"Hm?"

"It's raining…"

Heiter's voice rang out.

Frieren and Heiter came up from the basement one after the other, and the first thing they saw was Yulian and Fern leaning by the window, watching the drizzling rain outside.

"Yeah," Yulian nodded with a sigh, returned to the table, and sat down, feeling a bit depressed.

"Looks like we can't leave."

"Ho ho."

"Since you're guests, stay for a while longer."

Heiter seemed very happy.

"Even if it's the Demon Race, is that okay?"

Yulian made a small joke, successfully earning a glare from Frieren and a curious look from Fern.

Only Heiter smiled and nodded.

"If it's you, it's okay."

If it's me, is it okay?

Yulian raised his head, looking at Heiter and Frieren with a strange gaze in his eyes.

He didn't know why, but Yulian always felt that whether it was Heiter, Frieren, or the human commoners, their hostility towards the Demon Race seemed much weaker compared to ten years ago.

"Ho ho."

"Is your friend no exception?"

Heiter broke Yulian's silence, his eyes shining with wisdom.

Do you know about Flenna's existence?

When?

Yulian looked at the snowflake mark on the back of his hand in confusion, and when he looked up again, he saw Heiter with an expression that said, 'I've found out.'

I was tricked...

Yulian's face darkened. He should have known earlier that Heiter wasn't just a simple, lovable old man...

"There's another member of the Demon Race?"

Frieren blinked her large, emerald-like eyes and leaned towards Yulian.

"Is it convenient to introduce your friend?"

Heiter, on the other hand, smiled calmly, his emotions very stable.

"This…"

Yulian hesitated.

Flenna is the only remaining member of the Snow Demon Race, which is undeniably important.

If nothing unexpected happens, Yulian believes that protecting Flenna is more important than protecting himself before returning to the Demon Race.

"If you're unwilling, it's okay."

Heiter stopped the restlessly moving Frieren.

"It should be fine,"

Yulian shook his head.

"Flenna, come out."

Every action of Heiter made Yulian feel comfortable, and Yulian didn't think Heiter would harm Flenna.

Moreover, Frieren, as a genuine Great Demon, isn't so easily harmed.

"Finally, I can come out and get some fresh air, I was suffocating."

With snow-white hair and a graceful figure, Flenna stretched and appeared before everyone.

Her ethereal temperament and exquisite features made people even wonder if she should be an elf rather than the so-called Demon Race.

"So beautiful!"

"Just like the fairy in the legends!"

Fern's pale purple pupils widened slightly, and she made a pertinent evaluation with her small mouth opening and closing.

"What a lovely little girl."

Flenna couldn't help but chuckle, put her arm around her slender waist, and gently flicked Fern's delicate little nose.

It was clear she was in a good mood at the moment.

After teasing Fern, Flenna stood up again and looked at Heiter and Frieren.

"My name is Flenna, of the Snow Demon Race."

"Please take care of me!"

Flenna generously extended her snow-white jade hand, a warm smile on her face.

"This is exceeding the standard."

Frieren glanced at Flenna's front and back, then silently lowered her head to look at her own chest...

No matter how you look at it... it's exceeding the standard, hey...

"Hello."

Heiter was startled for a moment before extending his hand, his old and dry palm touching the jade hand and separating immediately.

When Heiter looked at Flenna again, she had already put her hand behind her back and was smiling.

A polite and well-mannered woman, this was Heiter's evaluation of Flenna.

"Long time no see, Miss Frieren."

Flenna also extended her hand to Frieren.

"Long time no see?"

Frieren realized this strange point after extending her hand.

"That's right,"

Flenna nodded as if it were a matter of course, and then began to tell the story from the Village.

Frieren and Heiter also listened carefully before suddenly understanding.

"So you were already with Yulian since you were in the Village."

Heiter chuckled, but he didn't feel so relaxed inside.

Flenna and Frieren had been together for so long, and yet she hadn't discovered her presence, which proved her terrifying ability to conceal herself.

However, considering Flenna's sudden appearance out of nowhere, it seemed understandable.

