Hours later, as the sun was about to set, Godfrey, who had removed his jacket and folded the sleeves of his top, sat on a beach with Isolde by his side.
Both of them had boba tea. After the kiss, they went from one venue to another and finally, they were here to watch the sunset.
As they watched the sun slowly go down, the gorgeous orange hue took over its once radiant golden light.
Godfrey looked at Isolde, who drank her tea from the corner of his eye, and then his eyes descended to her slender fingers and manicured nails.
After contemplating for a while, he boldly took her hand and entwined their fingers. Isolde's lips curled up as if she had been expecting this for a while now.
But she didn't expect him to place her palm on his chest and rest his back on the sand. He shut his eyes as if her hand had some sort of soothing ability.
"Today's been fun."
Isolde hurriedly hit his chest. "Get up! You'll miss it… it's happening, it's happening!"
