Chapter 28 - Chapter 28 – The Birth of Avengarde

Chapter 28 – The Birth of Avengarde

Sitting cross-legged on the white platform, Soma gazed down at the world below — decades passing in the span of seconds, continents breathing and shifting beneath a golden sun. A soft wind brushed his hair. Somewhere far beneath, the oceans glittered like living glass.

He stood slowly and checked the Soul Storage interface that shimmered before him.

Awakened Souls: over thirty-one million.

A smile tugged at his lips.

> "Let's go," he murmured. "It's time to create true, magical life."

In an instant, he vanished from the sky and appeared over the southern continent.

The land stretched endlessly — a harsh, beautiful wilderness of mountains and ash-colored plains. Ridges cut through the earth like scars, and wind carried the scent of stone and dust.

Closing his eyes, Soma summoned the Genesis Ring. Symbols spun around him in a halo of light.

He focused on the Creation Tab and began to write, his thoughts forming radiant words in the darkness.

---

Dragon —

A kilometer-long, majestic omnivorous creature.

As he wrote, the text flickered — a white screen appeared, trembling like a canvas of living light.

Soma blinked.

>"Is this… a new feature?" he murmured. "Can I draw here?"

He tried to visualize the perfect dragon — wings, scales, breath — but no matter how many times he tried, he couldn't create the creature he desired.

> "Alex," he called softly, "help me shape the dragon's image."

Moments later, the white page filled with color. Streams of red and blue energy painted across it, blending and swirling until two majestic dragons emerged — one crimson, one sapphire.

The red dragon had six curved horns and a body like living fire, scales gleaming with infernal heat.

The blue dragon shimmered with calm luminance, eyes deep and clear as ocean depths.

Below them, glowing options appeared. Soma studied them carefully.

He selected Yes.

The world trembled. The ground cracked with light. From the heart of the mountains, two colossal shadows rose. Their wings unfolded, scattering dust and lightning through the skies.

When their eyes opened, the world itself seemed to exhale.

Twin roars echoed across continents — a declaration of existence so vast it shook the sky.

Soma stood frozen, breathless before the creatures he had imagined into being.

Their beauty was terrifying. Their presence divine.

Then, with a faint smile, he vanished — reappearing beside the vast lake at the heart of the central continent.

---

He closed his eyes again, focusing on the Creation Tab.

> Next…

Elf —

Ten feet tall, slender....

As he began to write, the text glitched again — another white screen flickered into being. With Alex's aid, two figures formed — a male and a female elf.

At last, he create.

When the white screen appeared, he drew twelve-foot-tall giants with deep brown skin.

This time, Soma selected Yes, but did not store them in the Pocket Dimension.

He glanced over the emerald plains around him.

> "These green meadows will be perfect for them."

After releasing the ogres, he flew north — wind roaring against his face — until he reached the continent's northern edge. Below lay a vast plain of rich soil, crisscrossed by winding rivers.

He descended, opened a shimmering portal, and brought forth the unconscious humans.

Using his All-Seeing Eye, he began observing the humans.

Human — eight-foot-tall beings, adaptable and curious.

The area was rich in natural resources. He released the humans onto the fertile soil.

Rising again, he flew for countless hours but found no suitable place to release the next life. Then he spotted an archipelago scattered across turquoise seas.

Descending into the mossy shallows, he smiled faintly.

> "This will be the perfect home for the mermaids."

He opened the Pocket Dimension and released them into the crystalline waters.

When he looked closely at the unconscious mermaids, Soma was flabbergasted.

Each was nearly twelve feet long — their lower bodies fishlike, their upper halves human. They were breathtakingly beautiful, their bodies adorned with colorful pearls and rare gems unlike any Soma had ever seen.

As he used the All-Seeing Eye, text appeared before him.

As the mermaids drifted toward the deep sea, he rose and began flying northwest.

As he flew above the ocean, he suddenly felt a pull. Descending through the mist, he saw a black spirit — larger than himself — tearing through the ocean's surface. Narrowing his eyes, he activated the All-Seeing Eye. Instantly, glowing text appeared before him.

Divine soul

Born from the suffering, death, and destruction of billions of creatures.

Ability: Annihil — a power that corrupts and erodes all things.

Studying the description, Soma frowned. I need to understand how such a Divine Soul could be born, he thought.

The soul tried to break free, but the Rune's power was absolute. Little by little, it was drawn in and absorbed into Soma's body.

For several minutes, he endured the strange sensation before taking flight once more.

As he flew, he noticed a vast continent surrounded by mountains and blanketed with deep forests.

After descending near a towering ridge, he released the dwarves.

---

He hovered above, watching them take their first breaths beneath the open sky.

As he squinted his eyes, the information emerged.

Dwarf —

After being satisfied, he flew again. Then he gazed across the vast forest. From time to time, strange animal cries echoed through the shadows.

"How vast is this forest?" he asked..

> "Bigger than Australia," Alex replied.

> "Then the elves will thrive here," Soma said softly.

He entered the heart of the forest and laid down the two elves — still half-asleep, their skin faintly shimmering in the filtered light.

Before he could admire the elves' beauty, a sudden movement in the forest caught his eye.

A deer stepped into the clearing, its antlers gleaming as though carved from crystal.

For a moment, its eyes glowed. Then, from its antlers, a ball of fire erupted — streaking straight toward him.

> "What—? The deer can see me?"

The fireball exploded beside the elves, nearly killing them.

Soma realized instantly — it wasn't attacking him. It was trying to destroy the elves.

> "Alex, possess it!" he commanded.

Alex dove into the deer's body, but a moment later her voice trembled through his mind.

