Chapter 160: The Evil Konoha Village! Humiliating the Last Uchiha Bloodline by Forcing Him into Cross-dressing?!

Uchiha Compound.

Central Plaza.

The small white figure of Kyubey had vanished without a trace.

But Sasuke's wish had taken effect.

The earth began to tremble slightly. Countless motes of light appeared out of thin air, drawn by an invisible force, converging from all directions towards the center of the plaza. The light intensified, growing brighter and more blinding, until it formed a pillar of light shooting into the sky!

One by one, blurry figures emerged within the light, solidifying from the ethereal glow. Their postures varied. Some seemed to be sleeping peacefully. Others were frozen in their final moments of terror or pain.

Fugaku Uchiha.

Mikoto Uchiha.

Shisui Uchiha.

And many, many more once-vibrant faces.

They, the dead of the Uchiha clan, were reappearing in the world, exactly as they were when they died!

The light suddenly dispersed.

Dead silence.

Then, even greater chaos erupted.

"I… I'm alive?"

"Is this the compound? What happened to it?!"

Many clansmen stared blankly at their hands, feeling the heartbeat thumping in their chests once more. Then, a deeper terror drowned their newborn consciousness.

"AAAAHHH—!!"

A seven or eight-year-old Uchiha girl suddenly let out a piercing scream, clutching her head tightly. The memory of the moment of death cruelly slashed through her young mind. The cold shuriken reflecting the moonlight. And… the warm blood splattering on her face as her family fell.

"Itachi Uchiha… he killed me—"

Wails, screams, and terrified whispers rose in waves. Resurrection did not bring pure joy. It brought confusion mixed with the trauma of death, pain, and boundless rage. Many had not yet fully awakened from the nightmare of the massacre, curling up on the ground, trembling. They could not immediately comprehend this bizarre scene, nor accept the fact that they had "returned from the dead."

Sasuke stood dazed, his small body trembling. Everything before him was more unreal than the wildest dream he had ever had.

Father… Mother… They're really… really back!

Indescribable ecstasy instantly drowned all his reason and senses. Tears burst forth like a broken dam, blurring his vision. He didn't even notice how strange and out of place his "Magical Girl" battle outfit looked amidst the death and decay of the compound.

Fugaku Uchiha opened his eyes. The confusion of the moment of resurrection quickly faded, replaced by extreme vigilance and pain. The tragic state of the compound spoke louder than words. He scanned his surroundings, trying to assess the situation in the shortest time possible.

Then, he saw the child wearing the strange "girl's outfit."

So familiar. It was clearly his Sasuke.

But strange were his height, his face which had lost some of its childishness, and—that grotesque attire.

"Are you…"

"Sasuke?"

Mikoto Uchiha's reaction was more direct and emotional. After the initial confusion, her gaze was instantly drawn to Sasuke and could not move away. Her child had grown taller. He seemed thinner, too. But what was with those clothes? Why was he dressed like a girl? Despite her confusion, her maternal instinct instantly confirmed that this was her son!

"Sasuke… my child…" Mikoto reached out, her fingertips cool, wanting to touch the child before her. To confirm his reality. To confirm that this wasn't a hallucination in the afterlife.

Sasuke could no longer suppress the excitement and ecstasy in his heart.

"Father! Mother!!"

Choking back sobs, he threw himself at them, at the warm embrace that had once been his entire world.

Fugaku instinctively opened his arms and caught his son. A strange fragrance lingered around his nose, emanating from Sasuke's bizarre outfit. This made him frown almost imperceptibly.

The memories of the massacre night were as clear as yesterday. He remembered when Itachi Uchiha—his eldest son, whom he had once been most proud of. The child the entire clan had placed their hopes on. He had even arranged for him to join the Anbu to gather intelligence.

After Tobirama assigned the Uchiha the role of the Konoha Military Police Force, they finally realized they had been tricked. It was a position created just so everyone in the village could monitor them. How could the Uchiha be happy living in a "cage"? Instead, they were ostracized, corralled, isolated, and suppressed.

Tobirama led the Uchiha to the edge of the cliff, and then, with the tacit approval of the Third Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi, Danzo Shimura kicked them off.

He wanted to find a way out for the Uchiha, having Itachi initiate a bloodless revolution against the Konoha high command. How ironic that the cold blade was finally turned against him and Mikoto.

The clansmen had once kicked Madara Uchiha aside for immediate benefits. Always bowing and scraping like obedient dogs to the Konoha higher-ups, only to be met with exclusion and suppression. Wanting a bloodless coup, only to be betrayed and massacred by his own son.

And now, his other son—the last Uchiha bloodline—was being forced by the naturally evil Konoha higher-ups to wear women's clothing?

Was this to mentally dismantle Sasuke? To completely cut off the Uchiha spiritually and by blood?! Being a dog only bought Konoha's utter humiliation and extermination?

Heh.

Itachi had "protected" his Konoha in his own way, and thoroughly trampled on the Uchiha name. Now, was Sasuke also to be paraded in women's clothing, manipulated in such a humiliating way?

The last shred of illusion Fugaku held for the Konoha high command collapsed and shattered in this moment.

Facing Itachi before his death, he had no extra questions or pleas. He knew Itachi had made his choice. A choice to completely sever ties with the family. He had even thought Itachi would choose to be a "spectator," letting those hidden in the dark do the deed, at least not staining his own hands with the blood of his kin.

But he was wrong. Dead wrong.

Itachi didn't even have that much "freedom," or rather, Konoha wasn't willing to grant even that little "mercy." He raised the butcher's knife himself. It wasn't until the blade pierced his heart that the "trust" and "expectation" Fugaku held for his eldest son completely vanished. Leaving only boundless sorrow and the numbness of being betrayed by one's closest kin.

What a "considerate" child…

They could only keep their faces blank, calmly turning their backs to their child. No resentment, no fear, not even a hint of reluctance showed. Mikoto was the same, accepting death calmly. Because when the deepest trust turns into the most thorough betrayal, all emotions are drained, leaving only ash. Their hearts had already died.

Mikoto held Sasuke tight, tears already streaming down her face, soaking her son's shoulder. "Sasuke, my child… it's really you… it's really you…" She choked, calling her son's name over and over, feeling his warm body temperature, confirming this wasn't a dream.

She gently stroked Sasuke's soft hair. Then she looked closely at the strange outfit he was wearing.

"Sasuke, how have you been… these past years?"

"Why are you dressed like this?"
