Ye Yin watched the resentment points rack up, knowing his simple action had caused quite a stir. But resentment was a good thing. If they had a problem with it, they could try and hit him.

Liu Erlong shot Ye Yin an extremely resentful glare. "Why are there still side effects? Don't only your Curses have side effects? You gave me a Blessing!"
Ye Yin rolled his eyes. "I never said only the Curses have them. Both the Blessings and the Curses have side effects; all of my Spirit Abilities do. I already told you that when I asked if you were sure you wanted to try it, but you were in such a hurry. You can't blame me for this."
Liu Erlong looked like she wanted to strangle him. "You didn't say anything like that, and you didn't ask!"

"Sister Erlong, you should focus on the changes in yourself," Ye Yin said, changing the subject. "The Spirit Ability's main effect is what's important."
Liu Erlong gave Ye Yin one last fierce glare before closing her eyes and carefully sensing the changes in her body. But she felt nothing.
"What's going on with your ability?" she asked, confused. "Why does your support-type Spirit Ability have no support effect at all?"
Ye Yin smiled slightly. "The Mental Blessing is similar to the Mental Curse. It only triggers under special circumstances."
Mental Blessing: After casting on a target, the target receives a special buff when a keyword is triggered.
Liu Erlong's Buff: When hearing loud shouts, her spirit power recovery speed is greatly increased.
"Roar!" Ye Yin suddenly let out a deafening roar that sounded like a fierce tiger descending a mountain.
The sound echoed through the clearing. Instantly, Liu Erlong felt her spirit power begin to recover at an astonishing rate.
"So that's how it is!" she exclaimed in surprise. "It only triggers when I hear shouting?"
Ye Yin nodded. "That's right. All of my abilities require specific conditions to activate."
Liu Erlong was extremely shocked by the speed of her spirit power recovery, but she still gently shook her head. "Although the Blessing's effect is very strong, I feel it's still far less useful than the Curse. The effect of the Mental Curse is truly devastating. If you combine all those effects, like what happened earlier… that's just outrageous."
The rest of the group nodded in unison, completely agreeing with her. Once hit by a Mental Curse, there was no need for Ye Yin to even fight; his opponents would just destroy each other.
"Alright!" Flender shouted. "Since Ye Yin's fourth spirit ring is done, let's hurry and find suitable rings for the others. The sooner we find them, the better."
The group packed up their things and set off once again to find suitable Spirit Beasts. This time, however, it was much more difficult. Unlike Ye Yin, who could use any ten-thousand-year Spirit Beast, the others needed specific types that were compatible with their Spirits. For two consecutive days, they found nothing suitable.
"Dean, I have an idea," Ye Yin finally said. "It's just a little dangerous."
"If you had a way, why didn't you say so sooner?" Flender said impatiently. "What is it?"
Ye Yin chuckled. "In the Sunset Forest, there's Senior Dugu Bo's herb garden. It's filled with special herbs. If I take one out, it will attract a large number of Spirit Beasts. However, I can't be sure what kind of beasts will show up. It's very possible they'll be too powerful for us to handle, and their numbers will certainly be large."
Flender suddenly understood. It wasn't that Ye Yin had held back the idea; it was that the method was incredibly risky. One wrong move and their entire group could be wiped out. Even with several Spirit Saints, they would be nothing but dinner if they attracted a hundred-thousand-year-old Spirit Beast.
"However," Ye Yin continued, "we can use the poison array around Senior Dugu Bo's herb garden for protection. We'll be inside the array, and the Spirit Beasts outside won't dare to force their way in. This way, we can pick and choose the ones we want. Additionally, I've developed an upgraded Flying God Claw. As long as we select a target, I can use it to forcibly pull the Spirit Beast inside. At that rate, everyone will be able to find a suitable spirit ring."

Upgraded Flying God Claw? Tang San thought, shocked. Isn't that my technique? I haven't even revealed it yet. How does Ye Yin know about it? And where did he get the upgraded content from the Mysterious Heaven Treasure Record? Did he research it himself? That would be too much of a coincidence!
"Good!" Flender agreed immediately, sold on the plan.
Yu Xiaogang, however, held up a hand to stop everyone. "That is the private territory of a Titled Douluo. If he's there, we can ask for his permission. But if he's not, and we rashly enter his herb garden, are you sure Dugu Bo won't get angry?"
Ye Yin waved his hand casually. "Don't worry. We won't enter the garden itself, we're just borrowing the poison array on the outer perimeter. He'll give me that much face. Besides, the interior of the garden is full of deadly poisons. Ordinary people can't enter. If the Grandmaster went in and stayed in the poison for more than fifteen minutes, I'm pretty sure he'd turn into flower fertilizer."
Yu Xiaogang's body trembled slightly.

With a plan in place, everyone immediately set off. Under Ye Yin's lead, they headed toward the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well located in the center of the Sunset Forest. Since they were already deep within the forest, it took them less than half a day to arrive at the outer edge of the poison array set up by Dugu Bo.
Ye Yin took out a bottle of antidote pills and passed them out. "Two pills per person. Each one lasts for a day and can only resist the poison on the very edge of the array. The deeper you go, the more terrifying the poison becomes. Do not go more than ten meters past the barrier's edge."
Everyone took the pills and, with some apprehension, stepped through the emerald green barrier. When they felt no ill effects, they finally relaxed.
"Xiao Wu, you and I will go into the herb garden," Ye Yin said. "There's a special herb in there, and I need your help to retrieve it."
Xiao Wu agreed without hesitation and followed Ye Yin deeper into the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well. The others didn't think much of it.
Upon entering the garden proper, Xiao Wu was instantly dazzled by the astonishing sight. "Is this the herb garden? It's too beautiful! I never thought that fierce-looking old man would have such skill."
Ye Yin smiled. This was the work of the Water and Fire Dragon Kings, not Dugu Bo.
"Xiao Wu," he said, his voice low. "You can condense your fourth spirit ring here yourself. When we go back out, just say that you accidentally found a ten-thousand-year Spirit Beast that had forced its way inside."