She must have used some special Magic to hide herself.

"Wait, are you saying you're a Snow Demon?"

Frieren only remembered Flenna's self-introduction after listening to her words.

"That's right, Miss Frieren."

Flenna clearly liked Frieren. Although she didn't know what the reason was, she could always feel Flenna's enthusiasm for Frieren when she spoke.

Similarly, Frieren didn't have any hostility towards Flenna, who was a member of the Demon Race.

Really, it wasn't like this towards herself before.

Yulian looked at Flenna with resentment, remembering that when his Demon Race identity was revealed to Frieren, this old hag had been monitoring him for a long time.

"I heard about it a long time ago, but it was indeed a long time ago."

Frieren was thinking.

Flying snow, strong winds, natural aura…

"Well…"

"Because the existence of the Snow Clan was indeed a long time ago."

"It's okay if you're not familiar with it."

Flenna's expression was a little downcast. Had the existence of her own clan become something from a long time ago even for elves…

Compared to the dull and silly elf and the Snow Demon, Heiter clearly remembered something.

Heiter chuckled and played it down before taking everyone to introduce their temporary accommodation.

They went up to the second floor and came to a spacious room. Heiter motioned for Frieren to put down her suitcase.

"From now on, you'll be living here."

"Is that okay, Frieren?"

Frieren had agreed to Heiter's request to study the Magic scrolls, so she would undoubtedly be staying for a while longer.

One year, two years, or even three to five years were possible.

"No problem."

Frieren nodded and began to pack her things.

For example: taking out some daily necessities from her suitcase, changing to clean sheets, and so on.

"Fern, help Frieren here."

Heiter nodded and smiled, gently patted Fern beside him, and then took Yulian and Flenna to the next room.

It was also a spacious bedroom, but there was still only one large bed.

"Living next door to Frieren?"

"It's okay."

Yulian felt like he had returned to the days when he and Frieren were neighbors.

"Yulian and Miss Flenna, I'm sorry to trouble you to stay here."

"Is that okay?"

Heiter said with some hesitation.

Honestly, he wasn't sure about the relationship between Flenna and Yulian, but since Miss Flenna and Yulian had been together all along, he didn't think they would mind too much.

Are they a couple?

Or something else?

Heiter didn't know much about the relationships within the Demon Race.

"Of course!"

"How can you!"

Two completely opposite voices rang out, and Yulian looked at Flenna beside him in disbelief.

"That…"

"I don't want to sleep here..."

Flenna's pretty face was red, her cherry lips moved slightly, biting her white, sharp teeth.

"Haven't we always done it this way…"

Yulian complained, but still politely asked Heiter.

"Then, Heiter, are there any other rooms?"

What he got was Heiter's awkward shake of the head.

"There's only this one bedroom,"

"Erm…"

Yulian looked at Flenna helplessly, as if to say, 'How about we just do this? The bed is so big, the two of us can squeeze in, right?'

"No~"

Flenna firmly shook her head.

Living rough with the Demon King for decades was one thing, but now that she could finally come out and move around openly, having to go back to the mark to sleep at night was unbearable.

But there were no extra rooms…

Flenna was troubled and suddenly had an idea.

"Then how about I sleep with Miss Frieren?"

Flenna asked tentatively.

Yulian laughed as soon as he heard it.

Impossible, absolutely impossible!

Frieren is still busy burying our Demon Race, and you, a Demon, are thinking of sleeping with Frieren?

"Okay."

Unexpectedly, Frieren's small head poked in from the doorway.

Yulian's eyes widened in disbelief, his head full of question marks.

????

You're not the Frieren I know!

Get out!

"Thank you, Miss Frieren!"

Unlike Yulian's astonishment, Flenna packed her luggage happily and moved into Frieren's room.

"Good night and sweet dreams, Demon"

"Lord Yulian!"

"Bang!"

The door was gently closed by Frieren, but Yulian felt as if thunder had struck his ears.

Lying on the bed, Yulian mumbled.

"I always feel like the way I opened it was a bit wrong."
