Just then, a portal flared up on the other side of the corpse, and the dragon progenitor with all her grievous wounds appeared, bleeding profusely.
She fell backward with a loud thud, right in front of Godfrey and the others watching from behind.

Before Mildred and others could rush in, Solstice appeared with his swords drawn. He drew a line on the floor and flames billowed out of it.
The dragon knight aimed the swords at them.
Christine and Arthur looked at themselves.
"We should leave." Arthur declared.
