Chapter 20 - Movements Everywhere

The function Mu Yang was testing through Steve was the recharge feature.

Steve, of course, didn't know Mu Yang's intentions. He took the bracelet, thanked him, and quickly left.

Back in the lab, which looked like it had been ravaged by twenty huskies, Steve immediately put on the bracelet, mastered its use, and began the recharge process.

The money steadily increased, one by one.

Seeing the rapidly growing amount of money, Steve revealed a comfortable smile.

In the shop, Mu Yang, who had watched the entire process through any window, also nodded with a smile.

He would wait for the user to use it for a while. If no problems arose, it could be officially put into use.

During this time, Mu Yang didn't plan to rest. Instead, he began to contemplate ways to strengthen himself.

Strength is a matter of life and death.

In the future, he would definitely go to more different worlds, and some of them would surely be dangerous, so he had to improve his strength to ensure his safety.

Not to mention, the stronger he was, the more convenient it would be to do things.

While Muyang was in closed-door cultivation to improve his strength, the world did not stop turning and was still steadily progressing.

In the world of Naruto.

The five great ninja villages were constantly at war. To grasp the movements of their old rivals, sending spies to the enemy villages was standard operating procedure.

At the same time, considering the accuracy of the information and the possibility of spies being turned, the various hidden villages would dispatch new spies every now and then.

The spies sent to each hidden village were also categorized. Long-term, undercover spies who gathered intelligence, and spies disguised as merchants responsible for transmitting information, were among the main sources for each hidden village to collect intelligence on other hidden villages.

The revival of the three Hokage, plus the White Fang of the Leaf, as well as information about the dimensional merchant, were not concealed in the slightest by Konohagakure. This made it very easy for the spies of each village to collect information and transmit it back to their own villages.

Iwagakure.

Inside the Tsuchikage's office in the Tsuchikage building.

The Tsuchikage, Onoki, put down the paper recording the intelligence and looked puzzled at Akatsuchi, the guard with a simple and honest face standing beside him.

"What do you think Konoha is doing?"

Onoki frowned, his old face filled with speculation. "Are they throwing out a smokescreen to attract the attention of other countries, covering their true intentions? But what are they trying to hide?"

"I don't know," Akatsuchi said, scratching his head with a grin.

"Has Konohagakure been acting strangely lately?" Ōnoki thought for a moment and asked Akatsuchi again.

"Nope!" Akatsuchi continued to grin.

Ōnoki continued to ponder, but he couldn't figure it out. He then ordered, "Inform the spies in Konohagakure to gather more intelligence. I want to know what Konoha is up to."

Akatsuchi turned and walked out of the Tsuchikage's office.

"What is that old geezer Sarutobi Hiruzen trying to do?" Ōnoki frowned deeply, genuinely unable to understand.

As for things like the resurrection of the First Hokage, or the dimensional merchant who could sell anything, Ōnoki didn't believe any of it.

Seeing is believing, hearing is deceiving.

Sunagakure.

The Kazekage's office in the Kazekage building.

Rasa, the Kazekage, stood with his hands clasped behind his back, gazing out the window at the howling sandstorm. He asked in a complex tone, "How much of what the intel says is true?"

His voice held both longing and fear.

Seated at the conference table in the center of the room were Chiyo and Ebizo, the two advisors of Sunagakure.

"The First Hokage's revival... I'd say it's about half true," Chiyo stated in a remarkably calm tone, a statement that made both Ebizo and Rasa's hair stand on end.

Without waiting for them to object, Chiyo continued, "I've researched the jutsu to revive people, and I've already achieved some results."

"If Konohagakure has also conducted similar research, I wouldn't be surprised if they had results as well."

"You have a jutsu that can revive people?" Rasa's mouth twitched.

"An old woman like me has lived so long, I naturally have a trick or two up my sleeve, but that's not the point..." Chiyo waved her hand dismissively. "The point is whether those people mentioned in the intel are truly revived."

Forget the various legends circulating, and the fact that the First Hokage, the God of Shinobi, was supposedly alive. Just the thought of Minato Namikaze, known as the Yellow Flash, was enough to give them a headache.

Rasa sucked in a breath of cold air, as if his teeth ached. He didn't even want to think about the possibility of all the Hokage of Konohagakure being alive. That would be a disaster.

Shaking his head, Rasa asked about another matter mentioned in the intel.

"The dimensional merchant who sells anything, what do you think of its authenticity?"

"It's hard to say." Chiyo didn't jump to conclusions. After a moment of thought, she said, "I'll go to Konohagakure."

She hadn't dealt with the First or Second Hokage, but she had interacted with the Fourth Hokage and the White Fang of the Leaf. She was especially familiar with the White Fang of the Leaf.

"That's a good idea," Rasa suggested. "We can find a pretext to send a delegation to Konohagakure."

Chiyo nodded slightly, her eyes fixed on the words "White Fang of the Leaf, Hatake Sakumo" in the intelligence report.

Kumogakure.

Raikage's office, in the Raikage Tower.

Although the Fourth Raikage was known for his explosive temper and appeared to be a muscle-bound brute, he was intelligent enough to be the Raikage.

"Is Konohagakure planning a sneak attack somewhere?"

As the Kage of a nation known for its martial prowess, the Fourth Raikage, A, immediately considered the possibility that Konohagakure was using a smokescreen to conceal their true intentions. This thought coincided with the Tsuchikage, Ōnoki's, suspicions.

"Order all areas to increase their vigilance, and instruct our spies in Konohagakure to gather more intelligence."

Raikage A instructed the ninja standing beside him.

Kirigakure.

Due to its location on an island and the infamous Bloody Mist, Kirigakure was isolated. Other ninja villages found it difficult to obtain information about Kirigakure, and Kirigakure struggled to gather intel on them.

Other smaller ninja villages had also, through various means, obtained information about Konohagakure.

Land of Rain, Amegakure.

Nagato and Konan also received the information. The Rinnegan already possessed the ability to revive people, so Nagato believed it to be eighty percent true, although he was still skeptical about the information regarding the dimensional merchant.

"Go to Konoha."

After some thought, Nagato decided to go to Konohagakure. Naturally, he wouldn't enter Konoha himself; instead, he would remotely control a puppet to enter the village and gather intel.

To get more detailed information, he'd have to go in person.

Anyway, the puppets were expendable, so losing one or two wouldn't matter.

Inside Amegakure, Zetsu, who also wanted to investigate Konohagakure, had already set off, beating Nagato to the village.

In a corner of Konohagakure, the graveyard.

Uchiha Obito, clutching a bouquet of flowers and hidden in the shadows of the trees, stared in shock at the scene before him.

A group of ninjas were enthusiastically digging up the graves of their loved ones, be they family, lovers, or friends.

Expressions of excitement, determination, and nostalgia...

The scene was indescribable.

"Wh...what's going on?!"

Uchiha Obito felt like he was caught in a genjutsu, or perhaps the ninjas were.
