Ivy carefully balanced the tray of food as she made her way down the dimly lit hallway towards the cell where Akira was locked up. She had been assigned the task of serving Akira her meals, and while she didn't particularly enjoy the job, but it was her duty as Akira personal maid. As she approached the cell, Ivy could hear faint snoring, indicating that Akira was asleep.
Gently, Ivy placed the tray on the ground and knelt down to slide it under the cell's gate. Just as she turned to leave, a groggy voice called out to her.
"Why did you bring me food?" Akira asked, rubbing her eyes as she sat up from the floor.
Ivy turned back to face Akira and replied, "I thought you were sleeping. Alpha Glen instructed me to serve you food frequently."
Akira let out a dismissive sigh. "I'm not interested in the food. Take it away."
Ivy frowned, knowing that not feeding Akira would only lead to trouble. "You haven't eaten since yesterday. I don't want Alpha Glen to blame me for neglecting my duties."
"Really?" Akira scoffed. "Then come closer."
Reluctantly, Ivy moved to stand at the cell gate. Akira picked up the tray of food and unexpectedly smashed it against the gate, causing the contents to spill all over Ivy.
"Maybe this way, you'll finally understand that I'm not interested in any food!" Akira snapped.
Ivy was taken aback, her anger starting to rise. She wiped the food off her face with her hand and retorted, "You know what your problem is? You never learned how to accept your mistakes and apologize. You killed two pack members, and you don't even feel sorry for it. It's against the pack rules!"
Akira's eyes blazed with fury. "Did you just yell at me?" she growled.
"Yes, and I'll do it again if that's what it takes to get you to listen!" Ivy replied with equal intensity.
"How dare you talk to me like that? Have you forgotten that you're just a maid?" Akira retorted.
"What's the difference between us?" Ivy shot back. "The only difference is that I'm not a hoe and a betrayer like you!"
Akira's anger reached its boiling point, and she began to transform into a werewolf. Her clothes tore as she howled in pain. Ivy didn't hesitate and started transforming as well, their fierce confrontation escalating to a dangerous level.
The cell gate couldn't withstand the power of the transformed wolves. Akira broke free, lunging at Ivy with her fangs bared. Ivy fought back with determination, the two wolves clashing with brutal force. The sound of snarling and growling filled the air as they battled fiercely.
Finally, Akira managed to land a powerful blow, sending Ivy crashing to the ground. As the fight continued, Akira delivered another forceful strike that knocked Ivy out. Gradually, Ivy began to revert to her human form, her breathing heavy and her body aching.
Hearing Akira's loud howls, the pack members rushed to the scene. They found Akira exhausted but alive, and Ivy unconscious. They carried Ivy away, tending to her injuries, while others restrained Akira and covered her with a large blanket before taking her to face Alpha Glen.
Alpha Glen was furious as he questioned Akira about her violent behavior, citing the previous incident of her killing two pack members and now attacking Ivy.
"Ivy provoked me by calling me a maid and a hoe!" Akira defended herself.
Alpha Glen let out a disapproving sigh. "Regardless, you should have controlled yourself. You should be grateful Ivy is still alive; otherwise, I would have had to deal with a much more serious situation."
Akira's frustration surged, and she retorted, "You're being unreasonable! You should be on my side!"
The Alpha's eyes flashed with warning. "Don't make me regret pronouncing you as my girlfriend," he warned before walking away, leaving Akira seething with anger and confusion.

After finishing their meal at the dining area, Maya got up and carried her plate to the kitchen. As she turned to leave, she heard a voice behind her, and when she looked, she saw Eve standing there. Curiosity filled Eve's expression as she asked, "How did you do it?"
Maya raised an eyebrow, feigning ignorance, "Do what?"
Eve leaned in closer, speaking in a hushed tone, "Everyone knows Alpha Rick is brutal, especially towards female wolves. How did you manage to come out alive from his den, and he even brought you back to the mansion?"
Maya's eyes narrowed, not liking the implications of Eve's question. "I owe nobody an explanation for whatever that happens to me. If you want to be one of those suspecting me to be a spy, then you can join them."
Just as Maya was about to leave the kitchen, someone else entered, and the conversation had to pause. Maya decided to head to the garden to get away from prying ears, and Eve followed her.
In the solitude of the garden, Eve reached out and grabbed Maya's arm, attempting to reason with her. "I'm not suspecting you," she said earnestly. "We both want the same thing here."
Maya scoffed, pulling her arm away from Eve's grip. "Stop acting like you know me," she retorted. "You have no idea what I want."
Eve persisted, "I know you want revenge. We both do. And Alpha Blake is one of the people you seek revenge on."
Maya's eyes flared with anger, and she snapped, "I don't know what you're talking about!"
Eve wore a knowing smile, undeterred by Maya's hostility. "I can see it in your eyes. There's a thirst for revenge burning within you. Alpha Blake is part of that, just like the two people I want to seek revenge on."
Maya clenched her fists, trying to contain her emotions. "I said enough!" she snapped. "Whatever that is going on in that head of yours is none of my concern. I can never trust anyone again."
Eve was surprised by Maya's last statement, "Wait, what did you mean by that?"
Maya did not respond to Eve, with that, she turned away from Eve, intending to put an end to the conversation. Eve, however, remained composed and whispered to herself, "Why did she say, she don't want to trust anyone? That's fine. Maybe I'll try harder next time."
