"Nice expression."
Satoru nodded in satisfaction, a faint, confident smile playing on his lips. "Don't hold back now. Show me everything you've got—all your swordsmanship."
"As you wish," Yuki whispered, a competitive fire igniting in her striking blue eyes.
In a fraction of a second, she vanished entirely from her spot.
Utilizing the blistering, high-speed movement characteristic of a Knight piece, she flickered in and out of view, continuously materializing around Satoru to rain down a barrage of fierce sword strikes from every conceivable angle.
Yet, much like their very first clash, every single blow was met and parried by Satoru with effortless, almost casual precision.
From the sidelines, Koneko's eyes widened. "So strong…"
Rias crossed her arms under her chest, her brilliant crimson eyes narrowing with a mixture of shock and awe.
"Compared to last night, Satoru's overall strength has multiplied by several levels. He has completely assimilated the power granted by the Devil Pieces."
Akeno added, her finger resting thoughtfully against her lips as she watched the spar unfold.
"Normally, newly born Devils require days, if not weeks, of grueling adaptation just to control that kind of influx of demonic energy. But Satoru-kun... he adapted in minutes."
"And look at his sword,"
Akeno's smile thinned as she observed closely, her violet eyes gleaming with fascination.
"At the start, he was purely relying on raw, brutal physical stats to brute-force his way through Yuki's assaults. But now? His form is shifting, refining itself in real-time."
Right before their eyes, Satoru's technique was evolving at an astronomical rate.
What had begun as an evenly matched, chaotic exchange was rapidly shifting into a brutal, one-sided domination.
After a few more breathless minutes of relentless pressure, Satoru seized a microscopic opening in Kiba's evasion pattern.
With a sharp twist of his wrists, he swept his wooden sword upward, cleanly disarming the blonde girl and sending her blade clattering into the grass.
Before Yuki could even process what had happened, Satoru closed the distance with a single, decisive step, raising his wooden sword and stopping the tip a mere fraction of an inch away from Yuki's throat.
Yuki froze, staring down the wooden point with a bitter, self-deprecating smile. "I... I lost."
In the span of just ten minutes, she had witnessed a living miracle—a human turned devil who had completely rewritten the rules of combat acquisition.
The rigid worldview she had built over years of intensive training shattered into dust, leaving Yuki to finally understand the exact dizzying, helpless awe Koneko had felt the night before.
"Well fought," Satoru said, a bright smile breaking across his face as a notification chimed silently in his mind.
[System Notice]
Congratulations on successfully defeating Kiba Yuki. You have unlocked the Blue-tier Trait : [Magic Sword Creation].
[Magic Sword Creation (Blue): Consume a certain amount of stamina or magic power to create magic swords of different attributes.]
'Not bad.'
He smiled inwardly. Before his physique reached the next threshold, a weapon would be invaluable. Still, with his current slot limit.
Satoru mentally stored the new Trait away, highly satisfied with the morning's harvest.
"That was a truly breathtaking match," Rias said, stepping forward with a radiant, approving smile, her red hair catching the morning sun.
"Satoru-kun, your rate of growth exceeds even my wildest expectations."
"How strong would you rank me right now?" Satoru asked, lowering his weapon.
Rias considered his question carefully, her expression turning analytical. "Judging solely by the explosive power and technical mastery you just displayed, you are comfortably sitting at the upper-middle tier of Intermediate Devils."
Satoru frowned slightly, crossing his arms. "Only an Intermediate Devil, huh..."
To Rias and the others, that was an incredible milestone for a beginner. But to Satoru, who knew the scale of the supernatural world, it felt entirely inadequate.
There were far too many apocalyptic threats walking the earth. Even High-Class Devils could easily find themselves facing absolute annihilation if they crossed the wrong entity.
I need to push myself harder, Satoru thought, his jaw tightening with quiet resolve. Training can't stop here.
Sensing his inner turmoil, Rias stepped closer, offering a gentle, reassuring smile.
"Don't be too hard on yourself. To achieve this level of combat power after awakening just a week ago... your progression is nothing short of monstrous."
"Speaking of which," Akeno chimed in, tilting her head playfully as she sauntered over, her feminine curves swaying with graceful elegance.
"We've seen your swordsmanship and your physical stats, Satoru-kun. But what about your actual Sacred Gear? You never showed us."
"Sacred Gear? Oh, this?" Satoru lifted his wrist, gesturing casually to a sleek, unassuming bracelet resting there, briefly outlining its healing capabilities.
Akeno blinked in surprise. "It heals injuries? Then what about that incredible Boost ability you used earlier? Isn't that part of the Sacred Gear?"
"it's an innate ability of mine,"
Satoru replied smoothly, fabricating the excuse without missing a beat.
As far as the supernatural world was concerned, a miracle-working prodigy who absorbed eight pieces at once having a bizarre innate trait wasn't completely out of the question.
Rias nodded in acceptance. "Innate abilities do exist. Some bloodlines carry unique powers…"
Innate, genetic techniques were rare, but they existed. For instance, human sorcerers specializing in cursed energy exorcism often possessed innate bloodline traits.
The most famous example was the current strongest active Jujutsu Sorcerer—Gojo Satomi.
She possessed the legendary Six Eyes, paired with the Limitless technique, It granted her power equal to that of a Ultimate-Class Devil.
"Exactly." Satoru gave a small shrug.
"Ah, right, President," Yuki said, finally brushing off her defeat as she stepped back into the group, a serious look replacing her previous disappointment.
"I nearly forgot. We received an official communique from Tokyo Jujutsu High this morning. They're sending an escort next week to reinforce the seals on one of the Sukuna fingers stored in our jurisdiction."
"…Sukuna's finger?"
Satoru raised an eyebrow, a flicker of curiosity crossing his face.
Yuki nodded, crossing her arms under her ample tits pushing them up unconsciously.
"Ryomen Sukuna was the undisputed Queen of Curses a thousand years ago—a bloodthirsty human sorcerer who lived solely to challenge and slaughter powerful adversaries."
"Because of her fanatical obsession with battle," Yuki continued, her voice dropping into a warning tone.
"Sukuna crossed a line a millennium ago and provoked an entity with an unimaginably volatile temper—a true transcendent monster."
"After finally striking Sukuna down, that mysterious powerhouse cursed her with a punishment worse than death. Sukuna's soul was shattered into twenty indivisible fragments, sealed within her mummified fingers to endure eternal, agonizing torment."
