Chapter 9 - Chapter 9:-The hidden door

Sannya and Taarush were searching for Jeen. They looked everywhere, calling out his name down the hallways and across the courtyard.

"Just as I thought — you're dumb," said Jeen suddenly.

He was right behind them. Jeen had been sneaky, learning to move without a sound and follow people unnoticed.

"I know why you're looking for me. Follow me."

They followed him quietly. The path led them to the library — a place where silence ruled. Sannya was curious why they ended up there, where no one was allowed to speak loudly.

At the table sat a chubby girl wearing glasses, a student of the school. Jeen slipped his hand into his pocket and handed her some money. She nodded and gave him a small key — it looked ordinary, nothing special about it.

Taarush looked around, suspicious. "Why the library?" he whispered, half expecting a gang to jump out from the corners.

"Don't worry," said Jeen calmly. "There are rules we follow."

He led them to the far wall — a dead end. He pushed against a large bookshelf, grunting with effort. Sannya and Taarush helped him move it aside, and behind it was something unexpected — a door, hidden in the shadows.

But when they looked closer, they realized something strange.

There was no keyhole on the door — only a faint, carved symbol. Both of them stared, wondering what kind of door this was.

Jeen reached into his pocket again, this time pulling out a dull, bronze coin. Without a word, he placed it into a narrow slot that appeared beside the frame.

A soft click echoed, followed by a low hum. Faint blue light traced along the edges of the door, and it began to open slowly, revealing a dim, glowing passage beyond.

"What's going on, Jeen?" Sannya whispered.

Taarush stood frozen, eyes wide — shocked by the view that waited beyond the door.
