A young man with an Indian face held a goblet filled with red wine, overlooking the brightly lit Golden Mountain City with a melancholic expression.
"I hope the live experiments are progressing," the young man sighed.
Suddenly, a mass of intense magical smoke appeared out of nowhere.
The handsome, imposing figure of an uninvited guest, leading the suit-clad thug Valmont and his enforcers, Rasu, Afu, and Chow, arrived before the young man.
"Valmont?"
The young man leaped to his feet, almost unable to believe his eyes.
Is this a magic trick?
Or some kind of illusion?
The young man was none other than the chairman of the Life Foundation.
Dr. Drake!
A promising super-genius in biological sciences.
He had always maintained close cooperation with Valmont.
For example, he frequently hired the Black Hand to kidnap street vagrants.
"Dr. Drake."
"This is Lord Shen, my superior."
The suited thug, Valmont, cleared his throat and introduced with a flourish, "The former Asian Emperor has decided to provide you with research funds to breed and mass-produce something called Oddity Cells."

Shadows then shifted and moved in.
They quickly transformed into fully armed, cold ninjas, only their crimson eyes visible.
"Shadow Ninjas?"
Dr. Drake's pupils shrank to pinpricks at the sight.
He even suspected he was hallucinating.
Everything he had learned couldn't explain what he was seeing.
"As you wish, Lord Shen."
Dr. Drake said with a wry smile.
Given the circumstances, he had no choice but to cooperate.
After all, the ability to command Shadow Ninjas was unheard of!
He couldn't afford to offend him!
"Ding!"
"Congratulations, Host, on completing the villainous act."
"Coercion and enticement."
"Awarding the Host with ten Flying Talismans."

Her name was on the tip of his tongue.

Shen Du's expression was doubtful.
