His eyes were dark with hunger as they roamed over my face and body.


"I want to bite your neck and lick your nape," he continued hoarsely, fingers curling into fists at his sides as if physically restraining himself from reaching for her. "You drive me insane."


My face went hot. Excuse me? Sir, you're already insane!


I wanted to say it out loud, but something in his eyes—raw, desperate, unguarded—stole my voice.
