It wasn't until late evening, when he was too exhausted to move, that Wuchen finally ceased his training. He collapsed onto the ground like a vegetable, gazing up at the star-studded night sky.

Though his face was as weary as withered tree bark, devoid of vitality, Wuchen still managed to force a smile.

"Ling'er, thank you."

Squinting, he stared blankly at the night sky. A cool evening breeze gently brushed over Wuchen, ruffling his disheveled dark hair.

In his mind, Wuchen offered Ling'er his sincere gratitude.

Ling'er was, of course, the owner of the mysterious female voice that had appeared in Wuchen's mind half a month ago. The ability to refine Chakra now was entirely thanks to her.

"No need for thanks. As the system's consciousness itself, I am merely your possession." Ling'er's voice was placid, though she tried to mask the slight emotional stir deep within her.

"Is that so? Regardless, I still have to thank you. Even if you are a so-called system consciousness, existing merely to serve others like a machine, I still thank you."

A gentle smile spread across his lips. For the first time since being abandoned, Wuchen's voice, which had always been cold and despairing, showed the emotional fluctuations typical of a human.

In the past, Wuchen had always seemed to be living like a zombie.

"Thank you, Ling'er, for giving me a second life..."

His gaze solidified, and a sudden, inexplicable surge of power coursed through his body, instantly filling his weary frame with renewed energy. Just as Wuchen, now standing, was about to resume his rigorous ninjutsu training, Ling'er's placid voice echoed.

"It's been ten years, hasn't it? There's a lottery chance every five years, and since you're ten years old this year, you have two opportunities."

"Lottery?"

After a moment of愣怔, Wuchen asked with anticipation, "Can I draw things from other worlds too?"

"Theoretically, yes, but it depends on luck," Ling'er calmly stated.

Everything depended on fate. The system contained a myriad of things, encompassing everything from theoretical concepts to bizarre items from the real world. What a host could draw depended entirely on their luck.

"Do you want to draw now?"

"Yes."

Taking a deep breath, Wuchen's voice was resolute, without any hesitation.

Although Wuchen could now cultivate Chakra and had made some progress in ninjutsu thanks to the emergence of System Ling'er, he was still pitifully weak. The Third Great Ninja War was currently ongoing, and the Third Hokage had on several occasions urged Uchiha Fugaku, Wuchen's nominal father, to dispatch ninja support to the war.

Based on his observations over the years, Wuchen believed it wasn't just likely, but absolutely certain, that his nominal father would send Wuchen, this "father-discrediting" son, to the battlefield as cannon fodder.

In the ninja world, so-called family affection was often thin. Uchiha Fugaku was still quite young, in the prime of his life, with excellent physical capabilities. He could easily have another litter of children, so he wouldn't worry about lacking heirs.

"In that case, let the lottery begin!"

As System Ling'er's voice faded, Wuchen's field of vision, or rather, the world before his eyes, suddenly transformed.

"This is the system's inner world."

The deep blue space gave off a refreshing sensation, with dreamy stars dotting the endless sky, a vast and breathtaking expanse.

Before Wuchen, an enormous lottery wheel appeared, marked with various abilities from myriad worlds, so numerous they were dazzling.

Suddenly, the lottery wheel began to spin, captivating Wuchen's gaze.

"It stopped... it's the Rinnegan... no, it's spinning again..." His excited mood instantly plummeted, Wuchen twitched, utterly dejected.

3, 2, 1. The massive wheel gradually slowed to a halt, drawing Wuchen's attention.

The indicator landed on a uniquely shaped fruit, its surface covered in strange, irregular patterns, giving it an odd appearance. However, the four large characters marked on it instantly caused Wuchen's breathing to grow heavy.

Glint-Glint Fruit!

"Ling'er, if I eat this Devil Fruit, will I become a 'light human' like Kizaru from One Piece?" Wuchen asked after swallowing hard. Perhaps the Glint-Glint Fruit wasn't as powerful as the Rinnegan, but for his current self, it could be a life-saver.

"Naturally. Moreover, this fruit, much like the system itself, has escaped the will of the heavens and earth, circumventing the restrictions of the Heavenly Dao. Even if it touches water or is attacked by Seastone, it will not lose its power," Ling'er eloquently explained, her indifferent tone surprisingly carrying a hint of pride and self-assurance.

A Devil Fruit unaffected by the sea—this fruit before him was the only one of its kind in the world!

"So, this Devil Fruit has no weaknesses..." Hearing this, Wuchen merely nodded silently. A Devil Fruit unrestricted by the sea would truly become invincible in this world.

Especially a powerful Logia-type Devil Fruit like the Glint-Glint Fruit. Even though he still had many flaws, Wuchen absolutely believed he would use it better than that perverted uncle Kizaru!

"Do you wish to continue the lottery?"

The soft, delicate voice sounded, bringing Wuchen back from his infinite musings.

"Continue the lottery!"

The circular wheel spun rapidly again, its countless skills making Wuchen swallow his saliva. Yet, the indicator always swept past quickly, showing no signs of stopping, leaving Wuchen sighing in his heart.

After a long moment, the wheel's speed gradually decreased, until it finally came to a halt.

The ability the indicator pointed to was one Wuchen unexpectedly recognized, and was very familiar with, for that distinctive blood-red eye was none other than the Uchiha Clan's Sharingan.

This time, what he won was the Three Tomoe Sharingan!
