[Congratulations. You have successfully awakened the class rune of Mystic Chef.]
[Mystic Chef is not just about making food. It's about seeing the reality as a kitchen, and everything in it as ingredients. This is a path to the true creator of limitless possibilities, and you must tread carefully on it to reach that height.]
Ainen's eyes closed, arriving in his inner space where the skill runes were stationed near the figure that displayed his body in its arcane form.
'The amount of mana is flowing so densely.' Ainen noted. 'Well, compared to the first time I saw it, I have over three times more Mana right now.'
Focusing on the main thing, he looked at the floating runes.
The skill runes were small, with the most prominent and refined being the Fire Manipulation.
[Fire Manipulation]
Rank: S
Proficiency: 100%
Effect:
—> Fire obeys your will. You have near immunity to flames.
The description had changed after he reached 100% proficiency in it, carrying the meaning that Ainen had mastered the manipulation of fire to the level that it may seem like fire obeys him.
The other two runes of Flight and Tyrant Mage's Arms were relatively less refined in appearance.
Ainen remembered that the rune of Fire Manipulation didn't look that refined before. 'Is it because I reached 100% proficiency in it? That said, I have to do something about Flight. I am stuck at 79% percent and it's not increasing past that at all.'
Moving on, he finally looked at the class rune, which was bigger in size.
The skill runes were the size of thumbs, but this class rune was the size of a big watermelon with a two-part 3D structure.
It was an exotic four-pointed crystal with hues of shifting colors, with two golden rings spinning around it, one vertically and one horizontally.
[Mystic Chef]
Class rank: SSS
Class level: 1 [ 0 / 1000 ]
Class Perk:

Class Tree:
—> 1. Perfect Ingredient Execution.
—> 2. Precise Ingredient Fusion Pot.
—> 1. Recipe of Everything.
—> 2. Mystic Chef's Eyes.
'Whoa, I got four skills? And their names are absolute bangers.'
Ainen finally opened his eyes, but for a brief moment, his vision blurred. When it got cleared again, Ainen was met with clarity like never before.
'This…'
He was able to zoom in and zoom out, but that was not all. When he looked at plants, flowers, trees, and even his siblings, he could directly get information about their complete parameters and attributes.
An image of the tree he focused suddenly appeared in his head, showing him about the tree's nutritional and other values in detail.
'What the hell…these Mystic Chef's Eyes are crazy.'
Ainen read the details of the skills, feeling that these Mystic Eyes must complement those skills greatly.
[Perfect Ingredient Execution]
Cost: No cost.
Effect:
—> Target ingredients you want to use. Once targeted, all ingredients are perfectly prepared within seconds for you to cook.
—> If you have created a recipe with Recipe of Everything, the ingredients will be prepared according to the recipe.
'Wow. This will save a lot of my time!'
Ainen eagerly moved to check the second active skill.
[Precise Ingredient Fusion Pot]
-Cost: 100 Mana per ingredient.
-Effect:
—> Conjures a Mystic Pot that can encompass all ingredients, no matter the size. You can take various aspects of different ingredients by identifying them with your Mystic Chef's Eyes to create a new ingredient that has selected aspects.
'Holy shit…'
Ainen had no other words.
'Last one. Recipe of Everything. The name is already broken.'
[Recipe of Everything]
Type: Passive.
Cost: Your focus and creativity.
Effect:
—> As long as you focus and flow out your creativity when looking at ingredients using Mystic Chef's Eyes with pure intent of achieving unbound possibilities, you can produce a recipe.
—> The quality of the recipe depends on your focus level and resulting creativity.
'Now this is something that's fun.' Ainen grinned. 'It's wholly based on me.'
Competing was one of his best and most fun activities, either with other chefs or with himself.
Because always improving without an end was a motto, and that was what had brought him to the top of culinary on Earth, still, he had yet to reach the peak, and he didn't believe that there was a peak to culinary.
He refused to believe that.
'Man, I want to cook something right now. But not anything ordinary.' Ainen's eyes glinted with anticipation and thrill.
'To get more ingredients, I need to go on a hunt. I need to get powerful to get more exotic stuff.'
Ainen stood up and looked at Ron and Syl.
They were somewhat making crude Mana Blades, but they were breaking apart easily.
He smiled. 'There's nothing else better than discovering how something worked ourseleves. Once they take the first step, I'll teach them.'
Turning his head to the opposite direction, Ainen looked at the ground.
'I don't know how big the restaurant is, but from the image I am seeing, it should be no more than fifty meters long and wide.'
Ainen grinned and smashed his fists.
Blaze!
Flame Gauntlets welded with his arms as he activated Tyrant Mage's Arms.
'The cost is high. I can only maintain it for 20 seconds before it empties my Mana.'
The cost was percentage-based, costing him 5% per second, so no matter how strong he got, it would drain him in 20 seconds…unless.
'Time to increase its proficiency.'
Ainen focused and immediately began studying the activated skill's entire structure with his Mystic Eyes.
He couldn't contain his excitement when he saw the level of detail. New details popped up, blowing his mind, but then some details disappeared.
'What?' Ainen was taken aback, but then he realized. 'Is this related to my focus?'
The more focused he was, the greater the ocular powers of his Mystic Chef's Eyes.
Five seconds later, the gauntlets transformed into a far sleeker and fancier version, more condensed.
'I've made them twice as strong, haha.'
But it cost him additional Mana to give the fire attribute to the Gauntlet, and even more with the modification he did.
'Guess I am spending today mastering this skill.'
Ainen took a deep breath and used the heat in the atmosphere from the sun after taking control of it, creating heat pockets, trapping Mana, and absorbing it.
His current Mana Pool was [ 500/500 ], so it took him over ten seconds to fully recover his Mana.
And that was mainly because the atmospheric Mana was high in this forest, in this deeper part.
He could also feel that the foxes were also responsible for naturally attracting atmospheric mana, probably due to them being Adept-rank lifeforms.
Shaking his head, he focused and used Tyrant Mage's Arms again.
His proficiency had already increased to 19% with that short first session of training.
And with his second session, his proficiency went up to 28%.
The cost of the skill has been reduced to 4% Mana per second.
'Great.'
Next, Ainen adjusted the skill's structure during its activation period, doing it precisely without hurting himself thanks to the Mystic Chef's Eyes, and expanded the size of his Gauntlets, as well as giving them different forms.
Looking at the two sleek and searing blades that his hands transformed into, Ainen grinned. 'Yeah, the skill's name is not Tyrant Mage's Gauntlets, but Tyrant Mage's Arms.'
'And why should I be limited to the skill's original structure if I can improve it?'
'Time to cook this skill.'
