Godfrey's calm expression made Isaac's unease wither, and slowly he too became calm. But then, Godfrey's face shifted into concern.
"This isn't what I expected."
That single sentence almost stopped Isaac's heart. On the other hand, Godfrey was referring to the trait of the dungeon he had entered. This kind of dungeon was usually a blue gate or red gate dungeon, both dangerous, with the red being even more horrifying, but there was one difference: both of those had exits. The green didn't.
This particular trait was known as Defend the Fort, where one had to protect their fort from an endless swarm of monsters. Once the fort was lost, it meant certain death, and the only way to clear the dungeon was by killing the dungeon boss.
And now, the fort's main wall and courtyard had already fallen. Everyone was trapped in the final safe place, the cathedral-like hall.
