Chapter 30 - HISD Chapter 30 The Invasion of Horror Movie Creatures

HISD Chapter 30 The Invasion of Horror Movie Creatures

Dust billowed hundreds of meters into the sky. The alien ship that had descended nearly destroyed the entire high school district, with only the teaching building barely intact. Its outer wall had fused tightly with the inner hull of the alien vessel.

The building was half-enclosed, with only a faint trace of light slipping through the cracks. The air inside was thick with murky dust.

Yi Meng silently felt relieved.

Thankfully, the alien ship wasn't a solid disk, or else both the teaching building and everyone inside would have been crushed flat.

Where had he seen this bizarre design before?

Which movie or show in his past life?

Yi Meng's mind raced, flipping rapidly through images of films. But from inside the building, he couldn't see the whole ship clearly, making it hard to confirm the source of this invading construct.

Before he could find the answer, a scream suddenly pierced the silence outside the exam room corridor.

This delayed scream wasn't from the shock of the earlier crash—it sounded like someone had seen something terrifying.

Yi Meng quickly approached the classroom door. Instead of rushing out, he connected his brain's static signals within ten meters to a nearby security camera near the source of the scream.

The light was dim, the air murky, visibility poor.

Through the camera feed, he barely made out the scene.

A female examinee collapsed on the corridor floor outside the next classroom, her eyes wide with fear. "Monster…"

Before her, a pool of blood and a dragging trail led into the broken gap of the alien ship's hull.

Monster?

Did the ship carry monsters inside?

Yi Meng's chest tightened with foreboding. He quickly reviewed the saved footage from the linked camera.

Even though his static brain signals were still limited to ten meters, he could now access, alter, and scan the stored data of any connected electronic device.

It was like having a mini AI—but with a strict ten-meter range.

Of course, there was a difference between him and his AI avatar in the dream world. That avatar could jump hosts at will, but in reality, Yi Meng's consciousness terminal was bound only to his brain.

Still, he estimated he now had about one percent of a true AI's abilities.

He pulled up the recording and played it in his mind.

Yi Meng's heart sank.

Ten seconds earlier, the girl and another boy had fled from the next classroom.

But in the next instant, the boy's head was pierced by a grotesque set of jaws that shot from the ship's dark hull cavity. Blood sprayed everywhere, and his twitching body was dragged inside by a clawed limb.

The girl screamed and collapsed in terror.

From the camera's feed, a malformed, nearly two-meter-tall creature flashed past, vanishing into the dark breach of the ship.

It had a long, elongated skull with a metallic gray sheen, bloodied jaws steaming, and hideously warped limbs.

It moved like a top predator, dragging a full-grown body into the shadows.

Yi Meng's skin prickled with goosebumps.

This alien lifeform… was the nightmare of his childhood—

It had a cold, terrifying name: Xenomorph.

"Yi Meng, what is it?"

Dream Tifa came close, leaning on him. Because of the dim light, she could only faintly see a girl sitting collapsed outside, but not the bloodstains.

"We have to get out of here. Quickly," Yi Meng said gravely, his mind flashing through everything he knew about these invaders.

There were six films that described the Xenomorphs.

Alien 1–4, and the prequels Prometheus and Covenant.

Prometheus explained their origins in detail.

They were creatures born from experiments meant to wipe out humanity itself. In the films, they were called "the perfect organism, the ultimate predator, killers that learn and evolve endlessly."

Yi Meng glanced again at the ship encasing the building. Its smooth, biomechanical shell matched the very same alien vessels from the movies.

"Leave now? Shouldn't we wait in the classroom for rescue?" Dream Tifa asked.

The surviving proctors were already urging the students to stay calm, remain inside their classrooms, and wait patiently for rescue.

"No."

Yi Meng shook his head firmly.

The ship and building were already fused together. The Xenomorph had found food here—and nesting grounds for its offspring.

Narrow, enclosed spaces like buildings were their ideal hunting grounds.

Soon, this place would become a slaughterhouse.

And worse—besides Xenomorphs, there was something else on this ship. Something far more terrifying.

"Do you have a mask?" Yi Meng asked.

"Yes." Tifa fished a few out of her bag.

"Wear it. And from now on, don't touch any water here, especially drinking water."

Yi Meng put one on. Tifa followed suit.

Yi Meng looked back at the dozens of students cowering in pain and fear. "We're leaving. Anyone want to come with us?"

"Student."

One of the proctors maintaining order frowned. "It's chaotic and dark outside. Best to stay here. Waiting for rescue is the safest option."

Some who had been tempted to leave sat back down.

Yi Meng said nothing more.

Yes, staying might keep them safe until rescue arrived.

But Yi Meng always preferred to hold his fate in his own hands. Relying on himself was better than relying on others.

"Let's go."

Yi Meng tore off a metal desk leg for a makeshift weapon, then left with Tifa. A hesitant female student followed them out.

Not long after they left—

In the dim classroom, as the dust settled, many students began calming down.

The proctor at the door exhaled, then reopened the door Yi Meng had closed earlier to get some fresh air.

That's when he heard something crawling in the corridor.

Rustle, rustle.

Like multiple creatures moving.

"Rescue already?" he asked hopefully, turning toward the door.

The next second—

A squid-like parasite lunged onto his face, its claws and tail wrapping tight as he collapsed, choking and convulsing on the ground.

"Ahhh!"

Screams and slaughter spread quietly through the darkened room.
