"Is that really everything that happened? Didn't you see any of the masked men's faces when they were alive?" The policeman writes in his notebook.
Vanessa shook her head.
"Well then, Ms Vanessa Shaw, I truly commend your bravery and skill in dealing with the kidnappers. Our investigations are still ongoing and in due time, we will apprehend the culprits." He shook hands with Vanessa and left.
Vanessa sighed.
She touched the scar on her cheek and flinched.
"Owwww, that hurts. I was almost killed yesterday by a policeman when he mistook me for a henchman", she stretches. "But luckily I had obeyed his orders and given him the ID in my trousers, and he apologised." She thought.
"Marcel was fine, the police had managed to find us in time, but I'm still not satisfied. I thought I would have to put a bullet through Donald when I find him, but that will only land me in jail." She sighs.
