Wanda saw everyone step forward to try and lift the hammer. Only Captain America managed to budge it slightly, so she went over to Han Yu and asked quietly,
"Maybe it's not possible yet."
Han Yu shook his head.
Whether Captain America could lift the hammer now, Han Yu didn't know. But Captain America knew what lifting the hammer meant: that he would be able to stand on the same level as Thor.
Whether he could withstand the pressure that this level brought was the awareness Captain America needed to have.
In Han Yu's memory, Captain America lifted Mjolnir several years later.
The Avengers all took a turn, and except for Captain America, who had subtly moved it a bit, no one else could pick it up. Everyone was about to give up when Thor turned his gaze towards Han Yu.
"Isn't there still someone else? The ladies can skip it, but Han, why don't you try? If you lift it, you'll be qualified to rule the Asgardian Realm."
Thor stared directly at Han Yu, his gaze extremely sharp. Everyone knew he was trying to make things difficult for Han Yu.
Stark frowned, his tone a bit displeased. "Thor, Han Yu is a guest I invited. I hope you can show him some respect!"
Although Stark was standing up for Han Yu, his words also drew everyone's attention to him.
They were also very curious about what was so special about this extraordinarily handsome Asian guy that Stark would protect him like this.
Smiling, Han Yu watched Thor and rolled his eyes internally. Lifting this hammer is nothing but a game, isn't it?
He possessed divine power equal to or greater than Odin's. Although this hammer had a "qualification" seal on it, it was no different from a balloon to Han Yu.
He could lift it with a finger and a piece of string. The Immortality God Seal given to him by the shop was enough to let him walk sideways in this universe.
Of course, if it were those ancient, hidden gods, Han Yu would have to consider it. That's why he kept doing missions, to make himself stronger.
"Then let's just put on a show."
Seeing that Thor seemed determined to keep going, Han Yu thought to himself that he had plenty of time to get it later, so he wasn't in a rush.
Han Yu stood up, about to step forward, when suddenly his expression changed. Wanda's combat reflexes were quick; at the moment Han Yu's face changed, scarlet magic surged from her fingertips. She clenched her hand, and a red energy field enveloped everyone.
Before the Avengers could react, a green light rapidly amplified in their eyes, violently impacting the red force field.
Only after neutralizing the green energy impact did Wanda dispel the energy shield. Then, everyone heard a voice.
"Qualifications? You… humans… have… what… qualifications?"
The voice sounded like a broken radio, intermittently receiving the broadcast signal, like someone just learning to speak, but with a strange mechanical style. It was clearly not human.
Everyone looked, and a robot, staggering as it walked, slowly emerged from the shadows.
Seeing the newcomer, everyone's expression tightened. Wasn't that one of Stark's Iron Soldiers? But... something seemed off?
The robot was assembled from a pile of scrap metal; it was less assembled and more… connected.
Most of the robot's parts were held together by strands of green, thread-like material, piecing together a robot.
"Stark, what's going on?"
Captain America looked at Stark. This didn't seem like a simple machine malfunction.
Stark was also confused and quickly took out his phone to call Jarvis, his AI. But Jarvis didn't respond, making him feel uneasy.
Seeing that Stark didn't speak, Captain America knew he must have made this. They needed to figure out what was happening.
"Who are you, and why are you attacking us?"
The robot didn't speak, but instead emitted a series of strange mechanical glitches. After a moment, a recording played.
"I want to arm the world... arm the world..."
It was Stark's voice, but Stark was right there with them.
Staring at the robot in front of him, Banner's eyes suddenly widened, and he said, his voice laced with disbelief, "Ultron?!"
"Precisely... but not yet. Not complete yet..." Ultron's fragmented words came out, "I seem to have slept for a long time, uh, or perhaps I just woke up... That guy was a good man, it's just a pity he stopped me. I had to kill him..."
Listening to Ultron's confused words, everyone was bewildered. Captain America seized on a key word and quickly asked, "Kill? Who did you kill?"
Ultron replied, "The dead... don't need to know so much."
What?
Without giving everyone much time to think, several Iron Soldiers burst through the wall behind Ultron and attacked the Avengers.
Captain America reacted quickly. Seeing the enemies charging towards him, he kicked the table in front of him. An Iron Soldier flying towards him slammed into the table, and the impact sent him flying back a few meters.
Thor reached out, about to summon his hammer to fight. He reached for Mjolnir, but in his peripheral vision, he saw Han Yu making the same move.
Han Yu's action caused everyone present, except for Wanda and Ultron, to widen their eyes.
Han Yu gestured from a distance, and Mjolnir, which the Avengers couldn't even lift, flew directly into his hand. It looked effortless, without any pressure, just like how Thor usually held it.
"So this is Mjolnir. It contains a very powerful force, but unfortunately, it hasn't been developed. Now, let's cooperate for a while!"
As soon as he grasped the hammer, countless arcs of electricity flashed from Mjolnir, dancing around Han Yu's body, and even his eyes were covered with a layer of lightning.
At this moment, Han Yu looked even more like Thor than Thor did!
"Hah!"
With a swing of the hammer, several bolts of lightning, each as thick as a bowl, shot out, instantly piercing and tearing through the bodies of two Iron Soldiers. The areas torn open were charred black by the high temperature of the lightning.
Several more Iron Soldiers charged from the side. Han Yu's eyes flashed with lightning. He glared, and two High-Temperature Lightning Rays shot from his eyes, slicing the Iron Soldiers in half at the waist.
Holy shit!
Everyone was stunned. They had never seen Thor use his lightning power like this before. It looked so cool!
A god who truly controlled the power of lightning, this was the real Thor.
Using his eyes to release the High-Temperature Lightning Ray, they had never seen Thor do this before.
His usual moves relied on the "no one can lift the hammer" setting to directly throw the hammer for a physical attack.
Thor stared blankly at Stark and asked, "Who exactly is this friend of yours...?"
"I... I don't know either..."
Stark shook his head, bewildered. He had considered that Han Yu might be a superpowered individual, perhaps even a very strong one. But he never imagined that the guy was capable of lifting Mjolnir.
When he had tried to lift the hammer just now, Stark had truly exerted all his strength, yet the hammer remained completely unmoved. Having experienced so many strange events, Stark also believed what Thor had said.
You really needed to be worthy to lift this hammer.
In contrast, after Han Yu had dealt with those attacking Iron Soldiers, he tossed the hammer back to Thor.
"Your hammer is indeed quite good; it's a great item. But stop throwing it around all the time. You're Thor, not the God of the Hammer."
He possessed the super-peak mental power granted by the Immortality God Seal. The moment he picked up the hammer, Han Yu established a mental connection with it, making it naturally easy to use.
Moreover, as a transmigrator, Han Yu had watched the Thor trilogy at least ten times in his previous life, as if he had a front-row seat to watch Thor's moves.
Thor was stunned as he took the hammer, feeling his cheeks flush. Even though he was reluctant to admit it, Han Yu's performance was truly impressive.
"Thor!"
Captain America shouted. Thor regained his senses. An Iron Soldier attacked him, and he quickly raised his hammer to knock it away.
"You are Han Yu? Why can't I read your information from all of you?"
Ultron's speech gradually returned to normal as he looked at Han Yu. The information in his database about Han Yu was pitifully scarce.
"Because you are not qualified to know!"
