Chapter 39 - Episode 39:Gauri fights goons

Gauri's eyes narrowed as the five goons approached, their menacing grins and flexing muscles a clear indication of their intentions.

She swiftly pulled Charvi close, her hand tightening protectively around her sister's.

"Bring it on," Gauri muttered, her voice low and confident.

The goons, fueled by adrenaline, charged toward her all at once. But she was ready. With swift kicks and precise punches, she floored the first two, her movements a blur of sharp precision.

As the remaining three closed in, Gauri spun into the air, executing a perfect backflip that left them momentarily stunned—while keeping Charvi safely behind her.

The goons regained their footing, but Gauri was relentless. She delivered a flurry of rapid-fire punches to the third, knocking him out cold, before dodging the fourth's clumsy attack. With a sharp kick, she sent him crashing to the floor.

The fifth goon, eyes blazing with malice, yanked out a gun and aimed it directly at Gauri.

Her breath caught. Charvi's face paled as she clutched her sister's hand tighter.

Before the goon could fire, Charvi snatched a stone from the ground and hurled it with all her might. The rock struck the weapon, knocking it sideways. In that split second, Gauri lunged forward, snatched the gun from his grip, and slammed it against his head. The man collapsed instantly, unconscious.

The weapon clattered to the floor. Gauri's chest heaved as she stood tall, her eyes sweeping over the fallen men. The fight was over.

Meanwhile, across the courtyard, Vihaan stood tall, his eyes gleaming with satisfaction as he cuffed Dianaswari's wrists behind her back.

"You're under arrest for drug trafficking," he declared, his tone sharp with authority.

Other officers, including Harsh, secured the remaining dealers into the waiting police van. Vihaan allowed himself a cold smile as he looked down at the furious brothel owner.

"Looks like you'll be taking a little vacation… behind bars," he said icily. "Your reign ends tonight, Dianaswari—and I'm the one shutting it down."

Her face twisted in rage, but Vihaan only jerked his chin at Harsh. "Take her away."

"Yes, sir," Harsh replied, gripping Dianaswari's arm firmly and dragging her toward the van.

Vihaan stood with arms folded, watching as the doors slammed shut. Another criminal empire had fallen—by his hands.

Vihaan's phone rang, and he answered, expecting a routine call. But Yug's voice was laced with urgency and concern.

"Bhaiya, something's happened," Yug said, his words tumbling out in a rush. "Bhaiya… Chachi's been hurt. We don't know what to do."

Vihaan's face turned pale as Yug's words sank in. "What happened to Mom?" he demanded, his voice sharp with panic.

Yug's words spilled out in a rush, and Vihaan's worry deepened into alarm. Without another second wasted, he ended the call and rushed off, desperate to get home to his mother.

Meanwhile, Charvi's heart ached as an inexplicable heaviness washed over her. Her vision blurred, and before she could call out, her body went limp.

"Charvi!" Gauri gasped, panicking as she caught her sister just in time before she hit the ground. Her hands trembled as she shook her gently. "Open your eyes, please… don't do this to me!"

Gauri's eyes welled with tears, fear tightening in her chest. She cradled Charvi, desperately trying to wake her up, her voice breaking as she whispered, "Stay with me, Charvi… I'm right here."

Gathering all her strength, Gauri lifted Charvi into her arms and hurried toward her cab. Her heart pounded in fear, but her determination burned stronger than ever.

She yanked the cab door open and carefully placed Charvi inside, adjusting her head gently against the seat. Stroking her sister's hair, Gauri's voice trembled as she whispered, "I won't let anything happen to you, Charvi… I promise, no harm will ever touch you as long as I'm here."

Wiping her tears, she climbed behind the wheel, her trembling hands gripping it tight. With a deep breath, she started the engine, the cab roaring to life.

Without a second's delay, Gauri sped off into the streets, her eyes darting between the road ahead and her unconscious sister beside her. The only thought in her mind: Get Charvi to the hospital… before it's too late.

Meanwhile, both Vihaan and Gauri found themselves trapped in the same endless line of honking vehicles.

Inside her cab, Gauri's hands shook as she clutched Charvi's limp form. Sweat beaded on her forehead, her heart thundering as she whispered again and again, "Hold on, Charvi… just hold on…" Every second felt like an eternity, and the unmoving traffic was choking her hope.

A few lanes away, Vihaan sat in his car, his jaw tight, worry etched across his face. His mother's condition gnawed at his mind, every tick of the clock making his pulse race faster. "What happened to her? Is she… okay?" he muttered under his breath, his fists clenched around the steering wheel.

The frustration and fear reached a breaking point. With a sharp inhale, Vihaan yanked the silver bracelet from his wrist. His eyes gleamed faintly as he whispered an incantation, ancient power rippling through the air.

A surge of energy spread outward like a shockwave. One by one, the vehicles jolted forward as if compelled by an unseen force, the gridlock dissolving into sudden order. Drivers blinked in confusion but pressed on, leaving the road miraculously clear.

Gauri blinked in shock, but wasted no time. She pressed the accelerator, racing ahead with Charvi, desperate to reach the hospital.

On the opposite side, Vihaan sped off in another direction, his mind solely on his mother.

Two paths, driven by desperation, separating them once again.
