The Kingdom of Fiore!
A neutral nation on the continent of Ishgar, home to over 17 million people.
This was a world where magic reigned supreme. Those capable of using magic were known as mages. To gain official recognition, most mages needed to join a guild. Over time, countless mage guilds had formed, each taking on requests, ranging from monster hunting to simple deliveries.
Magic in this world comes in many forms, but is broadly categorized into three main types:
Holder Magic relied on magical tools paired with the user's magic power. Examples include Celestial Spirit Magic and Requip Magic.
Caster Magic was based on training the user's internal magic, expressed through elemental or force-based spells such as Earth, Water, Fire, or Wind.
Special Magic encompassed everything that didn't fit into the first two categories, including Take Over Magic and Possession Magic—abilities that harnessed external forces or allowed users to assume the form of other entities.
Beyond these were rare and mysterious branches collectively known as Ancient Magic, Lost Magic, or Arcane Magic—powerful spells so unique they defied conventional classification.
And the magic used by the person currently standing in front of Ur?
It belonged to one of those long-forgotten, powerful types: Dragon Slayer Magic.
Formidable magic designed for one sole purpose: to slay dragons.

Back on Earth, Wei Yi had been a bit of a shut-in. He wasn't exactly a hardcore otaku, but familiar enough with the Fairy Tail universe. However, some of the finer details had faded with time.
Still, he mentally pieced together everything he could recall, endless chatter pouring from Natsu's mouth.
Gradually, the puzzle pieces began to fall into place.
Erza just passed the S-Class Mage trial, which means she's fifteen now. Natsu's fourteen. The main story begins when the protagonist turns eighteen… so the plot won't start for another four years.
Wei Yi used that rough estimate to place himself on the timeline. He didn't know the exact year, so he relied on the characters' ages to estimate the timeline.
Based on their conversation so far, he deduced that the original owner of his current body had been a bit of a loner.
Which, surprisingly, was good news.
With a low social profile, Wei Yi—now Ur—blends in unnoticed and is far less likely to be exposed as an imposter.

Just as Ur was about to ask Natsu a few more questions, a young, high-pitched voice rang out from across the distance.
"Hey Natsu~ Let's go eat! I heard we're having fish for lunch!"
"Really, Happy!?"
Natsu practically sprang into the air at the mention of food, then turned to Ur with a big grin. "C'mon, Ur, let's go eat!"
"Uh... sure."
Ur gave a polite nod in response, but his attention wasn't on Natsu. Instead, his gaze was fixed on the source of that high-pitched voice.
It wasn't a person.
It was… a cat.
A small, blue kitten with big eyes, and a tiny pair of wings flapping gently from its back.
Utterly adorable.
This was Happy, Natsu's iconic partner from the Fairy Tail series. A magical creature from another world.
Though still young, Happy's wings carried him over to Natsu's shoulder with a few clumsy flaps. Once it landed, he stood upright on two legs and waved a paw toward Ur.
Right now, Happy was still a kitten. His tiny wings fluttered unsteadily as he flew over and landed on Natsu's shoulder. Once perched, he tucked his wings in, stood on his hind legs, raised a paw, and cheerfully greeted Ur.
"Aye, sir! Long time no see, Ur!"
"Hey there, Happy," Ur replied with a grin. He had to admit—Happy was even cuter in real life than in the anime.
"Ur, let's go eat! They said we're having fish today!" Just mentioning fish made Happy drool uncontrollably, his eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"Sounds good," Ur nodded. His body did need some fuel if he wanted to stay on his feet.
He took a step forward, ready to follow Natsu and Happy to the cafeteria—but then, without warning, a pair of strong arms wrapped around his waist and hoisted him off the ground.
"What the—?!"
"Wahaha! Ur, you walk way too slow. Lemme carry you instead!"
Natsu grinned like a maniac, his teeth shining, and Ur's gut dropped.
He had a very, very bad feeling about this.

Cafeteria Hall
The sounds of clanging utensils and slurping soup echoed like a battlefield. Natsu and Happy were devouring their food at breakneck speed, chopsticks flying, bowls clattering.
Ur, meanwhile, lay slumped across the table, limbs aching, barely alive after his "transport." Being hauled around by Natsu had felt like riding a rollercoaster… without the safety bar.
He'd known Natsu was a bit of a blockhead in the anime, but this? This was next-level. He was on a whole new level of dumb.
It took Ur more than ten minutes to recover. Finally, he reached out with a trembling hand and grabbed a bowl of porridge, sipping it slowly.
When hunger turns to starvation, the body begins to shut down. Even if food is right in front of you, the appetite vanishes.
Ur was precisely at that stage.
"Ur, you're still eating just as little as before… munch munch…" Natsu said, cheeks puffed out like a hamster's.
"Aye, sir… munch munch…" Happy echoed, chewing on a fish.
"…"
"By the way, Natsu, can I ask you a few things?" Ur seized the opportunity to squeeze more intel from the walking, talking plot device beside him.
He needed information. And to be fair, Natsu was the perfect source: blunt, naïve, and endlessly talkative.
There was no denying it. Natsu was the prototype of every shonen protagonist rolled into one: naïve, loud, reckless, and just plain dumb. Ur had always wondered how a guy like this survived until the end of the series.
If Ur had been born as a villain in this world, having an enemy like Natsu would've made world domination a breeze.
That said, if you were on his side, he had to admit—Natsu wasn't half bad. And sure enough, as soon as Ur asked, Natsu spilled the beans without hesitation.
As he'd guessed, he lived in an orphanage jointly run by several mage guilds, including Fairy Tail. It existed to take in and raise children rescued during guild missions. The orphanage also taught the basics of magic, and any child who successfully learned could choose to join one of the sponsoring guilds.
When Natsu had first been taken in by Fairy Tail's guild master, Makarov, he'd spent some time here as well. It was during that period that he met Ur.
Of course, Natsu hadn't stayed long. Since Natsu had been raised by a dragon and had already trained in Dragon Slayer Magic, he didn't remain at the orphanage long before being officially accepted into the Fairy Tail Guild.
As for why Ur never appeared in the original story?
Well…
No explanation needed.
