Chapter 49 - Chapter 49 Why didn’t you say so earlier?

Wait, wait, wait... repeat that for me again...

Kaisen took a deep breath and slowly said, "So Draco was in the office, honestly grinding redstone, right?"

Draco, who was shedding silent tears in the corner, and the four Gryffindor Little Wizards beside him all nodded simultaneously.

"Then, the four of you came looking for me, and my office door happened to be unlocked. Draco even happened to say 'come in,' and so you entered."

The five Little Wizards nodded again.

"Then, after you came in, Draco was still honestly grinding redstone. Ron, you sat there drinking soda... Where did you find that soda? Never mind, this isn't the time to quibble over that. In short, Draco didn't provoke you, and then Ron sat on the sofa, drinking soda and running his mouth."

"Eventually, you finally made Draco angry, and you pulled out your wands and started fighting."

The five still nodded.

Kaisen also nodded in understanding: "I pretty much get it... Since that's the case... why didn't you... why didn't you go outside to fight? As you said, my office door wasn't locked. You wouldn't be afraid of not being able to get back in after you finished fighting?"

"Uh... we were afraid of being discovered by Professor and Filch if we fought outside," Harry said softly.

...Harry, let me ask you, who am I?" Kaisen sat on the only surviving sofa in the corner, pressing his philtrum with his thumb, speaking without any strength or force.

"You are Kaisen... and the Alchemy Professor." Harry first answered without thinking, then he realized... the Kaisen Professor in front of him... the last two words were Professor.

"Exactly... I am also a Professor. I completely understand your fear of Professors, which is why you don't dare cause trouble under a Professor's nose. But can you remember that I am also a Professor? Who can tell me why? Why do you treat my office like this... and my redstone Flash, which I carved little by little by hand?"

Kaisen tapped the coffee table in front of him again. A Flash, broken in half at the waist, lay there.

"I'm asking you, children, why are you afraid of other Professors but not me?"

Gryffindor always spoke without thinking, like Ron, who blurted out, "Because you're a good person."

"Nonsense! Should a good person's office be turned upside down by your wands?"

To be fair, this was Kaisen's first time losing his composure as a Professor. It wasn't because of the office; after all, this office had been blown up more than once, and each time he would redecorate it with a new style.

But only this time...

"Hey." Kaisen's knuckles gently tapped the two pieces of Flash on the coffee table, instantly turning them to dust.

"Alright, five powerful Little Wizards, I can only say that I'm going to start renovating my new office, so I'm handing you over to Professor McGonagall."

"And Draco, you're lucky. Although this time it's not your fault, one thing at a time, your redstone block is still on the tab. Now do you choose to wait until I finish redecorating the office and come back to grind it, or go to Professor McGonagall and let Professor McGonagall's punishment offset that redstone block?" Kaisen asked.

"Professor McGonagall!" Draco said decisively.

"Good, now follow me."

The five Little Wizards dejectedly followed Kaisen to Professor McGonagall's office.

There, the five Little Wizards witnessed a respected Professor transform into a lioness.

And after finishing his complaint, Kaisen also believed that Professor McGonagall would give him justice, so he discreetly left Professor McGonagall's office, and in the middle, while Dumbledore was in the kitchen making a snack, he secretly snuck into the Headmaster's office.

Then he discovered that the wine that should have belonged to Professor Kaisen had Dumbledore's name written on it.

How could this be allowed?

He decisively tucked the wine into his arms and walked towards Hagrid's Hut.

Then he witnessed the third dramatic event of the day.

The dragon Hagrid had hatched was already about the size of a table, currently studying how to swallow the magma block at the base of the fireplace into its belly.

"This little fellow... big fellow, is Cerberus growing this big?"

Hagrid raised an eyebrow: "She's not called Cerberus, Cerberus is that three-headed dog."

"Oh... Fang?"

"Fang is the hound currently gnawing on a bone."

"...Alright, maybe my memory isn't so good. How do you plan to house him... her? It looks like in a few more days she'll start measuring your size."

"Don't say that, she's a good child... Oh, but she is too big, you're right. Before, Ron and Malfoy gave me two business cards for dragon farms. I've been researching them recently to see which one has better conditions."

Hagrid pulled out a thick stack of documents. Truly, Kaisen had never seen so much paper within five meters of Hagrid.

"You pick whatever you want. Also, right now I don't want to hear the names of those two rascals. They ruined my figurines."

He said this while pulling out the wine from his arms.

"Whoa! Isn't this the wine Dumbledore brought back from France last time? This is good stuff!" Hagrid said with some surprise.

"What Dumbledore's? Now they are Kaisen Heath's treasured collection, from twenty minutes ago into the future, they are my treasured collection."

"Uh... you went to Dumbledore's office?" Hagrid stroked his beard and asked.

Kaisen looked at Hagrid strangely, but still comforted him: "Don't worry, if you don't say anything and I don't say anything, who would know? Besides, he doesn't have any evidence."

"But I remember Dumbledore cherishes these two bottles of wine very much. It is said that he even tells these two bottles of wine bedtime stories." Hagrid swallowed.

Kaisen cheerfully opened the wine and took two wine glasses. Hagrid cautiously took the wine glass...

"Mmm... Good wine!"

"Right?!"

"But Dumbledore?"

"Don't worry about Dumbledore. So many people know his office password. He doesn't know I took it." Kaisen waved his hand, taking another sip of wine...

Hagrid took a deep breath and also took a sip of wine.

Late at night, a tipsy Kaisen pushed open the door of Hagrid's Hut. The cold wind, mixed with snowflakes, did not sober him up; on the contrary, it gave him an urge to fall headfirst into the snow.

"Oh, by the way, the two guardian statues in Headmaster Dumbledore's office have self-awareness... Did you know?"

...

Kaisen instantly sobered up considerably, the alcoholic fumes emanating from him making him seem to be steaming.

"Why didn't you say so earlier?"

Hagrid twisted his two thick fingers together. He couldn't possibly say that he had been craving Dumbledore's two good bottles of wine for a long time, could he?
