudden disturbance.

Awkwardly sitting down on the bench, seeing that Lucas was taking a while, she got her sketchbook out and started to sketch everything down. The shape of his body was more defined and detailed, and she rapidly sketched away in a trance.

She thought about the kiss and how their tongues danced against each other, symbolising themselves as fish. She started to make sketches of them dancing and swirling around like they had done with their tongues.

Lucas, who had now finished his call, walked up behind Silvia, who seemed to be busy with her book.

He peeked at the sketches.

"I thought it was me that you were drawing, not food." He joked, startling Silvia.

"Oh, it's not like that..." Silvia sulked, which in turn made Lucas laugh. "I did not know you could make such a face. Sorry, I talked bad about your artwork, huh?"

After calming down, they both acknowledged that the mood had changed compared to how it was just a few minutes ago.

Realising this, Lucas cleared his throat.

"Actually, I have to go now. I just got a call from my family, something came up." Lucas said, scratching his head.

I don't want to go, but family matters are more urgent right now. My mood has changed, too, so it's best I just leave now.

Silvia just nodded at this news, back to her same expressionless face again.

Seeing this, Lucas could not help but feel like maybe Silvia did not care as much.

I am probably just a subject for her to study. She keeps calling me her muse. I guess she is still keeping definite boundaries between us.

Lucas vanished behind the changing room door, leaving Silvia all by herself.

I might as well swim now that he is gone.

Silvia made her way to the pool and sat on the edge, dipping her legs into the pool. She put on her swim cap and looked at the water.

The cold of the pool spread through her body, making her realise exactly how heated up she was from the interaction.

She held her cheeks in her hands now. She blinked a few times.

Oh my god! Did I just do that? I have never done something like that before... It was not bad, though.

She touched her lips, remembering the touch of his on hers. The way they pressed against hers and how his warm tongue pushed its way, inviting itself in.

She kicked her legs in the pool in embarrassment and shook her head, smacking her cheeks.

It's not the time to think about something like that, Silvia. He's probably not even being serious and just playing with me.

Dipping into the water, Silvia decided to take it slow today and calm down.

Lying her back in the water, Silvia swam facing the ceiling, thinking about what she had just done with Lucas. His touch still lingered in her mind.

So engrossed in her mind, she bumps her head slightly on the other side of the wall.

"Ow." She rubs her head and sighs. "It's over now, stop thinking about it."

Despite telling herself that she kept on bringing it up over and over again, replaying it, trying to relive the moment.

What she felt with him was understandably new and exciting, something she wanted more of, regardless of the consequences.

Suddenly, Silvia's phone rings and she makes her way out of the pool. It was a call from her brother, so she picked it up.

"Hello, James," Silvia said, not realising the situation she was in.

"Silvia, where are you? It's nearly midnight, and you have not been home yet! Are you with that dude from last time? You can't just go out like this without telling me, I messaged you so many times!" James shouted through the phone at Silvia.

"I see, I am sorry. I am alone, but I was swimming this whole time. I just kind of lost track of time thinking about stuff. I will come home now." Silvia sighed, ending her call.

Looking at her phone, she saw the dozens of texts her brother had sent her.

I did not even realise the time... when was the last time I swam this long? Probably when I was still competing, huh. I guess I still have the skills.

Silvia looked back at the pool, a bit relieved that the skills did not just vanish even though she was not competing.

Finally making it back home, she was greeted with a pissed off looking James.

"Finally back, huh! Seriously, Silvia, you are grown up now, you can't be doing something like this. If you had not picked up, I would have called the police or something! I know you are normally unaware of a lot of things, but it's not good to be out like this at night." James huffed as Silvia sat down, staring at the floor, just nodding along with everything he said.

I just forgot the time. Why does James have to be so mean?

Silvia just sulked along until she was finally allowed to eat.

[Lucas]

Seriously, why now? Can't she just have a talk with me when I get home? Emergency meeting, my ass. I told her I will be training. What else does she want from me?

Parking his car, he stomped into the house, frustrated by the situation since he had to try his best to subdue his hard-on.

Smacking the door open and shut, announcing his arrival into the house, his parents were waiting for him in the living room.

"Sit down, Lucas." His mother, Mi-Kyung Han, and his father, Tae-Sik Han, sat there ordering him.

"What is it?" He said, slumping down, placing his bag on his lap.

"I heard there was a commotion in your university, and you were involved in it, Lucas. You know now that more than ever, you need to focus on your career." His mother said with a furrowed brow.

"I was focused. I had been swimming and training a little until you called me over. It's off-season, and I am still making sure I swim every day. What do you want, and who do you have spying for you behind my back?" Lucas was irritably pissed that his parents had someone spying on him.

"They talk about a girl who has been stalking you?" his father looked at him through his thick-rimmed glasses. "Don't get yourself involved with people like this. If you do it with one more person, it will come to you thinking it's ok."

Clara, that bitch. Who else is close to my parents and hates Silvia that much?

"She is not a stalker; she is someone I am close with. All I have to do in the end is train, swim and win. You don't know anything cause it's not you guys who are the Olympic swimmers. Remember, anything you guys were making me do, figure skating, and refused to let me swim. I made my own choices then, and I will keep on doing so." Lucas spat out in anger, "I want this more than anyone else, so stop lecturing me on useless, jealous and disgusting people's thoughts and opinions. Just to let you know, your little 'informant' was suspended and had their scholarship revoked. If anything, she is my stalker."

His parents were stunned to find out that Clara was in his position. They looked at each other, contemplating whether the information she had given to them was true or not.

"I thought they were close... I mean, she even chased him to the same university instead of going abroad, no?" His mother whispered to him under her breath.

She sighed as she heard Lucas stomping up the stairs and slamming his room door shut.
