Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Traps of Envy, Tests of Resolve

The monsoon rain battered Lakeside Villas in Banjara Hills, its rhythm a grim pulse against the glass walls of Priya Reddy's home. Inside, Meera Reddy, her eyes sharp with distrust, faced Robin Seth, her plan to expose him as a manipulative opportunist burning hot. She leaned close, her voice honeyed, testing him. "Robin, you're always so… reliable," she purred, her hand brushing his arm. "Why not relax with me tonight?"

Robin's gaze was steel, his smartwatch pinging a steady pulse. He stepped back, unfazed. "Meera, I'm here for Priya and Tara, not games," he said, voice low, cutting. "Save your tricks." Meera's smile faltered, humiliation stinging as her seduction fizzled, her hidden camera catching nothing but her own failure.

Undeterred, Meera shifted tactics, her mind racing. "Fine," she said, masking her frustration with a smirk. "Join me at Rahul Sharma's birthday bash at Neon Nights. My friends will love meeting Priya's… hero." Her tone dripped with sarcasm, her plan to humiliate Robin among her high-society circle taking shape. Robin, bound by his promise to Priya to keep an eye on Meera, nodded reluctantly, sensing a trap but unwilling to let her scheme unchecked.

At Neon Nights in Gachibowli, the private club pulsed with wealth and malice. Rahul Sharma, greeted Meera's entourage, his eyes glinting as they landed on Robin. "The stay-at-home dad?" Rahul sneered, his affluent friends—led by Neha Kapoor, sharp-tongued and loyal to Vikram Rao—chiming in. "A freeloader leaching off Priya's wealth," Neha taunted, her laughter echoed by the crowd. Robin stood calm, his Don Robin fire smoldering, ignoring their jibes.

Meera, smirking, handed Robin a drink, unaware that Rahul had slipped an aphrodisiac into hers, his predatory gaze lingering. "To new friends," Rahul toasted, his intent dark, plotting to exploit Meera's vulnerability. Robin sipped his drink, eyes scanning the room, his instincts sharp for danger.

Across town, in the Gachibowli villa, Ranjeet Varma sat with Meera Varma, the Hunters' leader marveling at Robin's prowess. "Don Robin's Grandmaster level potential, his hatred of evil—it's unmatched," Ranjeet said, voice raspy with conviction. "His underworld past doesn't taint his honor. We need him."

Meera Varma's skepticism lingered. "A grandmaster tied to the Rao Gang? Grandfather, he's a risk," she said, her tablet glowing with east dock reports. "But I'll meet him. If he's as noble as you claim, maybe he's our answer to Rocky Bhai." Ranjeet nodded, resolute. "Arrange it. He's a storm we can't ignore."

At Charminar Villa, Vikram Rao, stunned by Trigger's fall, pressed his deputy Anil. "Robin Seth's an S-level force," he said, voice low. "Befriend him—offer Neha Kapoor, cash, anything. We can't face Rocky Bhai's wrath without him." Anil nodded, his scarred face set. "I'll reach out. Don Robin's our shield now."

Back at Lakeside Villas, Aisha Seth, still swayed by Vikram Malhotra's lies, vowed to block Robin from Tara. "He's a danger," she told Anna Fernandes, her voice iron. "Horizon Enterprises will crush him." Her ambition surged, a fortress against Robin's growing legend.

Vikram Malhotra, spurned by Aisha, shifted his sights to Priya Reddy, his flirtatious texts ignored. "Priya, you're wasting time with Robin," he messaged, his scheming relentless. Priya dismissed him with a scoff. "Crawl back to your lies, Vikram," she replied, her loyalty to Robin unwavering.

At Neon Nights, the party's tension spiked as Rahul's taunts grew bolder. "Robin, you're nothing without Priya's money," he mocked, his friends laughing. Meera, her judgment clouded by the aphrodisiac, leaned too close to Rahul, unaware of his predatory grin. Robin's eyes narrowed, sensing the shift, his instincts ready for a fight.