> "I… can't control it!"

Soma's heart lurched.

As he tried to find a way out, he spotted a twelve-foot boulder nearby, touched it, and absorbed it into his Pocket Dimension.

Then, soaring upward, he released the boulder directly above the deer.

THUD!

The stone struck true; the ground quaked, and the twisted creature collapsed, lifeless.

Soma exhaled a shaky breath.

> "If I'd been a second late… they would've died."

He looked toward the still forest, eyes narrowing.

> "I may be invincible in this world," he whispered, "but to protect others… I'll need a weapon worthy of a creator."

----

Soma rose from the ground, the wind brushing against his face. Closing his eyes, he let his voice echo silently through the fabric of creation.

> "Aurora. Kronos. Shom."

When he opened his eyes again, three divine figures stood before him.

They looked even more majestic than before — radiant silhouettes draped in cosmic light, their very presence warping the air like heat shimmering over a desert horizon.

They bowed deeply, their voices resonating in harmony — not through sound, but through the world itself.

> "We have come to serve, Supreme One."

Soma regarded them quietly, his tone calm but carrying the weight of command.

> "I have created six new species of life. I want you to protect them — until they can protect themselves."

The three divine beings lowered their heads once more.

> "As you wish, Supreme One," they replied in unison.

Before Soma departed, he stepped closer to Arora. Her form glowed with the soft radiance of dawn, her eyes shimmering with reverence. From soma's hand, a book of golden light emerged — bound in energy, its cover marked with rune's symbols.

> "This is the Book of Creation," he said. "Within it lie the records and designs of countless living beings. Continue my work — breathe life into them."

Arora bowed again, her expression serene. When she raised her head, Soma was already gone — vanished into a silent ripple of light that faded into the horizon.

---

Moments later, he reappeared upon the white platform floating high above the newborn world. The endless sky stretched around him, washed in hues of silver and pale blue. He closed his eyes and checked the Soul Storage display within the Genesis Ring.

> Awakened Souls Remaining: 25,000,920

Soma exhaled slowly. The number felt both immense and fragile.

He opened the Creation Tab and began to write.

---

Avengarde — The Eternal Blade

A divine weapon forged beyond the boundaries of reality.

It can assume any form — blade, spear, bow, or staff — responding to the Creator's will. Its edge never dulls, its body radiates eternal brilliance, and its strikes pierce through time and dimension alike. No force — physical or metaphysical — can withstand its cut.

Material: Fragment of a Stellar Core

suddenly a message appeared, upgrade required to the Genesis ring.

requires 10,000 Intelligent souls or 10,000,000 Awakened Souls to upgrade.

Yes / No

Upon selecting Yes, the fourth symbol glowed — then another message appeared.

Requirement: 20,000,000 Awakened Souls to create Avengarde.

Yes / No

He hesitated for a moment, then select yes.

Soma studied the words, thoughtful.

"I don't even have twenty million souls," he murmured. "Then… how can I possibly forge this?"

He scrolled further through the Creation Tab, searching for an answer — and then he saw it.

Beneath the Genesis interface, a faint new line pulsed with golden light.

Guardian Interface — Active

SOUL STORAGE

1. Soul Fragments: 1,800,290

2. Awakened Souls: 27,070,020

3. Intelligent Souls: 0

4. Transcendental Souls: 0

5. Immortal Souls: 0

6. Divine Souls: 0

---

Soma's eyes widened in realization.

> "The Guardians… they're collecting souls. And I can use them too."

A slow smile spread across his face.

Before opening his eyes, a new message appeared before him.

Avengarde — The Eternal Blade ( upgradable)

Require 1 divine soul.

Yes /No

Without hesitation, he selected Yes.

Smiling faintly, he opened his eyes.

A low hum filled the air — deep and resonant, as if the world itself trembled in anticipation of what was to come.

Then, in a blinding flash, energy coalesced before him.

A five-foot sphere appeared, floating gently above the white platform. Its surface shimmered like liquid metal, etched with living symbols and surrounded by five Rune Rings, each rotating in silent harmony.

Soma used the All-Seeing Eye to examine the weapon's new abilities.

Avengarde — The Eternal Blade (UPGRADE)

A divine weapon forged beyond the boundaries of reality.

It can assume any form — blade, spear, bow, or staff — responding to the Creator's will. An indestructible, autonomous being, it can grow infinitely. Its strikes pierce through time and dimension alike, and no force — physical or metaphysical — can withstand its cut.

Material: Fragment of a Stellar Core

Length: 5 feet

Mass: 9.8 trillion tonnes

Abilities-

Chaos Descent — The weapon emits dense chaotic mana and intense radiation, devastating everything within hundreds of kilometers. It deforms the land and leaves it lifeless for decades.

Annihil — The power of absolute destruction. A force that consumes all: matter, energy, soul, even law itself. When unleashed, it erases the boundary between existence and nothingness — returning all to eternal silence.

Soma gasped as he read the information.

Then he reached out.

The instant his fingers touched the sphere, it pulsed — and the air around him distorted violently.

A nearby boulder trembled, cracked, and broke apart — its structure unraveling molecule by molecule. Within seconds, the stone vaporized entirely, leaving behind only silence and drifting dust.

The sphere continued to hum softly, resonating with his heartbeat.

Soma stood still, staring at it — awe and reverence flickering in his eyes.

> "So this is Avengarde," he whispered.

Light from the sphere reflected across his face — cold and radiant.

> "A weapon capable of dividing worlds themselves."

Alex's light pulsed faintly beside him — as if even she could not find words before such power. The silence between them felt infinite, a moment suspended between creation and the promise of something greater yet to come.
