"Save it. There are too many like you—showing up time and again to ask about Junior Sister Liana," one of the peak disciples sneered.

"Don't flatter yourself. Who is Junior Sister Liana, and who are you? Still dreaming of chasing after her? Just go home and sleep early," another added disdainfully.

The two disciples crossed their arms, eyes cold and lips curling into condescending smiles.

Ethan had seen such attitudes before from countless such disciples and his patience was thinning.

A low voice whispered close to one of the peak disciple's ears, "Young man, it's unwise to get angry."

Startled, the disciple spun around only to see Ethan standing just behind him, a faint smile on his lips.

Ethan's hands firm on his shoulders, he said calmly, "I suggest you take a good look at yourself, and by good look I mean take a good look at your own status. Otherwise, you'll find yourself offending the wrong people."

He gave a light pat and stepped back, turning away with measured grace.
