Chapter 138 - Chapter 138 Maybe I could have a boat race in my office

"I totally understand how you feel." Tonks nodded in agreement.

The two arrived at Snape's office. Tonks quickly took a picture of the Basilisk with her magical camera, and only plucked up the courage to speak as they were leaving.

"Can I have a Basilisk fang?"

"...."

"Alright, never mind!" Tonks quickly left Snape's office.

Kaisen and Snape exchanged glances, shrugging in unison.

"Hmmph."

Back in his office, Kaisen stretched with all his might. He sighed as he watched Sirius by the sofa, vigorously sniffing his own tail.

Going to the Ministry of Magic today was a mixed bag. The good news was that Hagrid finally received the justice he was due, albeit decades late.

Even though this justice was severely delayed, he was still happy for him.

The worrying part was Fudge's claim that Sirius had escaped from Azkaban.

Of course, if it were an ordinary criminal, what the hell would their escape from Azkaban have to do with him?

But unfortunately, this damned criminal was a former subordinate of Lord Voldemort. If Hagrid was correct, Sirius was obsessed with pledging allegiance to Lord Voldemort and killing Harry Potter. In that case, Kaisen's third year at Hogwarts was going to be truly interesting.

Although a Dark Wizard claimed he wanted to kill Harry, it's hard to say what kind of bottom line a Dark Wizard would have.

Or rather, Dark Wizards have no bottom line.

So, his mode of operation upon arriving at Hogwarts would likely be to use Avada on anyone who stood in his way.

This was even more abstract than this year's Basilisk.

And along with Sirius came a package deal of Dementors.

He used to joke with the Little Wizards about going to Azkaban for further studies, or discussing topics that could easily land them in Azkaban. It turned out that half of that joke would come true next semester.

It was a case of 'I don't go to Azkaban, Azkaban comes to me.'

"Dumbledore is still senile..."

Kaisen mumbled, pulling out large piles of small soul sand and small Wither Skeleton skulls.

He decided to make some Withering Charms for a rainy day.

After all, according to Hagrid, the Patronus Charm was not easy to learn, and some Little Wizards might not be naturally gifted or might progress slowly.

Their only option then would be the Withering Charm.

And his Alchemy was only available as an elective for third-year students and above. He couldn't just let the Little Wizards below third year be sucked dry by Dementors like milk tea, could he?

"Damn it... Hogwarts would fall apart without me! Dumbledore must give me a raise next semester!" He said indignantly, while making a small Wither and placing it into a charm frame.

The next day...

"What did you give?"

Kaisen asked Snape, who was beside him.

"Dittany crystal. Wearing it can slowly heal external injuries without Dark Arts curses," Snape replied.

"That's so high-tech! No, high-magic... Did you make this yourself?" Kaisen said with some surprise.

"Mm."

Soon, Professor Kettleburn was blindfolded and led by two Little Wizards to the Great Hall. If nothing unexpected happened, this would be Professor Kettleburn's last Sunday at Hogwarts.

Dumbledore smiled and pulled out the Elder Wand, a simple firework spell accumulating at its tip.

Soon, the two Little Wizards removed Professor Kettleburn's blindfold.

Bang!

"Oh..." Professor Kettleburn smiled, accepting the farewell party: "I knew it, Dumbledore only has this much novelty."

"But classic novelty never goes wrong; this is wisdom passed down by our predecessors." Dumbledore walked over with a set of magical wooden prosthetics.

Professor Kettleburn tried on the prosthetics: "Not bad, Dumbledore, your Alchemy has improved."

"Cough, cough." Next was Kaisen. The prosthetics he made were not like Dumbledore's crude wooden ones with a few runes and spells added.

The prosthetics he made could truly be controlled by one's thoughts, bending arms to grasp objects, and even unconsciously scratching one's backside while sleeping.

They ran faster than ostriches and gripped like rock climbers.

In emergencies, they could even punch angry magical creatures into unconsciousness, fundamentally eliminating the possibility of Professor Kettleburn being injured again.

Such a magnificent Alchemy creation was too good to be called a prosthetic; it should be called a cybernetic limb.

"Oh my Merlin, this is much better than what Dumbledore gave." Professor Kettleburn said, quickly putting on the new cybernetic limb. He tried clenching his fist with the limb...

The leg cybernetic limb also bent its knee very precisely, scratching his other calf with its foot.

"Honestly, compared to you, what the hell does Dumbledore know about Alchemy?" Professor Kettleburn squeezed Dumbledore with a mischievous grin.

And the latter enjoyed this strange interaction.

The other Professors also presented their gifts to Professor Kettleburn, such as Snape's Dittany crystal, and Professor McGonagall and Professor Sprout both gave a glove.

And they were both right-handed.

"We should have discussed this before giving them."

"I really wish your memories weren't so good. If you had given me one left-hand glove and one right-hand glove, honestly, I would have been very happy." Professor Kettleburn said with a laugh, holding up two right-hand gloves.

"There's nothing we can do about that, but I suppose your other hand doesn't need a glove, does it?"

Professor Sprout said, glancing at Kaisen.

"obsidian shell! You old man, you'd be brave enough to break a dragon's tooth!" Kaisen said boastfully, hands on his hips.

"This is truly amazing." Professor Kettleburn exclaimed, stroking her hard and cool cybernetic limb.

"Hmm, indeed, I'm even thinking of getting a new one."

As soon as Dumbledore finished speaking, almost everyone's gaze turned to him.

"Severus, I remember you have a spell called Sectumsempra, right?" Kaisen suddenly said.

Snape looked at the smiling Dumbledore and very much in agreement, pulled out his wand.

But jokes aside, although Dumbledore, this Gryffindor, might actually cut off his own hand for something cool, Snape was still rational and wouldn't do that.

It was late at night. Kaisen burped involuntarily after returning from the Great Hall.

He remembered that during the banquet, a Little Wizards complained to him that his office was too large and inconvenient to move around in.

There was a solution, though.

An ice cube appeared in Kaisen's left hand, and a wooden boat in his right.

"Perhaps I can hold a boat race in my office."
