Chapter 6 - I, Steve Rogers, Have Returned

Steve rubbed the back of his head with his left hand, propped himself up with his right, and sat with his legs bent, tilting his head to stare at Mu Yang. His gaze was serious and sharp.

"Who are you?!"

"The one who woke you up, and also the one who intends to do business with you."

Mu Yang extended his right hand, sweeping it from left to right about four inches above the floor, and used Trick: Tea to conjure two steaming cups of tea, pushing one towards Steve.

Steve lowered his head to look at the tea that had appeared out of thin air, then turned his head to look around, searching his memory to determine his location before looking at Mu Yang and asking, "Are you a demon? Do you want my soul?"

Mu Yang shook his head, feeling that explaining it with words was too troublesome. He exchanged for a low-level mental ability, transmitting the relevant information about the transaction into Steve Rogers's head, and incidentally elevating his own prestige.

The boss explaining it himself? That's not worthy of a Dimensional Shop, too low-class.

After digesting the information in his mind, Steve nodded understandingly, and smiled with a sigh, "A Dimensional Shop, as long as you pay a sufficient price, you can get anything, it's just like the wish house in the fairy tales I read as a child."

"No matter what your wish, your delusion, as long as the price is right, it can... be rea!lized!"

Repeating this sentence again, Steve's expression gradually became agitated. He clenched his fist and slammed it on the ground, using the pain to suppress his slowly boiling emotions. He suppressed his excitement and asked with difficulty,

"Resurrection! What is the price to resurrect a dead person!"

"I know who you want to resurrect, but I have to remind you, you can't resurrect him, because…"

"Why?!"

Steve Rogers' roar echoed in the narrow space. He was also panting heavily, his fists clenched, trying to suppress his out-of-control emotions.

When a person falls from the peak of hope to the abyss of despair, who knows what he will do.

"Don't get excited, listen to me first." Mu Yang held up a hand in front of Steve's face, signaling him to calm down, "The reason Bucky can't be resurrected is because he's not dead."

Steve blinked, stunned for a moment before he could process what was happening.

He had imagined dozens of reasons why Bucky couldn't be revived, like the weight of his killings, the lack of a body, or his soul being imprisoned by demons... he just hadn't considered the possibility that Bucky was still alive.

"Ahem, I apologize for my earlier behavior."

Steve coughed twice, retracted his leaning posture, and changed to a kneeling position. He bowed respectfully, apologizing sincerely.

"It's fine, I'm very magnanimous. I wouldn't hold a grudge over something like that."

Mu Yang smiled brightly, as if he truly hadn't taken the earlier incident to heart.

"Phew~~" Steve, with his big heart, breathed a sigh of relief. He didn't doubt Mu Yang's words, sat up straight, and asked, "Then I'd like to know where Bucky is now, and how much Money it will cost."

Mu Yang said with a smile, "100 Money, very cheap, you know!"

The information in the shop was all priced at 1 Money.

As for Mu Yang, he'd price the information he sold to others based on his mood.

A price of 100 meant Mu Yang wanted to make a profit, but he didn't plan on gouging anyone.

"Then I'll buy…" Steve stopped mid-sentence, remembering an awkward fact.

He… had no money!

"Ahem, Boss Mu, what things do I have that can be exchanged for Money?"

Mu Yang tapped his finger on the floor, "This warplane belongs to you, and it can be exchanged for Money. The serum in your body can also be exchanged for Money. In total, it can be exchanged for twelve thousand Money."

Steve thought for a moment and said, "Exchange the warplane."

Mu Yang grabbed Steve Rogers's shoulder and flew out of the passage with him.

"..." Steve Rogers stared at the vast, snow-swept ice field, saying nothing. His eyes were filled with a trace of confusion.

From the initial vigilance upon waking, to the surprise of learning about the Dimensional Shop, and then the subsequent fury, joy, and intense emotional changes, he had forgotten some other things.

When he met Mu Yang, he mentioned being awakened.

If it was an awakening, then he should have been unconscious before.

"...How long was I unconscious?"

Steve Rogers didn't think he had been unconscious for long. After all, humans would die if they didn't eat for too long, but he was still lively and kicking, so he thought he hadn't been out for long.

But turning to look at the frozen aircraft, he had the illusion that he had been unconscious for a very long time.

Hope is an illusion.

Unfortunately, after hearing Steve's self-talk, Mu Yang casually replied, "Nearly seventy years!"

"Seventy years of what?" Steve's body trembled, forcing a smile.

He already guessed what seventy years it was, but he still held a sliver of hope.

"You fell into the glacier and were frozen for nearly seventy years."

While answering Steve's question, Mu Yang exchanged the fighter jet in the Dimensional Shop for Money, and then exchanged it for a membership card with many functions, which was also a form of identification.

Turning around to hand the card to Steve, he saw his melancholy expression and was immediately speechless.

"What are you so sad about? What are you regretting? Have you forgotten about my existence?"

Steve blinked, suddenly understanding.

Right! With Mu Yang here, any regrets could be changed!

Well, the only downside might be the cost.

"This is your membership card, and also the key to entering the shop. Keep it safe."

Mu Yang handed the card to Steve. "The information fee has been deducted, and I will now tell you about Bucky."

"Your good friend Bucky, after falling into the valley, was picked up by Hydra, brainwashed into a puppet, and became the important weapon of the Hydra organization, the 'Winter Soldier.' He is now hidden in a base, and the location of the base is..."

"Hydra!" Both new and old hatreds made Steve Rogers grit his teeth.

Although he wanted to immediately rescue Bucky and destroy Hydra, Steve was clearly still rational.

Forget about being asleep for nearly seventy years and not understanding the current situation. Just thinking about those seventy years… who knows how many weapons those crazy Hydra fanatics have created? Charging headfirst into an enemy base is just asking for trouble.

Thinking this, Steve naturally forgot about his own past actions.

He turned his head and glanced around, then focused on Mu Yang. "Mr. Mu, how do we get out of here?"

"Hold the membership card in your hand and think 'enter'."

Mu Yang explained, and then vanished into thin air. Steve followed Mu Yang's instructions, and he also disappeared.

His vision blurred, and when he could see again, the scene had completely changed. The blizzard-swept ice field had become a simple and elegant room, and two Mu Yangs were staring at him.

Steve was stunned, rubbed his eyes, and looked again. There was only one Mu Yang now.

Was that a hallucination? Steve muttered to himself, not giving it too much thought.

Mu Yang didn't explain. He steadied himself against the bar and said, "Welcome to the Dimensional Shop."
