Chapter 25 - Chapter 25 Divine Departure vs Susanoo

Lightning streaked across the gloomy clouds, its radiance illuminating the face of the wrathful vajra deity.

Near the Root's base, Danzo emerged from the depths of a temple.

Seeing the towering figure of the Susanoo on the village outskirts, one of his black eyes lost its light.

"Uchiha… Itachi!"

Danzo gritted his teeth, the part of his face not wrapped in bandages twitching uncontrollably.

'What 'Uchiha with Hokage thinking'… that old fool Hiruzen's eyes must be failing him!'

'Despite all the guidance I had given, he still hadn't sided with them in the end. As expected, the Uchiha were untrustworthy!'

His cane tapped rapidly against the ground as Danzo rushed to gather the remaining Root's Ninjas.

Meanwhile, within the Uchiha Clan's compound.

The purple giant swung its massive sword, slamming it down toward Sakura.

"Tch, the power of a god?"

Seeing the great sword descending, Sakura channeled Chakra to the soles of her feet.

Her figure bizarrely shot forward, as if gliding rapidly across ice.

She nimbly dodged beneath the slowly falling Chakra-formed great sword, which could only destroy the ground behind her.

"What kind of Ninjutsu is that?"

Some Uchiha Clan's Ninjas were puzzled and asked their more experienced seniors.

"It seems to be a type of Nintaijutsu. She creates footholds in the air with Chakra and uses the reactive force from rapid steps to advance. A highly refined Taijutsu."

Gin, with his arms crossed, analyzed Sakura's method with his rich combat experience.

"Elder Gin, should we go help the head?"

"Fool! How do you expect to participate in a battle like that?"

Gin rebuked the young man behind him, his voice filled with thick resentment.

In his eyes, a massive axe light soared into the sky, clashing with the Susanoo's sword.

Clang-!

A wave-like surge of air roared, and a savage and violent presence wrapped in black lightning resonated through the void.

The entire Military Police Force's headquarters was utterly destroyed by this single strike.

Then, a petite figure cut through the sky, embedding itself deeply into the earth.

"Hisss, that hurts."

Sakura, her hands numb, crushed the large rock pressing down on her and stood up from the crater.

Blood flowed from her knuckles, and she felt dizzy from the interference of Yin Attribute Chakra, but her fighting spirit only grew more intense.

Her Haki ran rampant, reflecting the will of a conqueror.

A heart-stopping tide of dark lightning spread in all directions, bombarding every inch of space.

Fugaku, protected by his third-stage Susanoo, watched as sparks flew from the friction between the lightning and his armor.

"Step aside, Haruno Sakura."

"A child like you is the future of the village. You shouldn't sacrifice yourself for the ugly desires of those on top."

Fugaku looked at the formidable Sakura and sighed softly.

"Oh? Think you've got me figured out?"

Sakura swayed her body, using momentum to hoist the axe onto her shoulder.

Her Observation Haki extended once more. The ground beneath her feet was divided… one half transformed into a sea of flames by scorching heat, the other into an ice field by severe cold.

"If you can do it, then come and try!"

On the burning ice field, the girl slowly raised her axe. Her bold laughter accompanied the name of her technique as it soared into the sky.

"Eighty… Tribal Leaders!"

In an instant, ice and flames surged together. A rainbow light swirled as it was shredded by the blazing axe light, carrying an invincible presence as it launched a rebellious strike against the shadow of a god.

"Truly... a pity!"

Fugaku clasped his hands together. The third-stage Susanoo covering him drew a massive long blade, spanning under the moonlight.

A grand and vast eye opened within the Susanoo's armor, the god indifferently looking down upon the world. As Chakra flowed, it mercilessly delivered judgment.

"Susanoo: Futsu no Mitama!"

Boom!!!

A vast powerful light erupted from where blade and axe collided. The clash of chakra and Haki turned into a violent shockwave, exploding outward from the two combatants.

All sound was drowned out by the roar that surpassed thunder. The Uchiha Clan's hawk faction's Ninjas were sent flying by the storm.

Many surrounding houses were damaged by the continuously spreading aftershocks.

Fortunately, the Uchiha Clan, in preparation for their coup, had already moved many of their elderly and weak from the area around the Military Police Force's headquarters, preventing massive casualties.

The massive Military Police Force's headquarters had been flattened, leaving behind a huge crater.

Fugaku's eyes streamed more blood, his chest heaving violently.

Before him, the drifting dust gradually cleared, revealing a small, battered figure.

Her clothes were torn in multiple places, revealing bruises beneath.

The axe in her hand had turned to scrap metal in the collision, and a trail of blood flowed from the girl's temple, sealing off the vision in her left eye.

"I see now. That sword... fuses both of your Dojutsu!"

Sakura wiped away the blood obscuring her vision and spoke, unraveling Fugaku's secret.

One eye observed the future, the other wove the future.

When the two merged, the resulting Susanoo's sword, Futsu no Mitama, gained the ability to sever unfavorable futures.

'Damn it, how did someone like this die in the original work?!'

Sakura spat out a mouthful of blood and tightened her fist.

"You have no weapons left."

Fugaku staggered, raising a hand to forcefully keep his eyelids open.

It seemed using such Dojutsu wasn't without cost.

"Why? Why go this far?"

Facing the enemy's question, Sakura pulled out her forehead protector and tied back her disheveled hair.

"For my friends. For the Uchiha who have treated me kindly."

"To overcome this absurd and cruel fate, and to laugh with my comrades under the rising sun once more!"

Sakura smiled carefreely, her Haki surging once again.

Within her Chakra Pathway, the vast Chakra she had accumulated erupted anew.

In an instant, a terrifying pressure weighed heavily on everyone's hearts.

The Uchiha still standing on the battlefield stared in disbelief at the petite figure.

'After such a prolonged battle, she still possessed this much Chakra?'

"Haruno Sakura..."

Fugaku seemed to see a familiar shadow in her… someone who had once vowed to unite everyone and create a more prosperous village.

'If only he had survived. Under his leadership, perhaps the Uchiha Clan wouldn't have come to this.'

"But things have come to this!"

Fugaku roared, the massive Susanoo beginning to shrink.

However, the ominous chakra enveloping the divine sword, Futsu no Mitama, boiled like hot oil meeting cold water.

"To achieve such things, absolute power is necessary. Overcome me, Haruno Sakura!"

The divine sword was raised by the smaller set of armor, burning under the moonlight, growing increasingly eerie.

In the giant crater, Sakura drew the Supreme Grade Sword, Ace, a grin spreading across her face.

To counter the massive Yin Attribute Chakra of the Susanoo, she pushed her Devil Fruit's Ability to its current limit.

Ice Mode: Snow White Armament!

Pure white frost spread like armor across her entire body. The Anbu's black bodysuit was dyed a divinely pure snow-white, as if draped in a gown of light.

Using her Devil Fruit's Ability, Sakura wrapped both Chakra and freezing cold around the Supreme Grade Sword, fully arming herself along with the sword.

This way, when facing Fugaku's future-altering strikes, she could prevent her weapon from being instantly destroyed by the future he wove.

Particles of pure white frost drifted around the girl, both beautiful and deadly.

"Susanoo: Futsu no Mitama!"

Fugaku roared, raising his right hand and slashing down fiercely. The Susanoo behind him mirrored his movement, swinging its sword.

"Divine… Departure!"

Sakura charged forward with all her might, her body becoming a streak of white across the ground.

The explosive sound of wind roared continuously at the tips of the two blades.

A direct clash!

In the next instant...

Boom-!
