"Your Myriad Treasure Pavilion, the Blood Tavern, and the Ashenvale family are all famous forces. Our little City Lord's Mansion does not dare to interfere in your affairs."
Skyler's voice was calm but carried the weight of authority as he landed gracefully from a nearby roof and stood before the representatives of the three factions.
"As long as you don't harm innocent people in the city, you are free to fight as you wish. Our City Lord's Mansion will never show favoritism or intervene."
Skyler smiled politely and bowed his hands in respect to the powerful figures surrounding him.
Yet inwardly, a sneer crept to his lips.
"Hmph, little girl," he thought of Lana, "you still want to pin the blame on me by asking for my help?"
Lana was undeniably talented and strong, but Skyler considered it presumptuous to think he could be so easily manipulated.
A playful smile flickered on Lana's lips.
