Mart's eyes sparkled at the sight of the somewhat rough red-covered book he had placed in front of him, now that he knew it wasn't just a book he wanted it, especially since the book might contain a valuable opportunity, but he had to restrain himself.

He stood up, picked up the book carefully and as he reached the reception desk he saw another student with short red hair, sharp purple eyes, he had two antennae and his teeth were sharp and pointed, his skin was tanned and his fingertips were pointed with a purplish color. The student, who had his feet up on the reception desk while swinging his chair back and forth, stopped when he saw Mart and asked in a throaty but calm voice:

-Do you want anything?

-You can keep this book at the reception desk, I'll come tomorrow to read it again. -Mart also answered serenely, he was already used to demons and their different appearances.

The red-haired student opened a drawer of the counter, took out a small demonic crystal, infused it with demonic energy and asked Mart while extending his hand to receive the book:

-You are Mart Sevec Right?

-That's right, senior.

The red-haired student took the book, and placed it in the counter drawer and said to him:

You have forty-eight hours to return and read the book, otherwise you will have to fetch it from its assigned place on the shelves.

-I thank you, senior.

Mart said goodbye to the red-haired student who seemed to be bored. As he left the restricted area, he saw Emy alone in the library, he approached her and asked her politely:

-It's late already, do you always stay so late?

Emy observed the charming young man and could tell that Mart's energy was almost absent, so she asked him after answering:

-Sometimes when there's an interesting book, I linger a little longer in the library; but you, what are you reading?

Mart walked away, looked for a chair and then placed it next to Emy and sat down, she was a little surprised, but preferred to keep silent.

-I found an interesting book, it is titled "demonic hearts", however, it absorbs my demonic energy while I read it, there are many interesting books in the world, and I discovered this one thanks to you, since I remembered your recommendation about that unpopular book and this time I considered the unpopular books and I also found something interesting.

-Although it's not always like that. I'm glad you found something interesting. -Emy said, looking at Mart.

Mart leaned his head back on Emy's reception desk and asked:

-If there were conspiratorial groups, who do you think would form them?

-If you talk about the book I recommended; I would say that a large part of the conspirators were demons allied to humans because they sought the power they had not achieved with their own hands; another group, it is rumored, was formed by the remnants of the Cudernic kingdom that the first emperor could not eradicate. A third and simplest are internal disagreements that generate powerful conflicts between those in charge of leading.

Mart nodded and thought about the three possibilities, after reading the story, he knew it was a no-brainer that there would not be just one group conspiring, but in the back of his mind he wondered, "Who were the ones who attacked the students? They seem to be experimenting with demon god energy, and even created those abominable beings that attacked the students. Those beings that attacked the students seemed to have mutated," as he continued to think, he felt that the monsters that attacked the students could be related to the chimeras of the past or the unnamable ones.

Mart had been absorbing demonic energy, when he felt recovered, he said goodbye to Emy, and put the chair he had taken back in its place.

In his room, in front of his desk, already prepared with his sleeping clothes Mart was writing down the important concepts he read in the book "demonic hearts", and then he made his notes about the possible conspirators, a topic he had discussed with Emy, and although it was a superficial conversation on the subject he considered it useful because it allowed him to conclude:

"Knowing the motivation is the best way to find and destroy the conspirators."

The next day, Mart trained in the morning, went to his classes, and then in the cafeteria, when everyone had finished eating, Mart asked Asfil and Selis:

-Do you have demonic energy potions?

-Yes, do you need them? -Selis didn't hesitate to ask with her sweet attitude, seeing her Mart thought, "you are an angel Selis; I mean, a demon".

Mart answered her as he hugged her, as he couldn't resist the urge to want to hold her in his arms:

-Yes, I need the potions, the weekend we go out I will replenish them for you.

Selis took out from his demonic pendant about ten high quality third rank demonic potions of demonic energy. The quality of the potions surprised Mart, he was grateful. Mart took out his demonic bag, put away the potions Selis gave him and then Asfil placed his bracelet on Mart's demonic bag and said to him in a calm tone:

-I already transferred my potions to you.

"Wow, could that be done?" wondered Mart in his mind, seeing the direct transfer from one storage artifact to another, though he preferred to research it later and not ask something that would be a no-brainer to others.

After receiving the potions, Mart said goodbye to the girls and walked through the corridors until he reached the library, he approached Emy, he was about to ask her for her demonic potions, but refrained, because even though they had gotten quite close, it could only be considered a friendly relationship for the moment. Mart said goodbye to Emy and as he entered the restricted library, he encountered the long green haired student who wore glasses, he was now reading a book on combat styles. "contrary to his appearance, he looks like he is a warrior," Mart thought, then asked the green haired student for the book who just opened the counter drawer, took out the book and handed it to Mart.

Mart walked with the book to the desk, this time he was prepared with several demonic potions, so he wasn't going to stop reading easily. He sat down in front of one of the desks and to start reading.
