Behind him she was still talking, her words bouncing around the cave walls, following him out.
Liu Yang groaned, head dropping low. "This… this is the true penalty…"

Her voice bounced, sharp in his ears. She clenched her fist, swaying it in the air. "Are we going to kill humans? Make them pay?"
His head hurt. It wasn't just pain, it was like something hammering inside, again and again, never stopping.
Her voice kept pouring into his ears, not words anymore, just noise, like water dripping forever, like a nail scratching against stone.
His temples pulsed, each beat louder, harder, until it felt like his skull would split apart.

Her whole body shivered sudden like sparks running wild through her veins.
Her breath caught and stayed stuck in her chest while his face leaned down closer closer so close the heat of his breath slid across her lips hot enough to make her head spin.
Her eyes went wide glowing faint red while her cheeks burned hot the color rising quick like fire spreading across her skin.
Her body trembled her hands curled weak against his chest but she didn't push him away she stayed there caught between fear and something else she couldn't name.
Their breaths mixed warm and heavy filling the space between them.
His chest pressed against hers soft meeting hard and her body shivered the touch sending a sharp sensation crawling fast up her spine until her whole back felt like it was on fire.
He didn't stop his lips crashed onto hers deep rough hungry his hand sliding across her back his fingers tracing her shape pressing her closer until there was no space left between them.
Her lips quivered her knees weak her breath spilling out into him.
His tongue brushed against her lip slowly teasing before his teeth caught it playful sharp enough to sting just enough to make her gasp the sound slipping out of her throat before she could hold it back.
When he pulled back his lips, his lips were wet. Then again he licked them slowly, her eyes were closed tight.
