Chapter 139 - Chapter 139: Yu Xiaogang Is Tang San’s Father

Chapter 139: Yu Xiaogang Is Tang San's Father

"Xiaogang!"

After days apart, Flender's eyes lit up with excitement upon seeing Yu Xiaogang.

The man in white spoke calmly, "Flender, you're safe for now. Congratulations."

Flender glanced at him, relief washing over him at the sight of Yu Xiaogang. His survival meant Shrek Academy was no longer under immediate threat—and Liu Erlong was safe too.

Looking at the unconscious Yu Xiaogang, Flender asked, "What about Shrek…?"

"Ask him when he wakes up," the man in white replied, glancing at Yu Xiaogang. "You're really lucky."

Bang! The door closed, and Flender exhaled deeply. Placing Yu Xiaogang on the bed, his expression grew complex. Probing with his soul power, he gasped, "Soul power gone? Limbs useless? What happened?"

*On the Rooftop.*

Fifteen Ton Douluo frowned. "Did Bibi Dong really hear what Yu Xiaogang said?"

"Don't you trust the young lady?" Falling Devil Douluo countered.

"No, I just thought Bibi Dong was surprisingly patient. She didn't demand we confirm it?" Fifteen Ton Douluo smiled. "We weren't far off, and I was ready for a fight with her."

"Her reaction must've been spectacular. Did the young lady record it?" he mused.

"Even if she did, you think she'd show you Bibi Dong's disgrace?" Falling Devil Douluo scoffed. No matter what, Bibi Dong was Qian Renxue's mother. Any recording would likely stay private for Qian Renxue to "appreciate" alone.

"Oh!" Fifteen Ton Douluo chuckled. "This incident made me realize keeping Yu Xiaogang alive is more fun than killing him. Though, keeping that old dragon Yu Yuanzhen alive might've been better. Imagine his reaction to learning his clan's destruction was tied to his son."

Falling Devil Douluo's eyes flickered. "Boring."

"Boring!" Fifteen Ton Douluo curled his lips. "You're getting old in spirit, not just age."

Falling Devil Douluo ignored him, focusing on a plain-looking boy practicing below. Doubt crept into his eyes. "The Haotian Sect… has this kind of cultivation method? Strange."

"Tang San?" Fifteen Ton Douluo glanced down. "Where's that loser Tang Hao? His son's been in Heaven Dou City so long, and he still hasn't shown up."

Since confining Shrek, they'd been waiting for Tang Hao. Yet, even after the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan's destruction, he hadn't appeared. Fifteen Ton Douluo recalled Qian Renxue's claim that Tang Hao could reach level 98 or 99 at his peak. He wanted to test that strength.

"But Tang San doesn't resemble Tang Hao or his Blue Silver Grass soul beast mother. They're good-looking; he's just average," Fifteen Ton Douluo noted.

Falling Devil Douluo observed Tang San's practice silently. As Tang San's soul power grew, his brows furrowed. "Tang San's soul power absorption speed is odd."

He sensed the soul power gathering around Tang San, puzzled. How was he doing it? His absorption rate surpassed even the Spirit Hall's golden generation, despite the Haotian Sect's methods not being this potent.

"Why care?" Fifteen Ton Douluo shot him a look. "He's a half-soul beast with a hundred-thousand-year bloodline. Maybe he inherited some unique talent."

Falling Devil Douluo nodded silently. "True, a soul beast's child might have special gifts." A mere Soul Master's rapid cultivation meant little—could he become a Titled Douluo in a year?

Knock knock knock!

"Xiao San, the dean's calling you!" a voice called.

"Coming!" Tang San replied.

*Inside the Room.*

"Ahem!" With Flender's help, Yu Xiaogang struggled to sit up, his face pale and voice weak. "Is Xiao San here?"

"Sent someone to call him," Flender replied, his emotions mixed seeing Yu Xiaogang's frail state. "What happened after the Spirit Hall captured you? Your spirit, your body…"

"Ahem!" Hatred flashed in Yu Xiaogang's eyes. After cursing Bibi Dong, Fifteen Ton and Falling Devil Douluo had taught him a lesson for "blaspheming the Pope." No ethics! If he had the strength, he'd skin them alive.

"Let's wait for Xiao San. Did you notify the others, Flender?"

"No." Flender shook his head, uncertainty in his eyes. Should he tell Yu Xiaogang about the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon clan's destruction? He feared Yu Xiaogang's fragile state couldn't handle it, unaware he already knew.

Knock knock knock!

"Enter!"

"Dean Flender, you called—Teacher!" Tang San's eyes widened seeing Yu Xiaogang on the bed, Flender beside him. Tears welled as he rushed forward. "Teacher, you're back!"

Flender watched the master and disciple, his expression complex. "Their bond is that strong?"

Fifteen Ton Douluo, observing from above, smiled. "I thought the reports exaggerated. Rare to see such respect for a Great Soul Master teacher."

"Tang Hao taught him well," Falling Devil Douluo noted.

"A bit foolish," Fifteen Ton Douluo chuckled. "Tricked into discipleship by a Great Soul Master. Tang Hao's quite open-minded, letting him teach his son."

"Tang Hao?" Falling Devil Douluo's thoughts drifted to Tang San's childhood. He increasingly felt Tang Hao didn't treat Tang San like a son. "Compared to a teacher, Yu Xiaogang might as well be Tang San's real father."

"You…" Fifteen Ton Douluo started, surprised.
