Chapter 34 - Experience at the Thousand Eyes Auction

"I know that. But I'm confident that you, with your savior achievements, will grow rapidly in a short time."

Aishelia said with a smile. Although she was currently a Four-Digit, and Aslan merely a Five-Digit Gift, a Five-Digit God, his vast achievements hadn't been fully absorbed yet.

However, according to Little Garden's customs, a hero who had created a legend and earned achievements—regardless of whether they'd grown yet—was considered to have already reached their maximum potential.

Extraordinary growth speed—this was one of the uses of achievements.

"So, I believe you won't make me wait too long."

Aishelia's clear blue eyes, as bright as the sky, gazed at Aslan with hope.

"I think the Savior won't refuse my challenge, right?"

Seeing the hopeful girl before him, Aslan's mouth twitched. Though he'd never even heard of Aishelia before.

Yet, just from the Perseus surname and the current strength of the Perseus community.

Plus the information on her recently provided by Shiroyasha's Laplace Glasses.

Aishelia Perseus—leader of the Perseus community, a subordinate of the Thousand Eyes alliance and a senior Thousand Eyes official.

An elite Four-Digit hero, with god-level combat ability. Disciple and knight-servant of Athena.

With such abilities, she could easily defeat even Izayoi upon his arrival in Little Garden—unless he used Another Cosmology.

"Young Aslan, accept her challenge."

As Aslan hesitated on how to decline, suddenly Shiroyasha's voice rang in his ear.

"Trust me. I'll find you a good teacher. Aishelia won't be your opponent."

Hearing Shiroyasha's voice, Aslan became confident—almost arrogant.

"Of course, I won't refuse anyone who dares to challenge me."

Yet, compared to the confidence he displayed, Aslan actually felt somewhat nervous.

He could only hope Shiroyasha would find him a good teacher—preferably one who could teach him some extremely powerful abilities.

Aslan always had a clear understanding of himself. A Planeswalker, so he was also a mage.

He was definitely not a close-combat fighter type.

At most, he'd learn one or two techniques so close combat wouldn't be his weakness.

"Good, I'm getting excited."

Aishelia nodded in satisfaction and said proudly.

"That's what a hero should be."

"Come on, this is probably your first time at the Thousand Eyes headquarters. I'll accompany you on a tour."

Aishelia turned, waved her hand at Aslan, signaling him to follow.

"Whatever."

Feeling her attitude had suddenly become much friendlier, Aslan shook his head helplessly and followed.

He'd just received an unprovoked challenge letter?

Then, under Aishelia's guidance, Aslan gained a deeper understanding of Thousand Eyes.

"Thousand Eyes is the largest commercial community in Little Garden. If you have a Gift or product to sell, consider Thousand Eyes."

"However, that's not Thousand Eyes' main focus. Its primary focus is information. Any information—no matter what—as long as the price is right, even information about Three-Digit God Kings can be obtained."

"Of course, if you want to buy information, you can ask Lord Shiroyasha for the internal price."

"And here, we sell Thousand Eyes' specialty products—Mystic Eyes—in various different levels."

When they arrived at the Mystic Eyes exhibition room, Aslan stopped in his tracks. Honestly, he was very curious about Mystic Eyes.

After all, in anime, various eye techniques and Mystic Eyes were extremely famous.

Shortly after, a pair of blue eyes caught Aslan's attention. When he looked at them, he felt as if death itself was watching him.

"Mystic Eye of Direct Death. Its prototype is Balor, the Celtic King. If used to its limit, it can even perceive the death of a Four-Digit."

"Valued at fifty million Thousand Eyes gold coins."

Looking at this Mystic Eye of Direct Death, Aslan felt as if experiencing a strange hallucination. He felt as if he wasn't in Little Garden, but aboard the Mystic Eye Collection Train.

After that, Aslan also went to browse other shops.

He could only say that Thousand Eyes truly deserved to be Little Garden's largest commercial community. The various Gifts on sale far exceeded Aslan's imagination.

Aslan even saw a Gundam at a sci-fi themed booth.

He even saw two Taoist-robed boys selling Ginseng Fruit.

Of course, it wasn't the real Ginseng Fruit—though it could boost vitality, it only extended life by a few hundred years.

But it had to be admitted, the taste was quite delicious.

The two boys, seeing Aslan was also from the East, gave him two to try for free.

Of course, Aslan also bought several items he found interesting.

However, due to his thin wallet, he chose to pay using item cards he made himself. These single-use storage space cards with large capacity were very popular.

After all, the popularity of storage items in Little Garden wasn't very high. Many communities developed to Five-Digit level still used horse-drawn carts to transport goods.

Moreover, Aslan could mass-produce them, and making these item cards didn't drain much energy.

Yet, the most interesting item Aslan bought was the Talisman of All Spells Breaking.

This item was crafted from anti-magic materials and forged using a special method, capable of cutting and destroying any spell.

Though it claimed to break any spell, in reality, only Six-Digit and Seven-Digit beings would use spells of that nature.

Five-Digits touched concepts, and Four-Digits could even manipulate Authorities.

Those were far more fundamental powers, unaffected by anti-magic forces.

Still, following his collecting principle, Aslan bought it anyway. After all, it wasn't too expensive.

As for the auction? Although it had started, Leticia and her Divinity were the final auction items.

There was still a long way before Leticia's auction began.

On the other hand, seeing Aslan skillfully pay using self-made item cards, Aishelia's mouth twitched.

She sighed helplessly.

"Indeed, this help isn't easy to get."

Why had Aishelia accompanied Aslan around the Thousand Eyes headquarters? So she could help pay when Aslan saw something he wanted to buy but couldn't afford.

That way, Aslan would owe her a favor. Then, when trading Leticia for Aslan's Authority, she could defer payment of the difference.

But who would've thought Aslan was so skilled at making Gifts and trading them?

"This is all Laius's fault!"

Aishelia said, gritting her teeth. If it weren't for Laius's stupidity, she wouldn't have to take such a roundabout path.

The price difference... truly gave her a headache.

She also didn't want to owe Aslan a favor. Favors were the hardest debts to repay.

She still had many favors owed to Canaria.
