The world never ran out of ways to remind me I didn’t belong. Cruel jokes in hallways. Laughter that followed me home. Words sharper than blades, carving deeper than bruises ever could. 

Bit by bit, I shrank into myself until there was nothing left but silence and the weight of my own loneliness.

"I wonder if she's going to be alright?" Ren murmured under his breath.


Emy had promised to take care of Schrodinger while they were busy with their endless rehearsals, filming music videos, tours, and promotions. He appreciated it more than he'd ever admit out loud.


Emy was clumsy, loud, and unpredictable, but she always kept her word.

"Maybe I should bring her some food . . ."


"Oi, Ren! What are you mumbling about back there?" Lance suddenly appeared at his shoulder, smacking him hard enough to nearly throw him off balance.


Ren stiffened like a soldier caught napping and slowly turned his head, face carved into a perfect mask of calm.


Lance burst into laughter, clutching his stomach. "You're so uptight! Relax, man. You look like you're about to confess your sins instead of going on stage. What is it? Nervous?"
