Chapter 183 - FTG Chapter 182: A Family of Three

Autumn, X691.

It was exactly during the Harvest Festival of Magnolia, the grandest day of the year.

Weston, Mavis, and Zera held a solemn wedding ceremony at Kardia Cathedral.

All the guild partners and the residents of Magnolia came to participate in the grand event, offering their blessings.

"Master Weston, Miss Mavis, and Miss Zera, the three of you must stay happy forever!!"

Residents who rushed to join the wedding blended into the crowd, cupping their hands around their mouths like megaphones and shouting at the top of their lungs.

It was as if the ones getting married weren't Weston, Mavis, and Zera, but themselves.

"If they hadn't come to Magnolia back then, crushed Blue Skull, and established Fairy Tail to save this town, we'd probably still be living lives worse than death!"

"Yeah, yeah... Master Weston, Mavis, and Zera are our greatest benefactors!"

In the front row of the wedding, Yuri, Precht, and Warrod listened to the conversations of the residents behind them and smiled knowingly.

Yuri made a face and said: "While I really want to say the three of us are also benefactors of Magnolia, would it be too inappropriate to complain at a time like this?"

A rare look of relaxation appeared in the depths of Precht's eyes: "Since you know that, don't say it out loud!"

Warrod nudged Yuri's shoulder with his elbow and gave a teasing smile: "Yuri, you're purely jealous that Weston can hold such a grand wedding, aren't you?!"

"Ha?! I am not—"

Just as Yuri was about to argue, the sound of "hee-hee-hee" laughter came from above his head.

The three looked up in unison at the sound, only to see Makarov riding on Yuri's head, grinning widely and clapping his small hands, laughing joyfully.

"Look, even Makarov is laughing at you!"

"You shouldn't lie; as a father, you should set a good example for your child, right?!"

The teasing from his two brothers instantly made Yuri frantic. He couldn't help but raise a hand and swat Makarov's bottom: "Ahhh... you stinking brat, just wait until you grow up and see if I don't settle scores with you!!"

"You'd better hope Rita doesn't hear that, otherwise it'll be disastrous when you get home!"

"I'm sorry, but I've already heard it."

Rita's voice came from behind, and Yuri's body instantly froze.

Turning around with difficulty, what met his eyes was indeed Rita's "gentle" smiling face.

"Tha... that... Rita... that was just me and Makarov playing a close father-son game, you wouldn't take it seriously, right?"

"Of course, how could I take it seriously?"

Rita smiled as she picked Makarov up off Yuri's head and walked away without saying another word.

"Rita is truly a gentle wife!"

"Exactly!"

Watching her departing back, Warrod and Precht couldn't help but sigh in admiration, while Yuri...

He was breaking out in a cold sweat, wanting to cry but having no tears.

It was over!

When he got home tonight, Rita was definitely going to complain to him severely!

Forget it, forget it...

He would worry about that later!

"Speaking of which, when do you two plan to get married?"

Among the six First Generation Fairies, only Precht and Warrod remained bachelors. Yuri couldn't help but concern himself with his brothers' life-long events.

Warrod scratched his head awkwardly: "Well... I guess it depends on fate!"

Precht also had a flat expression: "I don't have those vulgar desires."

"Huh? Are you actually normal?"

"What's so strange about it? Like us dragons, we don't have the concept of forming a family. If we like someone, we show affection, leave after sleeping—isn't that convenient for both parties?"

Licht appeared out of nowhere and naturally inserted himself into the trio's conversation.

To avoid causing concern among the public, Weston had not announced Licht's identity as a dragon, but he had told the other five members of the First Generation Fairies.

"Where did you pop out from?"

"Don't compare me to you!"

Precht's face was covered in black lines from Licht's words: "I have simply dedicated myself to magic; I am not a beast!"

Licht was not offended by being called a "beast"; instead, he looked astonished: "Then you're even more of a pervert than I am!"

"..."

Bang! Bang! Bang!!!

Saluting cannons fired in unison, and colorful ribbons fluttered through the air.

Led by Morgan and Sura, over two hundred Exceeds dressed in bright formal wear formed a heart shape in the sky while firing cannons to clear the path.

Following that, the band played music.

Under the witness of everyone, Weston, Mavis, and Zera walked arm-in-arm across the red carpet to the high platform of the cathedral. Under the presidency of the priest, they exchanged tokens and made vows to stay together for a lifetime, unwavering until death.

The pure white wedding dresses and the girls' blushing cheeks became the most beautiful painting Weston had ever seen in his life.

This year, Weston was 21, while Mavis and Zera were 18.

A brand-new life, of course, required a brand-new look.

So, after getting married, the three of them bid farewell to their original small home and moved into a new house.

Their new home was a large villa no smaller than the guild, complete with a courtyard and a swimming pool. The overall decoration followed a "high-end, atmospheric, and classy; low-key, luxurious, and meaningful" style. It was a property Weston had personally prepared.

It was built in the southern district of Magnolia, only a ten-minute walk from the guild, and was convenient for both the market and the commercial district.

Of course, to prevent the new home from being destroyed by rowdy partners, Weston did not invite everyone to his villa for the celebration, but instead held the wedding banquet in the guild.

That day, everyone sang and danced in the guild.

Everyone got dead drunk and played to their heart's content, indulging themselves for the entire day.

At nightfall.

The three of them, exhausted after the long day, finally returned to their little nest of love.

As soon as they entered the door, Mavis and Zera didn't even take off their wedding dresses before simultaneously letting out a "plop" and burying themselves in the soft, warm sofa, closing their eyes tightly.

"Whew... it's finally over!"

"Zera, you have to take off the wedding dress to sleep properly..."

"But I don't have an ounce of strength left, and this wedding dress is so troublesome to take off..."

Weston locked the door and walked over slowly, his gaze resting quietly on the sofa.

This sofa was something he had strictly selected; it was soft and huge, capable of both sitting and lying down—it was more than enough even if one wanted to exercise on it.

Neither girl had a particularly plump figure, but they lacked any discipline in their lying posture. Now, lying side-by-side like this, they instantly occupied most of the space on the sofa.

Weston had originally wanted to lie on the sofa to rest as well, but since there was no room left, he had to settle for the next best thing—lying on top of the two girls.

It really was soft!

"Don't worry, I'll help you take off these wedding dresses!"
