Chapter 101 - Chapter 101 Please Trust My Patience

"Huh?" Neville looked at Kaisen in a daze.

"How does that saying go? Those who achieve great things must learn great lessons. Besides, this flying broomstick really needs a good repair."

Their morning trip to Diagon Alley was not just for pets and brooms; for example, Kaisen's next destination was Flourish and Blotts.

"Um… Sir, have I seen you somewhere?"

A bookstore employee who was tidying books on the shelf somehow stiffened.

"No, no, no, of course not… Anyway, I haven't seen you."

"Really?"

"Really."

Kaisen nodded, took the purchased books to the counter to pay, and after the two left the bookstore, the employee finally breathed a sigh of relief.

At the same time, a black anvil appeared on his head at some point.

Clang!

"Hmph, hmph, you offended a Professor and thought you could get away unscathed? Not so easy!"

At noon, the two flew back to Hogwarts. Neville excitedly carried the big-faced cat out of the office, while Kaisen walked towards Professor McGonagall's office.

"Professor McGonagall, do you know about Neville's parents?"

Professor McGonagall inserted her quill into its cap: "Why would you ask about that? Did Neville ask you to help inquire?"

"Not exactly. It was just a coincidence that I found out Neville's parents are still alive, but I heard they are at St. Mungo's Hospital, so I came to ask."

Kaisen asked.

"The Longbottoms are also a pitiful couple. On the eve of Lord Voldemort's death, all the Death Eaters began their final madness, and the Longbottoms' house was broken into by a large group of Death Eaters."

"They cruelly tortured the Longbottoms with the Crucio spell. Since then, both of the Longbottoms have been mentally unstable and have been living at St. Mungo's Hospital until now."

"I see… Can I visit them? I mean, does St. Mungo's Hospital allow visitors?"

Professor McGonagall pursed her lips: "Kaisen, you are just a Professor. None of that is your responsibility; you don't need to take on so many burdens."

"How old are you this year? Are you even twenty-six? Have you had your twenty-sixth birthday? You are still just a child, there's no need."

Kaisen shook his head: "No one has ever celebrated my birthday since I was little, so I've long forgotten the exact month and day."

"But no matter what, I am a Professor now. Not just Neville, but any Little Wizards who has insurmountable difficulties, I will help. Perhaps I can't help, but not having the ability and not having the idea are different."

"Ah… I remember it should be the mental ward of St. Mungo's Hospital. You can just ask the nurse's station directly for the Longbottoms." McGonagall took off her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose, looking a bit tired.

Until the sound of Ender Teleportation ceased, Professor McGonagall looked at the empty office before her, save for herself, and smiled helplessly.

Soon, she pulled out her wand, and a cute silver kitten leaped out of it.

"Go ask Dumbledore when Kaisen Heath's birthday is. He'll surely be able to find it."

The silvery-white kitten nimbly leaped up, passed through the office wall, and ran straight towards the Headmaster's office.

On the other side...

"Hello, sir, may I ask… Professor Kaisen?"

A nurse at St. Mungo's nurse station, who was writing something with her head down, tiredly looked up, glanced at the newcomer, and then the fatigue on her face vanished in a blink, replaced by a surprised expression.

"Sarah? Congratulations! You really became a physician at St. Mungo's!" Kaisen recognized the nurse in front of him and said with some surprise.

"Uh… The physician's license hasn't come down yet, but I'm doing great now, a glorious and great nurse!" Sarah said, half-embarrassed and half-proud.

"Anyway, it's good, a bright future."

Sarah nodded: "By the way, Professor, who are you looking for here? I can look it up for you."

"The Longbottoms, Neville Longbottom's parents."

"Ah, those two, they're in Room 332. I'll accompany you."

"No, no, no, no, I should be able to find it myself. You just continue to stick to your post."

"Alright then, please take this visitor's pass, Professor. Next time you come, please… Uh, I hope you don't need to come, except for visiting patients."

"Mhm, thank you for your kind words!"

Soon, Kaisen followed the various signs at St. Mungo's and found Room 332. He could clearly hear all sorts of sounds from inside, not like ordinary madness, but more like unconscious murmurs in a daze.

He knocked on the door, but there was no extra reaction from inside.

"Don't move, sir, hands up."

As Kaisen was knocking on the door, he suddenly felt a wand pressed against his back.

"Don't be impulsive, sir, I have a visitor's pass." Kaisen quickly showed the visitor's pass in his hand, then looked back and saw a man in a patient gown holding an ordinary small wooden stick pointing at him.

"Emmm…" Kaisen was a bit awkward, and then he saw a figure in a white coat rushing from the end of the corridor.

"Sorry, sir, the patient is like that, please don't take him seriously."

"Uh, it's fine, you are…" Kaisen looked up and down at the figure in the white coat. At least he was dressed neatly, and there was a wand in his sleeve, so he shouldn't be another psychiatric patient.

"You can call me Mophit, a psychiatrist at St. Mungo's, responsible for treating this… and of course, the one inside." Mophit said, waving his wand, and a fluffy, soft sleeping bag wrapped the man tightly.

He slowly pushed him into the ward.

"Oh… Is this Mr. Longbottom?"

Mophit nodded: "Yes, is he the one you're visiting?"

"Yes, do you mind telling me… why Mr. Longbottom became like this?" Kaisen said, helping Mophit carry Mr. Longbottom back into the ward.

The ward had two beds and a simple washroom. It wasn't large, but it was very clean, indicating that cleaning was almost always done thoroughly.

After the two lifted Mr. Longbottom back onto the bed, Kaisen finally had time to look at the woman sitting on the other bed, staring blankly at a candy wrapper in her hand.

If this woman hadn't been so emaciated, she would have been very beautiful.

"This is Mrs. Longbottom." Mophit explained, standing beside Kaisen.

"Mhm, I can tell… By the way, you haven't answered me yet."

"This is quite complicated. Are you sure you want to hear it?"

"Yes, please believe in my patience, sir."
