Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Total Conversion

Alex couldn't contain his excitement as he scrolled through the game data and reviews. This was exactly the strong start he'd been hoping for. His prediction had been correct Avatar hadn't just caused a viewing sensation in his previous life, but adapted as a dungeon, it could create a gaming phenomenon in this world too.

"Boss, boss, Avatar just hit the trending topics!" David shouted excitedly.

Alex perked up and quickly looked at the screenshot David sent. Sure enough, there was Avatar sitting at number 32 on the trending list.

The Infinite Realms gaming community had functions similar to Twitter from his previous life, providing players with a platform for social interaction and communication. It also attracted many game streamers, content creators, and influencers.

The community's trending list was similar to Twitter's trending topics from his previous life, and it carried serious weight in the Infinite Realms gaming circle, with considerable exposure potential.

Making it onto the trending list indirectly proved that Avatar had captured players' enthusiasm.

Just as he was secretly celebrating, a message notification from the dungeon supplier backend suddenly popped up on Alex's computer. When he looked closer, Alex nearly jumped for joy.

"Congratulations on receiving official Infinite Realms recommendation - Exceptional New Content spotlight. If you have any questions, please contact us immediately!"

"Holy shit, we got an official recommendation!" Alex jumped up from his chair excitedly.

David immediately rushed over and asked excitedly, "Boss, what kind of recommendation?"

"Exceptional New Content!" Alex said.

"Oh my god, boss, this thing is really taking off. This is the first time I've seen this recommendation spot given out for free! This recommendation is incredible. My previous company had to pay money to get this kind of placement—thirty to eighty thousand dollars per day!" David said excitedly.

"It really is the Exceptional New Content recommendation. My previous company never received any free recommendations from the platform. Our manager said that companies that get free recommendations are basically recognized by the platform as masterpieces or exceptional works!" Tom said in surprise.

"Haha, our game is definitely recognized as a masterpiece. Getting high-quality new content status right from the start—that's amazing!" David was even happier than Alex.

Although Alex hadn't known the value of this recommendation spot before, when he used to play games, every time he entered the game, this Exceptional New Content recommendation would appear on the main interface. He'd habitually check it every day to see if there were any new and interesting dungeons.

So the exposure from this recommended position was absolutely incredible. From this perspective, his dungeon had indeed been officially recognized.

It had been a long time since Isabella had been so eager to enter Infinite Realms. Bored last night, she'd entered the Infinite Realms world that she hadn't played in ages to see if there were any new and interesting dungeons to entertain herself.

She'd accidentally noticed the official recommendation for "Avatar." The name seemed strange at the time, so she clicked on the promotional video out of curiosity.

She was instantly attracted by the novel worldview in it. She was a traveler and adventurer in the game herself. She loved all kinds of bizarre dungeon worlds, and also liked to collect and buy various strange plant props to decorate the garden in her home.

The world constructed in Avatar directly touched her heart, especially when she entered the dungeon and played the scene where Jake went out on missions and saw the dreamlike Pandoran jungle—Isabella was completely captivated.

It's worth mentioning that Infinite Realms players could spend money to buy land and islands in the game to build private territories and call them homes.

Then they could obtain construction materials, decorative items, etc. through game tasks or by purchasing them in the mall to decorate their own territories.

Players could build houses, castles, or even cities in their own territories, and they could also create their own forest parks there.

As long as the player was willing, they could build almost anything in it, and could also gather creatures, plants, and buildings from different realms and different dungeons to their own territory.

For example, Isabella had built a fairy-tale world on her own territory, where there was a beautiful castle, a garden full of exotic flowers and plants, green landscapes, and many strange little animals. She called her home Alice's Wonderland.

It was a fairy tale she'd heard when she was very young, and it was also her favorite fairy tale, so she kept collecting and buying exotic flowers and plants in the game to decorate her fairy tale dream.

Many of the plants she grew in her garden were limited edition decorative flora, and she'd spent a lot of money to buy them.

Isabella had originally thought she'd created the Alice in Wonderland from the fairy tale, but when she saw the planet Pandora and the jungle scene at night, she realized that that was the Alice in Wonderland of her dreams.

She fell deeply in love with this beautiful planet and was impressed by its creator. What kind of person could create such a beautiful world?

It was a shame that those beautiful flower and plant decorations weren't available for purchase in the mall yet, otherwise she would definitely move Pandora's dream forest to her own garden.

She logged into her game account, and accompanied by familiar music, a character who looked very cool and distinctive appeared in a garden full of exotic flowers and plants. At the end of the green path ahead was a castle, and the sound of birdsong and floral fragrances floated all around.

This was Isabella's home in the game.

After logging into the character, Isabella opened her dungeon collection bar and clicked on the "Avatar" dungeon at the top.

"Time travel activated!" the game's notification sounded. "Your character will be replaced with the game's avatar character Jake Sully. Do you agree?"

"I agree!" Isabella said.

"Time travel successful, welcome to Pandora."

As the system sound disappeared, Isabella's game character appeared under the Na'vi people's Home Tree.

Last night, Isabella had been shocked to see this towering tree that was taller and more magnificent than a skyscraper. But thinking that such a beautiful tree was going to be destroyed was really heartbreaking!

At the car modification shop.

"Holy shit, you actually made a game?" Jake said in surprise.

"Is it real?" Danny also looked skeptical.

"Of course it's real. Do you want to try it? It's fun!" Alex said.

"Forget it, you know I hate playing online games. Just show me the gameplay!"

"Yeah, I don't even have an account!"

"You can only experience the true essence and fun by playing it yourself!" Alex continued, "And it's easy to register an account now. My dungeon has no level restrictions!"

"I really don't like playing!" Danny and Jake shook their heads and refused.

"No, you absolutely have to support me today!" Alex forcibly pushed Danny and Jake into the game pods, then instructed them both on how to operate the system.

An hour later...

"Holy shit, this planet is so beautiful!"

"Alex, how do I get through here? Tell me how to get through quickly! I've died so many times!"

"Damn, why did I die again? Do I need to pay to resurrect on the spot?"

"Haha, Danny, I've learned how to fly the banshees. This is awesome!"

"Oh my god, Jake, how did you do that? I've fallen to my death several times trying to reach the floating mountains!"

Looking at the two friends who had constantly tried to pull him away from online games and were now successfully pulled into the game themselves, Alex nodded with satisfaction.
