Feeling a shadow over her, Amber's eyes flew open, directly settling on the man with photochromic glasses in front of her.
"Wearing photochromic glasses inside, really?"
The man ignored her and simply pushed a coffee mug toward her, his left brow perking up questioningly, "You're back?"
She sat up properly and reached for the mug without responding.
As she did so, his eyes caught the fading handprint on her left cheek and his expression visibly darkened.
"Did he hit you?"
Taking a sip of the coffee, she exhaled tiredly and leaned back on the couch to stare up at him again.
The next second, her eyes swelled with tears and her lips quivered uncontrollably.
"I think he was cheating on me."
It was his turn to go silent.
As the head of Smile Entertainment, he knew many things. And since Aaron Foster was in his line of work, he naturally knew a lot about him.
