After that, no more words appeared on the book. Zeeniya understood what she needed to do. She kept reading until she reached page number 29, and then she said, "Take me to the part of my past that was tampered with."
The moment she spoke those words, a bright light burst out from the book.Zeeniya saw that she was standing inside her palace. Around her there was a great hustle and bustle, just like the day when her father had tested her brothers to choose the new bearer of The King of Sandail.
She walked toward the place where her brothers were taking their test. She saw her father there too, weak and frail because of illness. None of her brothers had managed to pass the trial, and this made her father look deeply worried. Finally, he decided that his daughter should also take part in the trial—perhaps she would succeed, and The King of Sandail would remain in safe hands within their family.
Zainab (Zeeniya's old name) was present there, watching each of her brothers fail one after another. When her father ordered her to take the test, she obeyed and prepared to step into the arena.
At that moment, a maidservant with her face veiled appeared, carrying a glass full of milk. She said, "Princess, drink this so that you'll have strength during the trial." Zainab took the glass and drank the milk, then walked toward the testing ground.
Zainab began performing very well in the trial, but suddenly her head started spinning. She turned to her father and said she was feeling extremely tired and could no longer continue. Hearing this, her father became very distressed, because it meant his daughter too had failed the test.
Zeeniya, watching from the present, understood everything now—that the real trouble had been caused by the maidservant. Time in the past was slipping away quickly, and she had to act fast so that Zainab could retake the trial and win.
Just then, she saw Zabura arriving. He had already learned that Abdullah's sons had failed the test. When he heard that Abdullah had even tested his daughter, he laughed loudly, mocked them, and declared that he himself would now take the trial—and if he passed, he would become the bearer of The King of Sandail.Zeeniya now fully understood what had happened—that in that moment, Zabura must have taken the trial and succeeded, becoming the new bearer of The King of Sandail. That was why the entire atmosphere of her tribe had changed and Zabura's rule prevailed there.
Now, she knew what had to be done: somehow bring Zainab back into the competition. Zeeniya was certain that Zainab could defeat anyone in the test of wisdom, and if the effect of the milk was removed, she would surely win.
With this thought, Zeeniya began searching for Zainab and found her resting in a chamber. Using the power of The King of Sandail, Zeeniya altered her appearance slightly and went to her. She asked Zainab how she was feeling. Zainab replied that she still felt weak.
Zeeniya said, "I am a student of the royal physician. Please drink this medicine—you will feel better." Then, by commanding The King of Sandail, a small vial of medicine appeared in her hand. Zainab drank a little, and as soon as she did, she regained her strength and energy.
Zeeniya then began to persuade her: "Don't you think you should enter the competition again?"
Zainab replied, "But how can I? I have already failed. And even if I try again, what guarantee is there that I'll succeed?"
Zeeniya said, "Princess, you will definitely win this trial, because you are extremely intelligent. You could have won the first time too—if only you hadn't drunk that milk. It was given to you as part of a conspiracy, to weaken you. But now think carefully: if Zabura wins this trial, he will become the bearer of The King of Sandail. And he is so cruel that he will unleash mountains of oppression on everyone."
Zainab understood everything and shuddered at the thought of what would happen if Zabura truly became the master of The King of Sandail.Zainab asked what she should do now. Zeeniya told her, "Go to the place of the trial and request your father to give you one more chance. He will surely allow it, because you are trying to save the power of The King of Sandail from falling into the wrong hands."
After that, Zainab went to the arena where the trial was held. Zabura was already there, prepared to take the test. Zainab requested her father to give her one more chance, assuring him that this time she would surely succeed.
While her father was still considering what decision to make, Zabura burst into loud laughter and mocked them, saying, "Give this little girl another chance—it doesn't matter, because I am the one who will pass anyway." He believed she was just a small child, who had already failed once and would fail again.
But Zainab's father granted her permission. Zainab entered the trial once more. The test began, and this time Zainab passed successfully, while Zabura failed.
Zeeniya was watching all of this. When she checked the time, she realized that her limit for staying in the past was about to end. The last scene she saw was Zainab winning the trial and becoming the rightful bearer of The King of Sandail.
A brilliant light flashed before Zeeniya's eyes, and she suddenly found herself standing once again beside the Cosmic Codex. She looked and saw that The King of Sandail was glowing brightly once more, just as it had before.Zeeniya realized that she had succeeded in her mission. She left the library and came outside, then ordered The King of Sandail to quickly take her to her horse, because the artifact had returned to its original state. Zeeniya saw that she was seated on a flying carpet and soon reached her horse. She mounted the horse and galloped swiftly back to her tribe.
Zeeniya saw that a protective safety shield had been raised around the settlement. She then noticed a woman standing outside the tribe, trying to get in. When Zeeniya approached, she was surprised to see that it was the same woman who had given the past-era Zainab the glass of milk; at that time the woman's face had been covered, but her appearance was otherwise the same.
Zeeniya shouted angrily, "Who are you? Why are you standing here? Show your face and tell me your purpose for coming — quickly, or I will punish you!" Hearing this, the woman trembled with fear and pulled the cloth from her face. Zeeniya saw that the woman's face was very ugly and frightening.
The woman pleaded, "Princess Zeeniya, I am a sorceress. For a long time I have been searching for my brother. I learned that my brother has been imprisoned in the jail with Zabura's brothers .When I tried to come here to rescue him, I was unable to enter the tribe because of some magical barrier. Exhausted, I went to the oldest sorcerer among our witches, who is an expert in magic. I told him everything and asked for a solution. He said that if I could go into the past and prevent the tribe's princess from winning the King of Sandail's contest, then Zabura's rule would be established here and the whole course of events would change — and in that altered timeline my brother would be returned to me. The old sorcerer sent me to the past for a short time. I fed milk, returned, and everything changed — my brother was freed. But now, I don't know what has happened; the same scene is happening again: I find myself standing here, unable to enter because of some magical barrier, and my brother is missing."
Hearing all this, Zeeniya became very angry. She told the sorceress, "What you went into the past and broke — I have fixed it and returned. Your brother is still in my custody, and now you will remain my prisoner forever." Saying this, Zeeniya commanded The King of Sandail, and the sorceress's hands were bound. Zeeniya removed the safety shield and ordered the sorceress to move forward.She entered the tribe and, seeing the peace restored as it once was, felt very happy. A little further on, she spotted the same minister whom she had first sent ahead to announce her arrival to the tribe.
The minister, surprised to see her, said, "Princess, I was just on my way to the palace to deliver the message of your return."
Hearing this, Zeeniya smiled but said nothing.
The people of the tribe rejoiced at the sight of Zeeniya. She ordered her soldiers to imprison the sorceress, and also commanded them to escort King Akhnaton safely to the palace.
Afterward, Zeeniya, exhausted from everything that had happened, went to her bedroom to rest.
