Snow White held her breath and stared at her reflection in the mirror, taking in the details of her appearance: wide eyes, parted lips, pale skin, and hands clasped around the edges of her shawl. A kiss? Could Grimilde, the Queen of Arran, have kissed her?
"W-what?" the princess stammered, approaching the woman with her back to her: "Is it telling the truth? Grimilde?"
"I..." she began, but then stopped and took another sip of wine, then set the empty glass on the table. "...I thought it was right to follow the instructions in the letter. What Aron would have done. What I did is unforgivable, and you have no idea how sorry I am for violating you like that, while you were unaware, vulnerable... while you were sleeping peacefully..." Her words poured out all the resentment and anger she felt for herself, and Snow White couldn't stand it. She opened her mouth again, moistening her lips, and stared at the queen's rigid shoulders and her beautiful, long blonde hair, longing to run her fingers through it, to feel its softness. She bit her lower lip and tried not to explode with emotion, at least not yet. Meanwhile, Grimilde was still begging for forgiveness and expressing her contempt for what she had done, revealing the torture Edgar had endured, the pain of hearing his desperate screams, and the terrible satisfaction she had felt at the end of the demonic ritual, when Astrael had possessed the advisor. Her whirlwind of negative, toxic emotions and thoughts was abruptly interrupted when she heard Snow White speak aloud:
"Mirror... who makes my heart beat so rapidly and makes me long for eternity by their side? Who has captured my every thought?"
Grimilde quickly turned, finally gazing at the princess, and waited, holding her breath for the magic mirror's answer, which was soon to come: "Grimilde... Grimilde is her name..."
The princess smiled sweetly and raised a hand toward her, opening her palm upward and wiggling her fingers in a beckoning gesture, inviting the queen to come closer. Grimilde, drawn by the princess's magnetism, hesitantly advanced, still reeling from the mirror's words, incredulous and speechless. And then there was Snow White, staring at her with a gaze so lovely it made her legs tremble, and she was beautiful and so seductive in her simplicity. Could it be true? Yet, the mirror wasn't lying, it couldn't have lied, right?
"Grimilde?" Those full, red lips called her name, striking her deeply, shaking her weak, desperate heart. The queen felt she had lost, but that defeat wasn't bitter, it wasn't painful, it had a sweet scent and a captivating smile, warm hands and deep, dark eyes. "Snow White..."
"Grimilde," she whispered, gathering her into her arms, and they both abandoned themselves to the warmth of their bodies, yearning for affection and comfort. The queen placed her hands on Snow White's hips, then ran them up her back, reaching her black hair and caressing it. The princess shivered and brought her mouth close to the blonde's ear: "Did you think I wouldn't notice? Don't be embarrassed... I've been harboring inappropriate thoughts for a long time."
"Darling... are you sure? You don't owe me anything, I saved you because it was the right thing to—"
"Shh." Snow White raised a finger to the queen's lips, stopping her. Instead of removing her hand from her face, the princess rubbed her fingers along her skin, tracing a path from her lips to her cheek, then stopping at the base of her neck. Grimilde was enchanted by the mermaid before her, soft in her arms; she wouldn't have been able to move, and would probably have collapsed to the ground if she had tried.
"Tonight, let's not think about anything... can you grant me this wish?"
The queen nodded promptly, and before she knew it, Snow White had slipped her shawl from her shoulders, letting it fall to the floor. Smiling at her, she had reached Grimilde's bed and sat down on the mattress. "You know, I'm cold. I really need something to warm me up properly..."
Snow White had never been so explicit in her words or gestures: she was sensual and determined, unafraid to reveal her feelings and desires. Grimilde could no longer control her instincts and reached her on the bed, signaling her to lie down under the covers with her. Once they were side by side, the princess turned her back and grabbed the queen's hand, bringing her arm around her hip, placing her hand on her abdomen, squeezing it.
Grimilde, completely enamored by her every gesture, unreasonable for the explosive passion she was feeling, collided with her body, eliciting a small sigh from Snow White's lips. Then she moved the princess's hair, revealing her white neck, and planted her lips on her skin. One kiss followed another, and the blonde found herself gently torturing the young woman, who held her breath several times, feeling a familiar sensation reach her lower abdomen.
"Ilde..." she panted weakly, moving against the queen's body.
"Ilde?" She smiled at the nickname, barely containing her desire for Snow White.
"Is it okay?" the girl asked hesitantly, biting her lip.
"I love it." And that statement was followed by another kiss, and it was truly too much for the princess: she squeezed the queen's hand, still in her lap, and thus stopped her sensual torture.
"We should rest... I'll go back to my room."
"No, stay." Grimilde stopped her before she could move and get up, holding her close to her body. She was smiling, while Snow White, embarrassed, blushed and felt butterflies in her stomach: "W-what? But I can't!"
"Don't tell me you're still thinking about the guards..." Grimilde whispered in disbelief.
"Shouldn't I? I don't think it's appropriate for the princess to spend the night in the queen's room!" the young woman stated, trying to turn around in Grimilde's arms to look at her. She hadn't thought it was such a bad idea until she found herself facing the blonde's beautiful, sensual lips, not to mention her passionate blue eyes! The noblewoman from the north suppressed her instincts, which were screaming at her to kiss Snow White, and said, "I'm so tired. I haven't slept in hours, and I couldn't fall asleep without you by my side. At least for tonight. I want to make sure you're safe."
Snow White wouldn't deny her such a request and would endure the embarrassment of leaving the queen's room the next morning just to please her.
