Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: The War of Divided Kingdoms – Part 5

Asmodeus stood upon a rocky plateau, the cold smile never leaving his face. Behind him, the dark sea of demons roared, and in front of that sea stood the great alliance: humans, elves, dwarves, birds, werewolves, orcs, and vampires.

Asmodeus watched the armies of the alliance from afar, then laughed mockingly:

"How pathetic you are… uniting like rats just to delay your inevitable end."

The demons behind him roared with laughter, but suddenly, the air trembled. From the heart of shadows emerged Morlock, father of Asmodeus, the ancient king of demons:

"Let them muster all they have… nothing will remain of them but ashes."

Asmodeus replied:

"It's fine, father. We will make their screams the anthem of hell."

On the opposing side, Hades was watching the scene among the leaders. His icy eyes locked onto Asmodeus, then he said calmly to Phinikeiros :

"I have found my prey…"

Phinikeiros smirked:

"Just don't let me be the one to cut off his head before you."

At that moment, the voice of Oungan thundered from within the alliance ranks, mocking the demon army:

"All I see before me are nothing but flying flies, icy gorillas, deformed bodies like children's scribbles, and stray dogs."

Fury flared in Morlock's eyes as he roared:

"You dare compare the lineage of hell to insects?! You worthless creature, I'll rip your heart out and hang it in my chamber as decoration!"

Oungan replied with a grin:

"Do it, if you can!"

Beside Oungan, Poseidon, king of the seas, stepped forward and raised his trident. His voice pierced the chaos:

"Today we shall not lose. You shall not cross this land except as rotting corpses."

The alliance's chants rose, and the ground trembled under the weight of weapons and armor. In response, the demon army bellowed and surged first.

Like a dark wave, their terrifying cries shook the horizon, met by the roaring of the great alliance.

The armies clashed.

The orcs, with their massive bodies, struck with might, but every beast that fell was replaced by another—blood for blood, scream for scream. The dwarves, with their steel-like shields, stood as an unbreakable wall before the onslaught of hellhounds, and whenever one managed to break through, an axe of a dwarf came down to fell it. The werewolves tore through demon flesh, but the demons countered with their black claws—each tear answered by another.

In the skies, another war raged. The birds clashed with the wings of the Narghul, as if light itself was battling darkness.

One of the young generals, Arathon, split a Narghul in half with a single gust of his wings, while General Sirena brought down an entire flock with the blades of her golden feathers. The Narghul tried to resist, but fell swiftly before the two young generals.

As for the soldiers of the birds, they found themselves in an evenly matched struggle. The Narghul's claws were savage, their bites leaving deep marks, but the birds retaliated with their talons and wings. Every fallen bird was answered by a fallen Narghul. The skies became a vortex of feathers mixed with blood and severed limbs.

From the Narghul ranks burst their leader, Ordug, his eyes blazing with fury as he watched his soldiers slaughtered by the two young generals. He bellowed with a voice that shook the heavens:

"You winged vermin! I'll tear off your wings one by one!"

General Arathon replied:

"Stay where you are… I'm coming to slit your throat. The skies are ours, and they shall remain ours, you abomination!"

On the ground, Oungan was laughing as he cut through demon ranks, then shouted:

"Look! Even in the skies you're being crushed by this flock of chickens!"

Morlock roared with overwhelming rage:

"You will all be silenced soon… and I shall make the skies bleed until the last feather falls!"

Meanwhile, Hades advanced swiftly alongside ,Phinikeiros as though racing each other toward Asmodeus, their eyes fixed solely on him, as if the entire battle was nothing but a path to reach him.

As for Semifel, he had chosen his foe from the very start, advancing swiftly, cutting down every demon in his path to reach Odin.

Queen Elythia watched the two young generals with her calm eyes from the ground, a smile gracing her face as she struck down every enemy that came near her with her wings, without granting them a second glance.

She spoke with pride as she followed their movements:

"Those two brats… they're doing well."

Not far from her, the third commander, Ganesha, was facing swarms of the Yati. His fists smashed their skulls one by one as though they were nothing.

A mocking grin spread across his face as he muttered to himself:

"I want an opponent worth fighting… these icy gorillas aren't even appetizers for me."

On the other side, the two wings representing the queen's absolute might—her right hand, Valkoris, and her left hand, Dragmor—were engaged against a terrifying foe.

It was Ashura of Envy, embodiment of jealousy and madness, spreading his arms as he screamed like a lunatic:

"Why are you gifted?! Why do you possess such beauty?! I won't forgive you… damn you both!"

Dragmor, the left hand, sneered back:

"You cursed wretch, what nonsense are you spewing?! Is your head broken, or are you just insane?!"

He lunged at him with a mighty kick to the stomach, sending him flying into the sky. And as he soared, Valkoris, the right hand, descended upon him with his wings, striking a devastating blow that hurled Ashura to the ground, shaking the battlefield with a thunderous explosion as his body lay shattered beneath the rubble.

But Ashura, leaning against the earth, raved madly:

"Why… why… why do you have everything… while I have nothing… damn you!"

Then suddenly he rose, his eyes blazing with madness, before unleashing an attack of flames in the shape of a massive demonic skull toward Dragmor.

falkoris cried out in horror as he rushed toward him:

"Draaaagmorr!!!"
