"We'll go with that angle," Mr. Meyers said decisively.


Lance's heart slammed painfully against his ribs.


And somehow, he'd only dragged her deeper into the mess.


"Remember your contract," Mr. Meyers said coldly. "You belong to us. Defy the company, and we sue for damages. AUREA may be rising, but don't forget—you're replaceable. There are dozens of younger idols waiting for your throne."
