Chapter 210 - 210: Davis Becomes Davis

Dai Weisi trembled with a burning rage, his face contorting as he raised his hand high, looking as if he were about to strike her! Despite the threat, Zhu Zhuyun did not flinch. She fearlessly raised her head and looked him directly in the eyes.

"Your Highness, what else can you do besides raging in your own incompetence?" she asked, her voice cold. "Think back to the Continental Tournament. If it hadn't been for you—"

"Shut up!" Dai Weisi roared. His most painful and humiliating scar had been brutally ripped open, and his self-control finally snapped. Yet, even as his temper flared, his raised hand failed to fall. When he looked into Zhu Zhuyun's eyes, he saw more than just determination; he saw a flash of pity and mockery that chilled him. It was as if she were telling him that he had already lost the war.

"Good! Good! Good!" Dai Weisi repeated the word three times, his face shifting from a deep red to a sickly green, and then to a ghostly white. Suddenly, he spat out a mouthful of blood, his body swaying as if he might collapse at any moment. The weight of the extreme anger, the feeling of betrayal, and the sheer humiliation felt like they were making his heart and lungs explode inside his chest.

Resentment from Dai Weisi +99!

"Dai Mubai! It's all because of Dai Mubai!" He shoved away an attendant who hurried forward to help him, his eyes now filled with nothing but a wild, maniacal intent to kill. "I'll kill him! I have to kill him with my own two hands!"

Once he was back inside the safety of his mansion, Dai Weisi paced the floor like a trapped, starving beast. He knew that normal methods were no longer enough to fix his failing reputation or his status. He needed power—absolute power. He needed the kind of strength that could crush Dai Mubai and tear him apart in a direct, head-on fight.

"Your Highness," a trusted aide said, stepping forward cautiously. "Maybe... we could try some unconventional methods? For instance, there are secret medicines that can greatly boost a person's strength in a very short time. I've heard the black market might have such things."

A terrifying light suddenly flashed in Dai Weisi's eyes. "Yes! A secret medicine! I don't care what it costs, find it for me! Go, right now!"

It wasn't long before special channels delivered a mysterious black pill into his hands. Rumors said the pill came from an ancient ruin and was capable of waking all of a person's hidden potential, increasing their Spirit Power several times over for a short period. The person who delivered the medicine gave a quiet warning, mentioning that while the power was immense, the side effects were completely unknown. He told the Prince to use it with great caution.

However, Dai Weisi's mind was already gone, consumed by his own despair and hatred. He didn't care about side effects anymore. He stared at the black pill, which seemed to give off an ominous, dark aura. To him, it looked like his very last straw of hope. What he didn't know was that this pill was actually a "gift" from Ye Yin. It had been carefully placed in his path through the connections of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School.

This was a powerful medicine from the system itself. The boost would only last for exactly one hour. Once that hour passed, his Spirit Power would vanish entirely, leaving him weak and at the mercy of everyone around him. And, most importantly, there was a very special surprise waiting for him.

After he got the medicine, Dai Weisi didn't waste any time. He issued a formal challenge to Dai Mubai. He demanded a public, one-on-one death match, following the ancient rules of the Star Luo Imperial Family. In this duel, the winner would take everything, and the loser would lose their life and honor. The news shocked the entire Imperial Capital. Everyone knew this was Dai Weisi's final, desperate attempt to take back what he felt was his.

Dai Mubai accepted the challenge without any hesitation. To help him out, Ye Yin gave Dai Mubai a special item, allowing him to roll a set of lucky dice before the fight began.

The day of the duel arrived, and the Royal Training Ground was chosen as the location. The stands were completely packed with people. The Star Luo Emperor, various government officials, military leaders, nobles, and representatives from different Sects were all there to watch. Zhu Zhuyun sat with the Zhu family. Her face looked calm, but deep in her eyes, there was a mix of complicated feelings. Meanwhile, Ye Yin and his group watched from a private box belonging to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, waiting for the show to start.

Down in the arena, Dai Weisi and Dai Mubai stood across from each other. Dai Weisi's eyes were bloodshot, and his aura was messy because of his rage. He stared at his brother like he was looking at his worst enemy. Dai Mubai, however, looked very different. He was calm, his eyes were firm, and he had a steady, composed aura.

"Dai Mubai, today is the day I kill you!" Dai Weisi screamed. Without waiting another second, he swallowed the black pill.

As soon as it hit his stomach, the pill turned into a violent flood of energy that rushed through his entire body. "Ugh, ahhh!" He let out a roar that sounded both painful and powerful. The veins on his body started to bulge, his muscles grew tight, and his whole body seemed to get much larger.

His aura, which was usually at the peak of a Spirit King ($Level 50-60$), began to skyrocket. It shot past Spirit Emperor ($Level 60-70$) and reached the level of a Spirit Saint ($Level 70-80$). The pressure of his Spirit Power became so thick that people in the stands started to turn pale from the force of it.

"This strength... it's incredible!" Dai Weisi felt the power rushing through him and let out a mad, confident laugh. "Dai Mubai! Get ready to die!"

He roared again as his Spirit appeared behind him. With a force that looked like it could crush anything in its path, he charged. The battle began instantly. With the medicine in his system, Dai Weisi's speed and strength were on a completely different level. He attacked like a violent storm, forcing Dai Mubai to back away. Dai Mubai could only survive by using his White Tiger Barrier and moving as quickly as he could.

To the crowd, it looked like Dai Weisi had already won. His supporters in the stands began to cheer loudly. This made him even more arrogant. He laughed and insulted his brother while his attacks became even more brutal. But Dai Mubai didn't panic. He stayed focused, retreating when he had to. Even though he looked like he was losing, he was actually making sure to avoid any fatal hits.

He was just waiting. Ye Yin had told him the secret: the medicine would only work for one hour.

As the hour came to an end, Dai Weisi started to get anxious. Even with all this power, he couldn't seem to land a finishing blow on Dai Mubai. Then, suddenly, he felt that massive power start to disappear, like water draining away. A wave of extreme weakness hit him. His power level dropped fast—down from Spirit Saint, past Spirit Emperor, and back to Spirit King. Soon, he couldn't feel even a tiny bit of Spirit Power left in his body.

"No! This can't be happening!" Dai Weisi looked at his hands, his face turning white with fear. The medicine had worn off, and the side effects were starting.

But then, something even more shocking happened. He felt his body beginning to change. His throat became thinner, his skin grew soft and delicate, and his bones made strange cracking noises. His whole body began to shrink. Right there, in front of everyone, the First Prince of Star Luo transformed into a woman.

You could still see some of his old features in the face, but the soft skin, the curves, and the slender frame were clearly that of a female. The entire arena went dead silent. Everyone was frozen, unable to believe what they were seeing.

The Star Luo Emperor stood up from his throne, his eyes wide with shock. Zhu Zhuyun covered her mouth with her hands, her eyes filled with horror. Even Dai Mubai was stunned. He knew there would be side effects, but he never expected something like this.

"What... what is happening to me?!"

As Tang San watched this happen from the side, a bad memory suddenly came back to him. He thought of that beast, Ma Hongjun!
