Crack, crack, crack…
The sound of ice shattering echoed as the spiked, half-sphere ice prison broke apart, revealing Katakuri—completely uninjured—shielding his younger siblings.
"Brûlée, take the others and go."
Katakuri kept his eyes locked on Kuzan, who was walking toward them at a relaxed pace.
"Okay, big brother!"
Brûlée cast one worried look at Katakuri before taking the younger siblings and slipping into the Mirror World.
Kuzan made no move to stop their escape. He simply glanced at Big Mom and suggested,
"Change of venue?"
Katakuri nodded slightly. Turning a chaotic brawl into a one-on-one duel was exactly what he preferred.
"Fine."
With only a short exchange, the two headed out of the town.
Sakazuki was far less gentle. With a single Soru, he appeared before Charlotte Cracker in an instant.
Cracker had a tall, imposing build, wearing a helmet decorated with vertical mane-like bristles, cracker-shaped horns on either side, and a rugged face with a sharp beard. His armor was patterned brown and white, sword in hand, cloak behind him, and a cracker shield on his back.
As one of the Sweet Commanders, Cracker wasn't on Sakazuki's level—but he wasn't weak enough to be one-shotted either.
He raised his Armament-Haki-coated shield, blocking Sakazuki's magma fist aimed at his skull.
Although the shield withstood the strike, the force behind it sent Cracker staggering backward.
"Tch!"
Sakazuki snorted and seized the advantage. His magma arm expanded, grabbing Cracker's unstable figure and hurling him toward the outskirts of town.
The town would soon become a battlefield between Big Mom and a mountain-sized giant. Sakazuki had zero interest in getting caught between those two monsters.
With that thought, he used Geppo to chase after Cracker.
Garp and Sengoku moved simultaneously. They each punched Charlotte Smoothie and Charlotte Snack in the stomach, stunning them long enough to grab their faces and sprint toward the outside of town.
Hashirama also exited, guiding his wooden giant out of the area. The remaining Vice Admirals saw this and fled without hesitation.
Inside the forehead of the Susanoo, Uchiha Madara glanced at the evacuating Marines, then lowered his gaze toward the shrieking Big Mom.
"Dance for me."
Crack, crack, crack…
The ice binding Susanoo's left leg shattered. The suspended massive foot descended again, stomping toward Charlotte Linlin.
Her eyes glowing blood-red, Big Mom swiftly shifted to the side and slashed upward with both hands on her blade.
A gigantic flying slash shot toward Susanoo's left leg.
BOOM!
Their collision exploded like a detonation, the shockwave bending the surrounding flames.
A long gash appeared on Susanoo's armor—only to rapidly regenerate.
Being able to damage Susanoo meant one had the qualifications to fight it.
THUD—
The massive foot crashed down, breaking the ice beneath it.
Linlin leapt upward, and Zeus flew beneath her feet, carrying her higher into the sky.
Pink hair ignited with living flames, twisting and writhing. Her blade burned violently as well.
Madara said nothing, simply watching her approach. Susanoo swung its sword, cleaving toward her mid-air.
Despite Susanoo's gigantic size, its movements were not clumsy in the slightest.
A sharp sonic boom ripped through the air as the blade arrived in front of Linlin almost instantly.
"Emperor Sword…PWAH-KAMAKIRI!"
Dodging wasn't a word that existed in Big Mom's head. She swung back with full force.
Their blades clashed, and Linlin was sent flying like a missile, crashing into an ice house. A storm of shards covered her figure.
"Mama!!" Zeus screamed.
"Heavenly Fire!!"
From within the cloud of ice, a furious roar erupted.
A mass of fire surged upward into the sky before collapsing into a blazing sea of flames that rained down upon Susanoo, lighting Madara's face a crimson red.
"Hmph. Petty tricks."
Susanoo crossed its twin blades. With a single flash, sword energy capable of cleaving mountains and meteors sliced the fire sea into four parts. The gust that followed swept the flames aside.
"Prometheus!Enlarge!"
Linlin clearly never expected the fire attack to finish the fight. She had already thrown Prometheus and was charging to flank Susanoo—until she saw her flames get shredded.
"No problem, Mama!"
The shredded inferno re-gathered, forming a massive fireball. Its sinister, human-like face grinned as it drifted toward Susanoo.
The rising temperature scorched the battlefield. Snow melted; ice frothed. Madara's hair curled from the heat, and the interior of Susanoo became as hot as a furnace.
If left alone, Madara estimated he would be cooked alive in minutes. There were things Susanoo could not block—like air, like heat…
As the temperature climbed, Susanoo swung its sword again. It sliced straight through Prometheus—but caused zero damage, blades passing through flame.
"Won't work! Won't work!" Prometheus cackled. "You can't cut fire!"
"Good. Now it feels like a fight."
Madara smirked. He made Susanoo take flight, avoiding the fire giant's advance.
Standing still and beating on someone wasn't a battle.Being forced to react—that was combat.
"Hey! Don't run!" Prometheus shouted as Madara rose into the sky.
"Prometheus! Chase him!"
Big Mom leapt onto Prometheus, entering riding mode. Sitting on the hundred-meter-wide fireball, she soared after Susanoo.
"Zeus."
Linlin grabbed Zeus with her left hand and aimed him forward.
"On it, Mama!"
Zeus unleashed bolt after bolt of purple lightning toward Susanoo.
Lightning outraced Susanoo's movement speed, striking the giant warrior repeatedly.
Of course, such low-grade lightning couldn't break Susanoo's defense.
But Madara was not the type to sit and take hits. That wasn't his style.
As he flew, both Madara and Susanoo formed hand signs simultaneously.
"Tengai Shinsei!—Heavenly Obstruction Shaking Star!"
