Chapter 8 - The Silent Forest

The forest had gone completely quiet, as if someone had ordered it to be still. There was no breeze, no cry of any animal, not even the chirping of birds — an eerie, absolute silence. It felt as if some great predator had gone out hunting and the whole forest had frozen in fear.

I hesitated for a moment, then mustered my courage and moved forward. At one spot I saw seven lions together — all of them in one place. I had always believed that only one lion lived in a forest; seeing seven together surprised me.

Without thinking, I attacked them. There were seven of them and I was alone, but I kept fighting. I received many injuries, yet I refused to give up. I cried out in pain — ahh, it hurt so much. I thought I was finished. Anger flared inside me, and with my speed power I struck all of them at once. I spun so fast around them that I took away each of their powers without killing them. They became weak and surrendered; after I had taken their powers they fell unconscious.

I felt pity for them, so I gathered them together and looked around for a safe place. Nearby I found a cave. One by one I carried the lions into the cave and then hunted a buffalo to leave for them to eat. Killing the buffalo did not take long — it was already dusk. After that I moved on and saw a very beautiful butterfly. It was so pretty that I became mesmerized and followed it.

While following the butterfly, I wandered to the far edge of the forest without realizing it. I was lucky: my foot got stuck in a log and I fell; only then did I regain my senses. If I had kept chasing the butterfly like that, I might have fallen into a deep hole. I was saved.

Nearby, I found a flexible branch and a bell vine on a banyan tree. From the wood I made a bow, and soon I had arrows too. I returned, and again the same beautiful butterfly landed on a rose. I was enchanted — determined to catch it somehow, thinking it might be useful later.

So I calmly began to weave a small net to catch it. Just as I was making it, the butterfly flew away, but soon landed on a yellow flower. The moment it settled, I quickly threw my net — luck was against the butterfly this time and it got trapped.

I made a small, comfortable cage for it and put it inside. Now I realized I had lost my way. Because I had been so mesmerized following the butterfly, I had no idea where I had come from or how I had reached this place.

I decided I must find my way back to the place where we were supposed to meet. I started to retrace my steps, making little marks along the way so I would know whether I was returning or moving forward.

A short distance ahead I saw a white horse in the forest. What was strange was that it had wings — this horse could fly. It was white and very beautiful.

I approached slowly and leapt onto its back. Suddenly the horse began to buck and run wildly, trying to throw me off. I held on, and it flew into the sky, turning upside down as we rose and soared through the air.

I lost my balance and narrowly avoided falling. I tightened my grip and held the horse tightly.

The horse was also flying high in the sky and was trying its best to make me fall. But I was also trying to protect myself. And I wanted to make that horse my friend.

I didn't want to make it my slave, but that horse also now understood that it was more powerful than me.

I agree with him, the horse flew high in the sky, tried to make me fall, couldn't, so it came back down and stopped.

I jumped down from above him and stroked his head and gave him a loving name, that name was very loving.

I named him Rishabh, I named him, this name also suits him.I asked her, Rishabha shook her head and I understood that she liked this name. Then I talked to him and said, I have lost my way, can I go to my friend's place? Rishbha nodded her head and I sat on her then both of us went towards the sky I was looking from the sky in the forest to see if I could see Shivam anywhere near him but I was not able to see anything clearly. I used my power but I could not see Shivam far away anywhere. Then I went further up and saw the same village where we both had gone separately. I saw with my strength that there were some constables in that village who were somehow taking away the villagers who were made of stone.I told Rishabh, friend, let's go faster, otherwise Shivam might get into trouble. Hearing my words, Rishabha and Tej got up and left the village for a short duty in the forest.I told Rishabh to stay here or else go and come when I call you. Having said this I came near Shivam.

I slowly went towards Shivam until the wind started blowing in the forest. It was a nice cool breeze and the rustling sound of leaves was also coming in it. I also went near him and said slowly Shivam, hearing my voice he got scared and said hey hey you are crazy, do you have any brain, I was looking here, where is Shainik taking these people and you are here I am having fun, let's see where this blog is taking me, do these people remember you? I met that girl and she asked for our help and we have to kill that devil, otherwise he will become very powerful today.
