Ivan exploded. "Impossible! I've already planned everything! He can't defeat me!"
"Believe it or not, I'm just stating the truth," Lin Chen said calmly."Letting go isn't a bad thing. You're highly accomplished in applied physics. You could build your own career—why be so stubborn?"
Ivan refused to listen and angrily logged off.
Nini immediately became anxious."Daoist priest, what did you mean by 'several more years' just now?"
Lin Chen shook his head. "Heaven's secrets cannot be revealed. Perhaps… there's a transformation technique involved."
Tony subconsciously touched the reactor in his chest and muttered,"Is it because of this?"
His expression darkened. The palladium poisoning was getting worse, and drinking chlorophyll was no longer enough to maintain balance.
Pepper Potts walked in worriedly."Tony, let's find that chief priest."
Tony waved his hand dismissively."He's just a fortune teller, not a doctor. I'm fine—what are you worried about?"

"You poisonous woman," Lin Chen grumbled."Running off and trying to kidnap my only maid. By the way, give me back my entry jade pendant."
Natasha covered the pendant."Dream on. It's mine. And you still owe me money."

"Yes."
Serena turned and left.
She walked straight ahead. Levin tried to speak, but she ignored him.
He shouted after her,"You're playing with fire! That pretty boy is no good!"
Serena kicked open her door and strode inside.
"Pack your things. Leave immediately."
Lin Chen walked over, saw her reddened eyes, and smiled gently.
"That old ghost woke up furious and made you cry? I'll find you another place to stay."
Serena shook her head strangely."Do you… know what I just did?"
"Eh?"
