Chapter 200 - Chapter 200 Wild Chimera

Summoning the Wild Chimera was quite simple: just set out the ritual brazier, place the summoning tablet on it, and then toss in three Wild Horns.

Although theoretically, three different items were needed, it was still the same old story: make do with what you had. If it could be summoned, he didn't care.

Soon, a flurry of light points gathered from the void towards the brazier, and the Wild Chimera appeared before him, looking vibrant. Kayson first tentatively used a Wither Skeleton Head to deliver a severe blow to it...

There was damage, but the damage was rather humorous.

Next were the spells from Mystic Era and Newborn Magic Art, but there was still no good way to deal with this stat monster. In the end, Kayson even tried Ender Teleportation.

However, this damn thing quickly healed itself.

"Damn it... you wait here, I'll get you something rule-based," Kayson said, gritting his teeth as he Apparated away. Not long after, he pulled Dumbledore to a spot not far from the Wild Chimera.

"Hit it with an Avada!" Kayson said fiercely.

"Let's not talk about Avada Kedavra for now... why do you always find square things?" Dumbledore asked, puzzled.

"Do you really have to discuss this kind of question with me right now?" Kayson asked, somewhat awkwardly.

"Alright. Avada Kedavra," Dumbledore nodded, and a fluorescent green beam of light flew towards the Wild Chimera. Almost instantly, Kayson saw the large creature's body turn red.

Bang!

"Concept-based magic is just unsolvable, isn't it?" Kayson said, giving Dumbledore a thumbs up.

"Although I don't particularly like such spells, I must admit, it is the wisdom of our predecessors," Dumbledore explained.

Soon, Kayson picked up the Wild Offering dropped by the Wild Chimera and waved to Dumbledore: "Done."

As he spoke, a force field enveloped Dumbledore, and the two returned directly to Hogwarts.

"Hmm... although your method of teleportation is a little painful... it is indeed more comfortable than Apparition or a Portkey, at least psychologically," Dumbledore said, experiencing the peculiar sensation.

"Uh-huh, do you want to learn? If you want to learn, I can consider teaching you. My human enchantment technique is quite proficient now," Kayson said while upgrading the Newborn Magic Art Magic Book at the workbench.

"I'll pass," Dumbledore quickly waved his hand.

"Wow, you don't distrust me, do you?" Kayson said.

"As a matter of fact, I trust you very much... but I still have Fawkes to help me," Dumbledore said drily.

"Oh... if that's the case... then just assume I believe it," Kayson shrugged helplessly.

Soon, he returned to his desk with the freshly made, now most powerful, Newborn Magic Art Magic Book, conceiving new spells on parchment for tomorrow's use.

He quickly came up with two decent area-of-effect spells by tapping his head.

The first was centered on lightning and interaction, basically a lightning chain concept, using thunder elements to connect every enemy, sharing damage together—a genuine area-of-effect control spell, the only drawback being insufficient damage.

However, none of this was an issue. Kayson also specifically created a spell for finishing blows, using attraction, ignition, wind shear, immolation, pulverization, explosion, and finally, gravity.

The effect was roughly to use attraction to gather a large mob of disorganized enemies, then set them on fire, followed by wind blades for cutting, then a large fire to reduce them, immediately followed by pulverization, an explosion, and finally a gravity spell to flatten them into fertilizer.

All done.

However, the vision was perfect; it was just that the creation of the magic runes was a bit difficult. Most were Level 1 or Level 2 magic runes, and some had been made before, so that was not a problem.

It was this lightning magic rune that belonged to Level 3, the highest level in his small combo, and the synthesis materials within it left Kayson a bit bewildered.

What were these things?

But ultimately, with the blessing of a series of 'I'll figure it out' powers, he still managed to make the magic rune.

The so-called magic rune creation was not that complicated or unreasonable.

It wasn't like building an atomic bomb; why be so serious?

Good enough.

"Should I help out tomorrow too?" Sirius asked.

"Don't bother. Your job is to go to Gryffindor Tower and immediately restrain Peter Pettigrew. Also, don't kill Peter Pettigrew directly; keep him alive to clear your name and gain your freedom," Kayson said.

Sirius shook his head: "That thing isn't necessary for me."

"Oh... yes, but Mr. Sirius Black, you probably don't want Harry to go home every holiday and be under the same roof as his hateful aunt and uncle, having to do all sorts of chores every day of the holiday, waking up before dawn to make breakfast, sometimes not even getting enough to eat, and..."

"I will spare his life," Sirius finally conceded.

"Good. Also, Harry hates you very much right now. If possible, it's best to wait until we've dealt with the outside matters before you turn back into human form, because Harry probably hates you the most right now; Severus would have to take a back seat," Kayson reminded him.

"Oh, that greasy-haired git is the most annoying," Sirius scoffed.

"A feud from your student days, huh? Do you mind telling me what happened? Severus never told me when we were drinking," Kayson asked.

"You want to hear? If you listen, I'll tell you."

"Go on," Kayson said.

"Actually, it was just four Little Wizardss who came together because their personalities complemented each other and their tempers matched. But James and I, we were young then, so we did a lot of ridiculous things."

"For example, in your student days, you might think violence is cool, but now, looking back, you'd realize it was like being an idiot."

"At the time, Remus was fine, but James and I could be described as... what was that word, campus bullying. Some might not have been that serious, just ordinary pranks, but some might have been much more severe than that word. At the time, we both thought it was cool, but objectively speaking now, we were quite scummy back then," Sirius paused here, as if waiting for Kayson's response.

And Kayson did not disappoint: "If I had been a Professor back then, I would have definitely given you a good talking to."

"Oh, back to the main topic. It was at the beginning of this kind of violence that we looked for trouble and quickly found our first target, which was Snape."
