All four of them worked together on the signages. Finn and Durgan were in-charge of gathering the trees, Tumble was in-charge of making the body, and Ranran was in-charge of varnishing.
Durgan was also the one to write, simply because the goblins were illiterate, while Finn couldn't write well. Somehow, auto translation of the language was installed in his mind, and he could read local literature too, but writing was a totally different beast.
It was much like watching a sport and knowing all its rules, knowing when it was a good shot or something, but not actually proficient in doing it yourself.
Hours passed like this with everyone a bit sweaty and grimy from work. Amusingly, Durgan's beard was tied into a bun. It made Finn curious since he saw it.
In the end, after a while, Finn couldn't help but comment. "Full blood dwarves have long beards, right? Do beards mean something different to you guys?" he asked, and Durgan nodded.
