Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 - My First Harem… or So I Thought

After a while, crawling like a snail and putting every foot down with care, he was still nowhere near the exit of the forest.

Then his ears caught something. [Super Hearing] picked up a sound, faint but sharp. It was a cry. Not just any cry, but a cry for help. A scream, a girl's scream, someone crying for help.

Liu Yang froze, his heart jumping. He could sense the distance between him and the location from where the cry was coming. It was far, too far, but clear in his head.

"A girl in need of help," he muttered. "As a former human and a current demon… it's my duty to save her."

With a wide grin in his face. "Run Liu Yang, run, you have a higher Agility stat!"

He pushed himself forward. His body shot ahead through the thick forest. He moved like a snake, sliding between branches, avoiding every pothole and every root.

"What the fuck…" his voice cracked, half laugh, half shock. "Is this my power? So light… I'm flying… here!"

His eyes widened with shoch and his heart was pumping fast with excitement. He was shocked and amazed at his own body.

He couldn't believe it was him. He felt light, so light, like his feet barely touched the ground, like he was running on clouds and floating on the moon.

The trees rushed past his eyes like blur, the forest sliding like a moving picture.

He realized his [Night Vision] wasn't just for seeing in the dark. It worked like a telescope too. He could see far, so far, with details clear like glass, the way normal eyes could only see through a scope.

For a second his grin twitched wider. "Heh… finally my eyes are good for something. Not just crying like girls."

As he was reaching the location and the cry was coming nearer, he could hear her voice far more clear, like he was just about to reach her.

His grin stretched wide. "Just wait two minutes, my first harem, I am coming."

He whispered to himself, his face red. "Yes, you will be mine. I will jump in like a hero, I will save you, and you will look at me with love in your eyes. Who needs skills to get women? I have the hero entry, the hero heart, the hero face—well… okay, not the face—but still the hero soul!"

He kept running. His legs moved fast, his breath rough, but his mind was somewhere else. He was daydreaming. He could see it in his head, clear, vivid, like it was happening right now.

In his mind he was beating the bad guys, dodging their attacks with cool flips, his punches landing hard, they went flying into the air like broken dolls and crashing on ground.

The girl cried out in joy, her arms stretched toward him.

"Oh my hero Liu Yang, you saved me."

And he laughed, chest out, hair flying in the wind. He stood tall, smiling like a champion.

"Oh, my darling, it's nothing. It's the job of a hero."

Then the girl grabbed his face, pressed her lips on his, kissing him soft and deep.

[Daydreaming Activated]

He didn't even notice the words flashing in front of his eyes. He didn't even notice how his body reacted. Inside his pants something rose up, poking hard, excitement running wild through his whole body, blood pumping fast in his veins.

His pants growing tight. A warm thick wet patch started forming under the zipper, sliding down slow, leaving a mark, as he didn't need hands to do that due to his skill Daydreaming.

And then he broke through the bushes.

He had arrived.

What he saw was not like his dream. Soldiers. They were soldiers. Their hands were tearing the clothes of a girl. The fabric was ripped, hanging loose, barely covering her chest and the lower part of her body. She was struggling, crying, but held down.

She was barely holding her chest with one arm, her lower waist with the other, trying to hide, but her skin showed through in the gaps.

Her body was trembling like she was cold, trembling like every breath hurt, trembling like she wanted to disappear but her body would not let her.

Her lips pressed tight, her eyes were closed, not because she wanted to but because she was too scared to look. The fear was clear as her eyes were shut tight, the way her face twisted, the way her head turned away.

The soldiers around her were laughing, loud and rough, their voices echoing under the trees.

Their eyes were moving up and down on her body, slow, like they were licking her with just their stare.

Some of them even bit their lips, grinning, their mouths curling, like they wanted to lean down and drag their tongues across her chest and lower part where her hands were shaking to cover.

The wicked laugh kept going, cruel and mocking, filling the forest like it was a feast for them and she was just the meat on the table.
