Chapter 41 - Destruction! Infinity!:-(goku's daddy)

The hunger for destruction inside Beerus grew wilder. His eyes glowed deep purple, and the power of a God of Destruction shook space itself, tearing reality apart.

Whis' restraints were blown away as Beerus' aura spread across the universe. Space trembled.

Bardock watched in shock. Beerus' power level was skyrocketing.

3,000... 3,500... 4,000... 4,500!!!

Beerus was completely consumed by rage, his destructive urge overflowing. His battle power nearly doubled in an instant.

Beerus snarled:

"It was luck you scratched a god! A mortal daring to challenge me… you've sealed your own fate. This time, I'll erase you completely! Even if it costs me the Seventh Universe itself, I'll take you with me!!"

His eyes burned red with madness. He no longer cared about consequences — Bardock had to die.

Bardock narrowed his eyes, sweat dripping.

"He's lost it… this is the true nature of a god. He calls mortals arrogant, but he's blinded by his own pride."

Still, Bardock clenched his fists. He didn't plan to back down.

"If you want to destroy me, Beerus… then try it! Let's see if you have the strength!"

Blue divine energy roared around Bardock, surging higher and higher. His bloodline burned within him, pushing his godly ki even further. His aura lit up the stars behind him, turning space into a sea of blue fire.

His power spiked again, climbing past anything he had reached before. This wasn't like before—his blood itself was burning. Whether he survived or not, he'd push beyond his limits.

The clash was set.

Beerus roared, his voice echoing through the void:

"DESTRUCTION!!!"

A colossal purple-red sphere of destruction formed in his hands. It grew and grew, swelling from ten thousand meters across to millions, crushing everything with its pressure.

Bardock answered, his own ki blazing. His palms shined with golden and blue lightning as he unleashed his ultimate technique:

"Twin Destroyer Rays!!!"

Two beams, golden and blue, spiraled together and tore through space like a raging dragon.

The two ultimate attacks collided—Beerus' massive Destruction Sphere against Bardock's Twin Destroyer Rays.

The universe shook. Stars shattered. Space twisted and collapsed. Energy waves devoured everything in their path.

Beerus laughed madly, bloodshot eyes wide.

"I'm done playing games, Saiyan! You're finished!!!"

But Bardock roared back, his aura bursting with blood-red lightning as he pushed his bloodline power even further. His Blue form warped, muscles bulging, energy cracking space itself. His battle power climbed to 6,000!

The Twin Destroyer Rays doubled in size, now blood-red and unstoppable.

Beerus' attack was forced back. His grin vanished.

"N-No… impossible!!"

The clash shook the cosmos—until suddenly, everything froze.

Both Bardock's Twin Destroyer Rays and Beerus' Destruction Sphere were erased in an instant. Space returned to silence.

Bardock gasped.

"Wh-what?! My strongest attack… erased like nothing?!"

Then, a calm, overwhelming voice echoed through the void:

"Though Father forbade me from interfering, if this battle continues, all will be lost. It ends here."

A figure of pure white light appeared between them, effortlessly dispersing both their attacks.

At that moment, both Beerus and Bardock froze, their eyes locking on the figure that appeared within the white light.

As the glow faded, the third presence revealed himself—none other than Whis, the Angel of Universe 7.

Bardock narrowed his eyes.

"So it's you… I should've known. Only you could've stopped that attack so easily."

He wasn't surprised. Who else but Whis could casually erase the strongest blows of both a God of Destruction and a Saiyan beyond his limits?

Bardock thought to himself:

"That moment… time itself froze. That's not the power of destruction. That's something above it… time itself. Only an Angel could pull that off."

Even standing close, Bardock could feel Whis' presence was far beyond Beerus. The calm energy radiating from him was terrifying—deeper than anything Bardock had ever sensed. Compared to Whis, even Beerus felt small.

Bardock clenched his fists.

"Even with my bloodline awakened, even as Super Saiyan Blue at my peak, I can't even grasp his level… Angels really are in another dimension."

Beerus growled, his anger spilling over.

"Whis!! Why did you stop me?! I was so close! Because of you, my final blow failed!!"

Whis turned, his expression calm but serious.

"Lord Beerus, had you continued, you might have destroyed Bardock… but you would have paid with your own life. And worse, the Seventh Universe itself may have perished with you."

Beerus' eyes widened. He clenched his teeth.

"Ridiculous! If you hadn't stepped in, he'd be gone! At worst, I'd sleep for a few thousand years!"

But deep down, Beerus knew Whis was right. That last clash would have left both him and Bardock broken—or worse, dead together.

Whis' tone sharpened:

"If you still wish to fight him to the death, I won't stop you. A God of Destruction can be replaced… but I fear even you cannot truly kill Bardock."

Beerus froze. "What… did he just say? That I can't kill him?"

Before he could demand an answer, Whis turned toward the far reaches of space. His voice was calm, but carried weight.

"You two have been watching long enough. Aren't you going to show yourselves?"

Bardock's eyes shot wide.

"What?! Someone else has been here this whole time?!"

Beerus snarled into the void.

"Whoever you are, show yourself!!"

A playful laugh echoed across the cosmos. Then, space twisted open—revealing Vados, Angel of Universe 6, alongside her master… Champa, the God of Destruction.

Beerus' face darkened the moment he saw them.

"Champa!! You fat oaf, what are you doing in my universe?!"

Champa smirked, arms crossed.

"Yo, Beerus~! Been a while, brother. You look pathetic—being pushed this far by a mere Saiyan."

Beerus' eye twitched, rage boiling.

"Hmph! You know the rules! Gods of Destruction aren't allowed to enter each other's universes without permission. You've crossed the line, Champa!"

Champa only chuckled.

"Oh relax, rules are meant to be bent. Maybe I'll even help you finish off this mortal."

Bardock stared them down, unfazed.

"So, another fat cat shows up, huh? Fine. If both of you want to fight me, come at me together. Makes no difference."

Champa's smirk faltered as Bardock's blood-fueled Blue aura flared, pressing down on him like a crushing wave. His face paled. He glanced nervously at Beerus.

But Beerus scoffed, refusing his brother's unspoken plea.

"Don't even think about it, Champa. I don't need your help. This is between me and him. Leave, before I erase you myself."

Champa growled, humiliated, but he couldn't deny the truth—Bardock's power terrified him. With a sharp breath, he turned to Vados.

"We're leaving."

Vados smiled faintly.

"Until next time, brother."

And just like that, Champa and Vados vanished into the void at lightspeed.

But Bardock, Beerus, and Whis all knew… their sudden appearance, and even quicker retreat, wasn't as simple as it looked.
