"There are still two cards left… one-third means I'm still short by one."
Han Yu rubbed his chin, quickly accepting the new parameters the Shop System had given him. Muttering to himself, he said, "The system added a 'Generation One' after the Avengers. That must mean there'll be a second generation later. The current 'First Generation' should refer to the founding members of the Avengers. I'll start by finding Thor and Banner—those two have the most valuable abilities."
He didn't choose Stark. If Stark's card were entered, the ability granted would probably be his genius-level intellect, while the Iron Man armor—an external item—wouldn't come with it.
That left only three suitable options: Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk.
The others' powers weren't useless per se—but for Han Yu, they simply didn't serve any real purpose.
"Forget it. I'll shelve this for now. No need to rush."
He stored the cards away, deciding to first use the blood sample Captain America had given him. The Green Lantern energy preserved it, but too long and the blood might lose its vitality.
Entering his workshop, Han Yu commanded the Shop System:"Spend three upgrade points to exchange for a single-use, non-storable item—name: Pure Lotus Demon Flame!"
As his words fell, Han Yu raised his right hand. A milky-white flame rose from his palm, and with its appearance, the air around him grew scorching hot in an instant.
"Haven't used a Heavenly Flame in a while. Still feels perfectly in sync with me."
Watching the swirling Pure Lotus Demon Flame dance above his palm, Han Yu smiled faintly. This flame came from the same world as Xiao Yan—from the continent of Heavenly Flames. Its outer layer glowed milky white, while its inner heart shimmered pink.
Only when it burned at its highest temperature would it turn completely pink. Han Yu only used it for forging or for especially delicate work that demanded extreme precision in flame control.
"Alright, let's refine Captain America's blood first—extract the impurities and draw out the essence. I'll need to create two doses of Super Soldier Serum and enough blood to support a living body. Looks like this is going to take a while."
He smiled bitterly. Using the Captain's blood, Han Yu planned to synthesize the Super Soldier Serum—partly for Quicksilver and Wanda, who still had ordinary human bodies, so they could reach the same level as Steve Rogers.
And partly because Han Yu wanted to create a human body for Ultron.
The robot had even gone out of his way to construct a digestive system—proof of how much he longed to experience human life, food and drink included. But those "flavors" were only data-driven feedback, not the real thing.
So Han Yu thought—why not make him a human body? Better to be a man of flesh and blood than a cold machine.
He raised his free hand, and a small green-glowing vial appeared. Inside was Captain America's blood. With a light push, the vial floated toward the Pure Lotus Demon Flame.
The moment the bottle touched the fire, the Green Lantern energy dispersed, and the Pure Lotus Demon Flame caught the floating blood just in time, preventing it from falling.
Protected by Han Yu's Undying God Seal mental power, the blood didn't vaporize the instant it entered the flames.
Han Yu could feel the blood's transformation within the fire. Carefully, he controlled the flame to burn away impurities, his vast spiritual power spreading like a storm to guide the purification with microscopic precision.
Meanwhile, in the computer room, Wanda—who had been playing GTA with Ultron and Quicksilver—suddenly turned toward the workshop. Her hands froze mid-action, prompting both men to look at her.
"What's wrong?" one of them asked.
Wanda frowned slightly. "Han Yu's doing something… I can feel a huge wave of spiritual energy coming from the workshop, along with an incredibly high temperature. If it weren't for the protection of my Chaos Magic, I think just sensing that fire might've burned my soul."
Her words sent a chill down both Ultron and Quicksilver's spines.
Han Yu had a flame that could burn souls? Just imagining it gave them goosebumps.
"This man is something else," Ultron muttered. "Who knows what other strange things are hidden in this shop? If he's using something that powerful, he must be doing some serious work. Best not to disturb him. If he wants to tell us, he will—if not, asking won't change anything."
They shrugged, resumed their game, and continued chatting idly about what Han Yu might be doing.
If they could've seen him now, they'd have felt utterly slapped in the face.
Han Yu wasn't working hard at all.
He had activated the workshop's environment simulator, turning the room into a sunny beach scene. Wearing beach shorts, he was lying on a recliner under the sun, occasionally sipping from a chilled drink.
Behind him, the real workshop remained active—two completely opposite scenes overlapping perfectly.
The Pure Lotus Demon Flame floated steadily in midair, still refining Captain America's blood.
"Let's see… Snow Lotus Grass for rapid blood regeneration, and Clear North Pill for cleansing the marrow and bones—yeah, these two will do."
Lying on his chair, Han Yu swiped through the Shop's catalog under the category Blood and Bone Rebirth. It contained countless heavenly herbs from various cultivation worlds. Anything he wanted, he could find there.
"Oh right—Brother Yan once gave me a puppet he said was pretty useful… what was it called again? Ah, the Heavenly Demon Puppet! Its body is incredibly durable—perfect for Ultron's new vessel!"
He opened the search bar and typed "Heavenly Demon Puppet." Instantly, the item appeared, with a note beside it reading One free use. It was indeed the one Xiao Yan had gifted him earlier.
Originally, Xiao Yan had wanted to give him several, but Han Yu refused. His own strength was already overwhelming; he didn't need bodyguards. In the end, just to humor his friend, he accepted one—and never expected he'd actually find a use for it.
He immediately summoned the Heavenly Demon Puppet—a man's body about 1.9 meters tall, built to perfection. The chiseled muscles were enough to make even Han Yu envious. But its eyes were empty, soulless—a lifeless shell awaiting command.
Its skin was golden-tinged, the mark of its nature. Among the Earth, Human, and Heavenly tiers of Demon Puppets, this one was the highest.
"Perfect. You'll do nicely."
Satisfied, Han Yu patted the puppet's shoulder and tossed it into the Pure Lotus Demon Flame. A separate cluster of fire enveloped it, while he occasionally added medicinal herbs that promoted bone growth and blood fusion.
As each ingredient melted, it merged seamlessly into the puppet's body—integrating completely.
